-Walks over to a wall and drops it in one of the holes-

-Finishes his sandwich-

-Starts meditating-

-wonders what it's like to be on the outside-

-Feels vaguely depressed for some reason-

-looks at cloud-

-goes over to cloud and huggles him with one arm-

-Is confused by the hug, but hugs her back anyway-

-to Zero, Megaman, and Protoman- Can I get you guys anything?

("A way out of this.") Nothing, really.

("A way to get Lan here sooner.") Nah, I'm good.

If you have any of these. -holds out a small glowing crystal- I'd like some.

-Frowns- What is that? It's not materia, because I can't get a feel for the spell, and there's no link...

(bites into a slice of cake...and begins to cry)

Its an energy crystal. -eats it- I need to eat them from time to time.

Uh, Chell, is there something wrong? It's almost as if you've never eaten cake before.

("Or withheld from the luxury of cake for a long time.")

-Glances at Chell concernedly-

(Awakens from his nap on the couch but doesn't notice Chell yet. Conveniently changes the channel to TLC. Cake Boss is on.)

(Still in the back room.)

(Chell is smiling through her tears as she picks up her paper)

(writes) "It's real! I'm free! This place isn't a trick!"

(Looks behind him to see how everyone is doing and freezes in shock at the sight of Chell, gaping. Approaches her slowly and writes, hands shaking.)

"THE LOGO ON YOUR SHIRT. YOU'RE FROM APERTURE?"

-nods- You can stay here as long as you need to, if you like.

(nods at Cloud excitedly, hugging her arms in glee. Then she looks at the new guy, and sees the logo on his outfit. She freezes as well, hugging the portal gun to her chest. She takes the paper and writes with a shaking hand:)

"Yes. Please don't take me back. I don't want Her to get mad."

OH HELL YES. I have always wanted these two to meet!
