-Aichi snaps out of his thoughts upon being asked what's up (in a rather crude manner not exactly the same as what Allen said, but translation is weird like that).-

-Aichi lost at least two friends during the escape...-

"...And I haven't seen a lot of people since..."

Lemme guess, everyone died and you saw it right? That's fucking rough.

-When no one else is around, he finds himself thinking back to it.-

-All of those people trying their hardest to get away, all of those people that fought to the death, all of those people that were completely taken off guard...-

"I didn't have that issue." She said as she lifted her dress to show off a large pair with some wicked platforms

"Oh, they're an old pair I found secondhand and had repaired."

Yeah, that holds up- the leather looks old but well-cared for, but the soles and platforms look newer.

"Gosh, they look good on you..."

-allen can sorta sympathize with aichi on that-

-watching everyone dying can be a horrible thing really, and what he's feeling is probably horrible-

-but at the same time he's just exhausted emotionally, he's already going through grief and pain and he doesn't want other people's issues piled on top of that which he is far from the best person to talk to. plus he can't just share his problems with people, some folks might at most give a guy who wasn't involved pity or a competition for sympathy. but others will call him out for being whiny probably...-

-allen knows he's the worst person to help anyone right now, or even put a shoulder on-

-… he can only do one thing, one thing to spare aichi from himself-

-he sucks everything in, and glares at aichi-
