-Can't help but be reminded of Leos and Sthesia and how they pat his head before he drifts off again.-

(The smile falters a bit... But only so it can become genuine and warm. Gunth ruffles Aichi's hair a bit as he nods off, making sure he's tucked in properly.)

-He'll wake up nice and awake later on, but for now he needs sleep.-

-...Unfortunately this means Gunther doesn't really have any company at the second.-

Outside the Room (Leos and Sthesia)

(Leos is outside, double-checking the Extreme Gundam's systems.)

(Sthesia, meanwhile, is using some recently requisitioned ultrasound rigs to map out the Skaven tunnels.)

Outside (Aichi) and (Misaki)

-Aichi and Misaki both decided to check the Gundam today, hoping that Leos and Sthesia would be here...-

-...! They are!-

"Leos, Sthesia!"

-...Aichi sounds serious, guys...-

-Misaki can tell that Leos and Sthesia are hard at work, but judging by the equipment Sthesia has...-

"...You two know, don't you?"

-...Yep, Aichi and Misaki know what's going on. You can only imagine how they've been dealing with this...-

-Both of them were already in a rough spot because of Cross's passing, but adding this on top of it...-

-...Heck, they both look a tad worn out. The whole thing is draining to both of them (although Aichi seems worse, as he's been forcing himself to train with that armor and sword like a college student trying to cram their studies into one night for major tests).-

Eires revived on their Suit and sat up, shaking off the effects of rigor mortis as best they could, and surveyed the surroundings; the forest, Ori's work cannibalizing the mech, and the sky.

They stiffly reached for their pack of cigarettes and cursed quietly when they realized they were low, and lit one in any case.

HOTEL OTHER DIMENSION!

-somehow while everyone was sleeping, Kirby has learned how to open a window and floated outside the hotel-

-he is too restless, this city is so new to him and he simply must explore it!-

I tried to get the others to keep an eye out with their G-Streams, but... they're busy tracking down Acht.

Outside (Aichi) and (Misaki)

-Things just get more and more screwed up...-

"...E-Everyone is going to..."

-...Everyone's going to cease to exist if they don't find a way out of this universe...-

-...And others are going to try to buy the escapees time.-

-Misaki looks away, knowing that Aichi's not planning to leave until the last second (no matter how much she tells him NOT to do that).-

"...People are going to be fighting, and others need help escaping."

-...Yeah, Aichi was...-

"...I-I've been meaning to ask you guys..."

-...Oh, he knows that it's crude of him to ask... He knows that Cosmic Compiler has guidelines, rules, and so many other things that make it nigh impossible for his hopes to be fulfilled, but he knows this is one of the few things he can do...-

-To discuss the idea of assistance from Cosmic Compiler in getting people moved from this place to the next (or at the very least to a safe location in general).-

-It's clear that so many people are unable to travel across dimensions themselves (Aichi and Misaki only being two of the large number)...-

-...They need all the help they can get, and Aichi hopes that Cosmic Compiler wouldn't turn them away.-

-He's been wanting to ask you guys something?-

-It seems as though morning has arrived, and Aichi ends up sitting up in bed as decently as he does each morning (Normal Aichis struggle or used to struggle; this one does not).-

-...?-

-...When did he fall asleep? He was working with the data...-

-...?!-

-Where's the computer?!-

-Aichi immediately snaps into a more alert mode, and begins looking for his computer.-

-He NEEDS that computer. It has not just the data about this place, but it has everything else he's learned...-

-...All of the things he's begun to care about.-

-kirbs just floats around outside the building until he sees through the window 108 in his room-

-he flaps his stubs and goes to the window before smushing his face on it-

Some trees in the forest are strung together by a silk-like barrier. Almost like webbing. But it's bound too tightly to be a normal kind of web...

-He finally finds his computer set to the side, and picks it up.-

-...Only to notice Kirby smushing his face on the window.-

"...?"

-How did he get there?-

-Aichi blankly stares...-

-...And then opens the window.-

-babby floats on in and spits out the air before falling and landing on 108's head-

-Well, he seems to keep his balance well enough, with Kirby on top of his head.-

-This one's a new one. He's never had something or someone just... plop on his head before.-

"You—'re on my head."

-He sounds a tad perplexed.-

Eires adjusted their sunglasses and looked at the web-things.

"...Huh."

As they look around, they will see gaps in some of the trees, some blocked off. And one of the gaps being filled at present by webbing. By some twelve-foot tall... humanoid... spinning webs from its arms. Evidently it has not seen Eires.

Yeah, what's up?

Outside (Aichi) and (Misaki)

-...-

"...W-When everyone was discussing ways of getting people to safety... away from this place..."

-...He feels guilty about saying this... It's so ungrateful of him to ask this...-

"...I-I remembered the technology from your world, and..."

-The tech the Gundam Thieves, along Leos and Sthesia's other allies used to get here...-

"...Is Cosmic Compiler able to provide support to help people evacuate?"

-Misaki finally decided to ask properly, seeing as Aichi was getting awkward about it.-

"...I-I know that it can't be that simple, but..."

-...They don't like asking things like this. They understand that there's all sorts of protocol, rules, guidelines, regulations, etc. that you and Cosmic Compiler have to deal with...-

-...But at the same time these two and so many others aren't getting out of here without help.-

-You're two of the only people they can guarantee have the ability to move through dimensions.-

-Is it any wonder the two felt like they should discuss it?-

Eires watched it silently, taking long drags off their cigarette as they did.

It stops, then turns to look at the mechanic, then up at Eires. It's eyes narrow. "Did we disturb you?"

(shakes her head)

-Aichi's been thinking about this whole thing, and as more time passes...-

-...The worse he feels...-

-Link Joker... Zamasu... those rat creatures...-

-...And... this place will... everyone will...-

-...He... doesn't want to lose this place... As silly as it sounds, this is his home.-

-He can't remember anything before this place. He has no memory of ever being anywhere else. He can't imagine being anywhere else.-

-For the place he made all of these cherished memories to disappear...-

-...He... doesn't want that...-

-He finds himself growing more and more overwhelmed by these feelings as time goes on, and he's fearing just what will happen...-

-What if he's not strong enough...? What if they can't get out of here...?-

-He tries his hardest to fight these dark feelings, and he knows that Link Joker is toying with him through them (No, Link Joker is NOT going to let him rest easy...).-

-Even now, it wants to use his feelings to finally assert control.-

-It's well aware that it'd die here, but it has the means to get them both out with its power.-

-It's what got them both here to begin with, unbeknownst to Aichi.-

-Aichi holds a hand to his chest as he fights with his feelings...-

-It's then that he looks up, and notices he's at Anna's door.-

-...Anna...-

-...It's been so long since he's seen her... He's been afraid of approaching her, uncertain of how to tackle his feelings...-

-But... he wants to see her. He truly does.-

-And... h-he needs to warn her...-

-...A-About what's happening...-

-He begins to knock on her door.-

"A-Anna...? Are you there...?"

-Anna, it's Aichi! Although he sounds very concerned about something...-

-anna makes something of a grunt noise-
