-Suddenly, the mist coalesces around the sword, and forms a green Gastly possessing a suit of samurai armor pierced by countless swords-

???: <Under my control this body breathes evil mist over the city. And you, mutt and friends... You attempt to clear the skies of my poison?! Waging battle with me inside a human body will be no easy task. Even now my sword Goldnail cries for your blood! Come, step forward so that I, the indomitable Blight, may cut you down!>

-Issun zaps Blight with a small Thundershock, knocking him back-

Issun: <Hehe, I'll [step forward] all right. You're a real [piece of work,] Blight! Better say your [prayers!]>

Blight: <You uncultured wretch! Be warned, we are in the Warlord's bowels... if we fight here, we will...>

Issun: <Gimme a [break!] A little action here will help him [wake up!] Now... You're the one behind that poison mist... But it ends now!]]]

-Draws Denkomaru-

-Pulls out the Adamant Orb in one hand and my dagger in another-

-Sabaku very nearly falls asleep before a shadow becomes apparent just outside the clearing. He turns his attention to it and waits.-

-Vulcan tenses before Sabaku puts him at ease.-

Sabaku: I'm waiting.

???: <Why are you waiting?>

Sabaku: Because I knew the only Pokémon in this region that would approach me with words would be one that understood the need for dialogue.

???: <... A wise action. And wiser words.>

-The shadow steps forward, revealing the form of a tall, scarred Stoutland.-

Stoutland: <You are not like the other warriors who come this way. They come with fire, yet you come with earth.>

Sabaku: I had a wise teacher. My name is Sabaku. Yours?

Stoutland: <... Wodan. Wisdom is a sad casualty of war, and yet it is desperately need in such times.>

Sabaku: Well, Wodan, I wish for you to join me in alleviating that problem. But I believe that there is one matter that must be attended to, first...

-Wodan sets his shoulders as his mustache bristles with excitement.-

Wodan: <Very well. Let us begins.>

-Vulcan steps forward and flexes his claws.-

-Wodan nods in agreement, and the two charge to meet in combat.-

Crow: "Huh. Well I guess that makes sense."

"And I might try checking that out at some point."

-Mezzo opens her eyes; Felis is pawing at the window-

-outside, a guard opens the gate for Monos-

Aiura is waiting for the cover of darkness. "I would join my soldiers in this endeavor, but I need to stay here in case something happens. And Mendel can't teleport. Hooke can, but I've not linked with him much."

- Blight parries Herbert's strike with Goldnail-

Blight: <Nice try.>

-He then slashes at Herbert, but then is quickly knocked aside by Issun tackling him-

- Ammy then strikes with Seven Strike-

-Blight quickly gets back up and tosses a dagger at Tagg-

Lina: Rrrr... That bastard... -hugs him- But I'm so glad you're safe...

-Kaius may notice Lina's bag shaking-

Arika: You totally should.

-Usually, Herbert would take advantage of Blight's change of target, but he is currently too distracted by the orb in Tagg's hand to attack.-

Herbert: Wait, is that... no, that can't be what I think it is.

Illusio - Around 600 years ago

-Takuma and Brandon are around, and passing time prior to the attack by having Sumac and Scrafty spar with each other. Surprisingly enough, Scrafty is winning most of the fights, mostly because Sumac has a tendency to get distracted by something mid-battle.-

-Focuses on the Orb, causing time to slow down-

-Slashes at Blight's sword in an attempt to disarm him-

- Goldnail is knocked out of Blight's hands, and his armor crumples-

Ammy: <Good idea, Tagg!>

-Slows down time herself and whales on Goldnail along with Issun-
