maddy and others have already pointed out there is really nothing needed. SBIH needs some clean up. The TRS works nicely. Or ask the curators to look into end of story.

Something is needed. The problem tropes in Darth Wiki are the reason why this discussion even exists. If Fast Eddie doesn't want them ruining our reputation, then they should'nt be more accessable than the translation pages.

We have beaten that horse into a puddle it is not ruining our reputation. How many of the pages have curators? How many have been recently cleaned? How many have you honestly gone over and read recently?

But the point is that they don't match the rest of Darth Wiki. It wasn't until they were imported into Darth Wiki that people start thinking that Darth Wiki is suppose to be a dumping ground for negative tropes.

Clean them up and let them rest. Like I said. Curate and watch them. This was addressed by Eddie a couple of times already. There is no reason to cut the tropes and they are not going to be on the main wiki. Instead of thinking of it as a dumping ground (fix don't complain) treat it like limbo.
If I remember one of them was even being considered to return to main by eddie.

If I remember correctly, the last option was to get rid of darth wiki entirely, which is not even worth adding to the crowner.
I think it may be an idea to rename this thread to make it clearer that we are only talking about the complaining pages. How do we do that?

One idea that just popped up for me - if one of the subjectives on Darth Wiki is causing problems and doesn't have curators that can keep the pages under control, put a banner on the page(s) calling for volunteers apply for a position as curator. If nobody steps up, lock the page until a reliable curator(s) is found.
If the troper base that enjoys the complaining tropes is willing to self-police themselves, then the moderators won't have exhaunt themselves keeping the pages under control. If not, lock the pages as being too much trouble.

The good news about having a mod following this thread (me) is that I can do the title change things as soon as I see 'em. 
Locking bothersome Darth Wiki pages is certainly doable and is preferable to deleting them.

Can I remove the option about a curator? It's already like that. Also, I added that idea I had about promoting someone to act as a Darth Wiki mod.

Besides we could attach a condition you have x amount of time to clean them up before we aim for a lock/axe solution.

If it gets to the point where someone would need to curate Darth Wiki, I'd be up to the task. I'm usually rooting around there most days anyhow.
Can we not lump Wallbanger and DMOS together with SBIH in the crowner, please? The latter has standards, the former is "whine about anything in a work you don't like."
Altough even DMOS has standards too. No natter, only one entry, only single moment and they must be signed.

- If we decide to lock the pages that curation can't help, how will this be determined? Or if that option gets over 2:1 will there be another crowner to determine that?
