Yep, though everyone in this case being about two people, that's to be expected.
For me the show never loses its cheesy-ness. The stakes rise and the conflict becomes more "serious" or whatever, but it's still intensely silly. There being a subplot in the final episodes about the here-to-unknown magical and alien powers of the Chrysanthemum, for instance.

This post has been powered by avenging fury and a balanced diet.I could rewatch Season 3's intro a thousand times and still get chills.
Things are getting so damn tense.
I've picked up the show and gotten halfway through Season 3 actually.
I'm up to where the two Crichtons have been separated.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!This is one of those seires that has been on my favourites list for a while.
I need to rewatch it sometime as I am sure I missed several episodes due to circumstances out of my control when it was running.
Who watches the watchmen? Not really sure what to think about that. On the one hand, more Farscape would be awesome and there's a lot of loose ends that could be used for the movie's plot. On the other hand, I haven't read the comics that the movie is set to be a sequel to and I'm worried that Farscape would have to shed some of its surreal charm in order to become marketable enough to be made into a movie.
Just finished watching the premiere episode of this on the UK telly channel, Pick TV. Which has certain unfortunate implications if you know who owns it and what it used to be called.
I kinda liked it.
... I don't get it. Other than Rupert Murdoch being a generally unpleasant man, what's wrong with Sky 3?
It's Sky. Therefore tainted by original sin. I don't even pirate stuff that's on any of the Sky channels - that's how much I hate the whole stinking price gouging edifice that that company is made of.
I thought there was something more significant regarding the name of the channel.
You won't even pirate stuff that's shown on Sky (including programmes made by other companies?), but you will watch them directly? Pick is still owned by B Sky B, and they have a part-interest in Freeview and Freesat.
So unless this article is old, I suppose this is "more" confirmation about a possible film?
But its a rebooooooot.... about John and Aeryn's son... whyyyyyyy?
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Probably because Browder and Black are too middle-aged to be the main characters of a feature film.
I'm not particularly looking forward to a Farscape movie. IMO, while Peacekeeper Wars had a some severe pacing issues, it was a good enough end to the series. I'm not really sure that we need a movie, especially if they're going to drop the rest of the cast.
Farscape was put to bed. If they want to reboot with a new cast, well, that's appropriate. But a lot of the show's charm stems from the context in which it aired.
I tried to get through the comic. It was all cutesy dialogue and continuity porn. Maybe there's an audience for that, but it's sure as hell not me.
I'm a skeptical squirrelThat article is from April 20. Same time as the whole movie thing was first announced.
This series is next on my list after I finish with Babylon 5. I remember catching a few episodes here and there and enjoying it but never had the time before to sit down and watch it. So it is next the list.
Who watches the watchmen? If no one's told you, you want to watch until a character named "Scorpius" comes up.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Oh I know about Scorpius. From what I did catch he amused me greatly.
Who watches the watchmen? This has been on Netflix, and to celebrate, I have been binge-watching it. I recently got to the end of Season 2 with "Liars, Guns, and Money," and, because I am such a nerd, every single time I heard Crichton call Natira 'Frau Blucher,' I made horse-whinnying noises.
Mostly because I felt the boys doing the sound missed a great opportunity on that one. Other than that, I'd forgotten just how good this show is. You know how you watch something when you're young and then you can't appreciate it like you did when you were a kid?
After being subjected to so many seasons of The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother and Sleepy Hollow...I think I appreciate it more. We need more muppets in sci-fi, damn it!
If you meet me have some courtesy, have some sympathy, have some taste. Use all your well-learned politesse or I'll lay your soul to waste. That said, Season 1 is underrated and far more entertaining the second time around, when you know where the character arcs are headed.

One can dream.
And on that note— hey, how about that Ben Browder cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2? If that's not a tip of the hat, I don't know what is.
James Gunn tweeted a list of his inspirations for the Guardians movies a few months ago. Unsurprisingly, Farscape was one of them.
Finished season 1. That wasn't as heavy as everyone made it out to be.
