Regardless. I fail to see the purpose of an entire subforum dedicated to wonderposting and stupid talk.

Explain to me the usefulness of such a subforum. Please.

I don't entirely see how it's elitist when there's no formal system for labelling people as either worthy or unworthy of posting in the fora.

I'm on the verge of tears here because my shoulder and neck hurt from how I have to reach up from my bed to type on my laptop. This has been taxing and while I'd like to get to all of your arguments. OTC does not fulfill that latter requirement for me.

What Charles said. But this was never about elitism. This is because, let's be honest, Yack Fest has turned into the "Silly Subforum". We discuss silly shit, we post silly shit, and we don't really care. But YF isn't supposed to be like that, right? So why not split it in two.

Creating a subforum where we separate the seriousness from the silliness is what we already did. Those who like silly can post in YF. Those who like relatively serious conversations can come here.

And that's fine. But on the other hand, some of us would like to have a place where we can start wonderpost threads without having to hear people who dislike wonderthreads complain about them.
