Morty: "Alright, then. Use Focus Blast!"

-Gengar focuses his energy, creates an orb, then shoots that orb at Jab-

Lyuri: Blind? Huh... Let's see that...

-Lyuri then got closer to Nina to take the blindfold off, but Glen blocked her way-

Lyuri: ... I guess not.

Nina: ... Sorry...

-Jessica frowns-

Jessica: Don't you know it's rude to do stuff like that? Seriously.

Ecruteak City, Past

Shogun is fainted due to Destiny Bond

Vrang: Shogun return, time to shine, Snappy!

Shogun is recalled, and Snappy is sent out

Lyuri: Yeesh, calm down! It's not like I was going to hurt her or something.

-Nina was basically hiding behind Glen while Elicia and Noel were on the ground, looking at the confusion-

Lyuri: Besides, a blindfold is a really silly thing to use around, makes you look like a weirdo more than anything.

-Vladimir is returned. Des halls out another pokeball.-

Des: This is it then, the final round. Show me what you got.

-He flings the pokeball and Saltatio appears, an Expert Belt tied around his head just under his hat-

Des: You get the first move my friend.

Hmmm. There's something about this Vrang kid. The same thing I see in Lord Umbra and myself, I see in him...

Jab: -knocked sprawling by the attack- <Owwwww....what kind of Gym Leader gives that to their mons?>

Katie: Oh no! Jab! -sees that he's okay- Strike back with Faint Attack!

Jab: -hears his order- <Oh? Good enough, I guess.>

-Jab darts forward, striking at Gengar with a paw coated in obscura-

Ecruteak City, Past

Vrang: Snappy use Work Up, then Acrobatics

Snappy is worked up, gaining a Attack, and Special Attack boost, then moves swiftly towards Saltatio

-Gengar is struck by the Faint Attack, barely having enough energy left-

Morty: "Use Focus Blast again!"

-Gengar forms an orb of fighting energy again and shoots it at Jab-

Jab: -panting, avoids the Focus Blast, but finds himself paralyzed from attacking-

Katie: Ah! I forgot about that! -sprays Jab with a Paralyze Heal-

Snappy flies up into the air

Morty: "Once more!"

-Gengar creates an orb of fighting energy once more, then shoots it at Jab-

He's out of range up there, guess gotta wait til he comes back down...

Des: Make it rain Salty

-Saltatio dances around surrounding himself in a blue aura. Storm clouds form over head and it begins to rain.

-Saltatio's movements seem to quicken-

Jab: -being unparalyzed gives Jab his speed back, and he quickly dodges the second Focus Blast-

Katie: Once again! Faint Attack!

Jab: <This is going to end badly...> -coats his claws in Obscura, and swings at the Gengar-

-Gengar is struck by Jab's attack, causing him to faint-

-Morty recalls Gengar-

Morty: "Well, it seems you have bested me. Take this Fog Badge and this TM for Shadow Ball."

-gives the Badge and TM to Katie-

Katie: Yes! -does an Item Get! pose with her new badge- Thanks, Jab! -picks up the Sneasel and hugs him as she heads over to her friends and family-

Forte: All right, Katie!

-two of her Pokeballs are glowing; Aurelia and Jillian release themselves-

Katie: What's going on? Are they-?

-the two Pokemon evolve!-

-This girl was starting to get on Jessica's nerves-

Jessica: You do know about a thing called tact, right? You might want to use it.

Trip is wherever anyone of intrest is.

Lily is with Marceline~!

Lyuri: I'm just being honest, you have a problem with that?

Nina: Um...

Fortis: Oh my gosh! They're glowing!

Don't panic. It just means they're evolving.

Aurelia: <Aw, yeah! This is more like it! I can protect Amberjack even better, now!>

Jillian: -looks at her new claws, and spikes-

Katie: -picks up Jillian carefully, and gives her a big hug- You evolved!

Jillian: -hugs back- <I did!> ^_^
