Crochet: -With her blades crossed while walking next to Doc- I'm sure the Miltank won't attack us guys, as long as we're respectful.

Thresher: Are you guys sure this is a good idea walking around at night? There were those Luxio earlier looking over a fresh kill...not to mention the other predators...

-From what some of the mons back in Ecruteak said, the Miltank had formed some sort of alliance with the Magnemite that lived in the power plant offroute, and they control this whole area together, including Olivine.-

Meanwhile, in a distant land... A young girl stumbles upon a strange shimmering shard... She bends over to pick it up and is hurtled through time and space! She picks her head up, dreadfully embarassed that she seemed to black out and finds herself surrounded by Pokemon. -Strange,- she thinks to herself, -I've never seen these pokemon in the forest before...- The huddled mass of Pokemon begin to murmur, when a nearby Chimchar walks over and reaches for her hand. She takes it thankfully, and reaches for her belt to release her Gothorita. After looking for a few seconds with a puzzled look on her face, the Chimchar asks, "Excuse me, miss, what are you looking for? Maybe I can help?" She gets a strange look on her face, but in the end she shakes her head. She's heard of weirder... "Are you sure?" She nods. "Well, what's your name?" She makes a gesture toward her throat, attempting to indicate that she can't speak. "Well, that's a silly reason to not tell me your name. You are a Gothorita, are you not?" At this revelation, she finally looks down at herself... and sees that he's completely right. She keeps her cool once again, and thinks to him, *You can call me Psyche. What's your name?* He chuckles a little and replies, "I've been going by Blaze lately. Well, enough with the introductions. Welcome to Treasure Town. Let me show you around."

Crystal Cave - Several Hours later...

As it turned out, trying to find one variety of crystal in this cave was like trying to find a needle in a haystack; difficult and, quite frankly, boring.

Stratus: <This sucks. We've been searching for hours, and we haven't seen any rainbow crystals anywhere!>

The Dragonite crosses his arms, an annoyed look on his face.

<Can we give up, soon? I'm hungry, I'm tired, and I wanna' go home! Plus the background music is starting to get on my nerves...>

Lake, who was searching through the crystals growing on the wall, pauses to glance at Stratus, frowning at the dragon Pokémon.

Lake: <But we promised that Gigalith we would find some for him! We can't just break our promise like that.>

Stratus: <Well...no, that wouldn't be very nice...>

The Dragonite sighs heavily as he leans back against the cave wall, exhausted.

<But this is so hard...>

Lake: <I know it is, Stratus. But nobody ever said that being on an Exploration Team was easy.>

Lake finishes his search, not finding any rainbow crystal.

<None here. Let's move on.>

Stratus: <Okay...>

The Dragonite follows Lake, a defeated look on his face.

<Can we at least stop for a second lunch soon?>

Lake: <Really? Didn't you have just have two Huge Apples?>

Stratus: <But now that my belly's bigger, I need more food to fill it!>

Lake: <...Right...>

Gullwings' House

Salamence: -blinks- -pokes Stratus with a talon (gently)- <That doesn't make any sense!>

Stratus is poked (gently), giving the Dragonite such a start that he leaps several feet into the air.

Stratus: <EEP!>

Lake: <WHOA! What is it?>

Stratus lands, then looks around frantically for any sign of whomever had poked him. However, apart from Lake (and perhaps Goggles, Chase and Igneous), there doesn't appear to be anyone else there.

Stratus: <...Wha?>

He shifts his gaze to Lake, giving him a strange look.

<Did you just poke me?>

The Feraligatr shakes his head in response.

Lake: <No...>

Stratus blinks, then glances around again warily.

Stratus: <...Must have just been my imagination, then...>
