I'm not sure how much Rouge struggled with it, since I think she was only ever in it for the money.
This is the whole "Aang totally killed those fire nation soldiers" thing all over again. If you have to squint and point out a scenario in which characters could have died offscreen, it doesn't count.
But either way "Eggman doesn't kill", and "Eggman tries, but fails to kill" are two separate statements that have wildly different meanings.

Different topic: I honestly don’t like it when people say “Sonic is a bad franchise”. Like okay the quality of the games can be a roller coaster but a lot of the games are actually good. I think the other problem is that most Sonic games require multiple playthroughs for you to get good at the game and most people these days aren’t trained to do that.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!

While I think its unfair to say Sonic is outright a "bad" franchise, when its lagging behind the competition in...everything, I do think its fair to see it as not being of very good quality when compared to other products in the market.

Yeah, I get it. The quality is a roller coaster. It’s just that I’ve seen and heard enough people say “Sonic was never good” unironically that it gets annoying to hear that phrase. Same with “rough transition to 3D”.
It also comes off as people stating their opinions as if they are facts and that really bugs me.

I know I'm late, it's just I only decided to watch videos on it because I also can't play it and...Russian Shadow is surprising but not the weirdest thing to see about this game at this point. Especially not compared to it being a Sonix X adaptation of all things.
