Chase: (tries another Air Slash)

Fade: <!> -tosses Salamence aside and fires a Thunderbolt at the Air Slash-

Marmalade: -charges Fade-

-Fade becomes intangible, phasing through Marmalade-

Marmalade: -zips through Fade and skids to a stop midair somehow- <Stupid ghosts...>

That's it, we're taking a little detour! Helios!

Helios: On it!

-Heats up a shard-

-Blip-

-And he, Muddy, and I end back up in Treasure Town-

-On the opposite side of town-

Helios: You've got to be kidding me. I could use some honey right now.

Sinnoh Tribe Grounds

Okay, so out new boss is demanding Eskay get temporary Fourth Wall powers. His exact words were "He's an Author Avatar, he deserves to know what's going on!" Not very effective logic in my opinion, but whatever. Anyway...

Eskay: <Luke, here. Get over there and help out. Spectrum's back, so that'll help slightly.>

And he hands Luke a shard.

I could've probably written that better, but he demanded exactly that.

Treasure Town

Anyway, Spectrum decides to fall back a bit.

Look, I know Flygon are physical attackers. Tell that to the Fight Scene Manager.

Gyru: <AAAARGH!>

-glares at Spectrum- <Enough of you.>

-meanwhile, Mix is frantically Synthesizing-

- The Thunderbolt and Air Slash connect, resulting in an explosion that causes confetti to fall down -

Chase: <...?>

Goggles: <Hmm... What to do...?>

Luke: <Eh? Oh, well...>

He pauses to look at the shard, hesitating somewhat.

<...I guess it's better than sitting here doing nothing...>

He flicks the shard...

...and appears next to Lake and Stratus in Treasure Town.

<WHOA! That was...freaky.>

Lake: <Oh! How did you->

Lake notices the shard his former trainer is holding.

<Wait. Stupid question.>

Luke: <What's going on over here?>

He turns to look around.

<Hey...we've been here before...>

Stratus: <Don't you remember? This is that Pokémon only world that you visited with Lake that time!>

Luke: <Yeah, yeah. I do...>

He then notices the melee taking place in the background.

<...Why is Every beating up his Toxicroak, Fade, and Gyru?>

Stratus: <Er, because they're jerks?>

Lake: <To be fair, they started it...>

-Normally such breaches of-Who am I kidding, we do this all the time. Anyway, a honeypot falls in the general vicinity of the battlefield-

Helios: Honey!

-And starts flying off in that direction-

Helios, wait for us! Curse our slowness outside of wate.r

Draca: So the salamander brothers and the fire moth are gone. I guess we'll just keep moving then.

Coulomb: Sounds like a plan to me.

Lily wakes up, immediately takes in what's happening, and charges a Quverdance'D Solarbeam.

Lily: <Spectrum, pull my master and a few mon's from Eterna City to here!>

Fade: <...What?>

—-

Gyru: <I said, enough!>

-Gyru decides to switch tactics, and fires a Confuse Ray at Spectrum-

Jab: -is trying to get up, but Drift has decided to climb on him-

Mix: -almost back to full health-

Luke: <Alright, another being a coward...>

Luke drops to all fours.

<I'm a Feraligatr! Time to act like one!>

And with that, he charges into the fray, aiming a bite at Gyru.

Lake: <HEY! Be careful! These guys aren't messing around!>

Treasure Town

Spectrum: <Sorry... That machine is blocking much of our fourth wall access... They'll have to get here on their own.>

She notices Luke attacking Gyru, and decides to wait for him to get out of the way before her next attack. Because trying to attack while confused couldn't possibly end well.

Lily: <Alr- GAK!>

A metaphysical Weedle bites her inner ham. She starts yelling randomly.

Gyru: -is bitten on the yolk, twitches- <Fleshforms...>

-Gyru begins to spin at incredible speed, whirling around the battlefield like an out-of-control top-

Luke: <...Oh, Mu->

Before he can finish, Gyru begins to whirl at incredibly speed in an attempt to fling Luke off. Panicking, the Feraligatr simply bites the Bronzong harder, determined not to let go.

Stratus: <Oh!>

Lake: <OH!>

Stratus: <HOLD ON, LUKE! You're gonna' need some medicine after this one...>

Lily: <FINAL FLASH SOLARBEEEEEEEAM!>

Whatever encouraged Lily to call her attack is a mystery, but the beam looks nice and flashy as it heads towards Toxicroak.

-Toxicroak, noticing the beam, kicks Diesel into its path-

Diesel: -blocks it with Protect while Every attacks Toxicroak with Rollout to keep him busy-

Gyru: -continues spinning, sending the various mons fighting it flying using Luke-

Mix: <@_@>
