Lake reaches into his bag, rummages around for a bit, then pulls out a Sitrus Berry, offering it to Skye.

<I've got plenty more where that came from. I need them for all those times I need to use Bubble Shield...>

He wondered how Oblivia Suicune managed to make so many bubbles without any sign of discomfort. Perhaps there was something she wasn't telling him. Or she had several thousand HP. Who knew?

Bluescale

Skye accepts the berry, and she recovers. At least, she stops trembling. Her voice is still a bit shaky.

Skye: <T-thanks, Lake...>

Lake gives her a smile, patting the Skarmory gently.

Lake: <No problem. It was the least I could do, really.>

Bluescale

Skye comes as close to blushing as a Skarmory possibly can again. Which, luckily for her, is absolutely nothing. Except maybe a slight increase in body temperature.

Gullwing's House

Every: -curls around Mezzo- <Hope you feel better soon...>

Lake, having no way to sense Skye's body temperature, does not notice her "blushing". He does, however, wonder why she got so worked up all of a sudden.

She seemed fine now, though. So perhaps it wasn't worth worrying about for the time being.

Lake: <Hmm, I wonder where Gino's gone? We should probably get going soon.>

Note that Skye is no alcoholic. She just wants a way to forget what had just happened. She's lucky she doesn't know Sunny yet.

-the village is built at the edge of and over the water, with many roads smoothly transitioning into piers; overall a pretty healthy-looking riverside community, except... entirely populated by Charizard?-

Spinda!Rex: <...Huh. Odd place for a grass-type to live. Maybe she just commutes?> *wanders over to a nearby Charizard* <Excuse me...sir? Do you know where I can find a big dinosaur with leaves growing out of her back?>

Spinda!Rex: <Oh, Teksab is her name? That's cool. ...More errands? That's fine, I guess...> *follows the Charizards, curious as to what's going on*

-the Tropius from before is floating in a tank of saline water. Thin tubes are running from her to a machine by the tank, and some electrodes on her head are connected to an antenna suspended in a tank of colored liquid-

-she opens her eyes-

Charizard 'M:    This will accelerate my work nicely... Whoops! Sorry, listen to Teksab, ignore me.   

Teksab: *ahem* anyhow, I think this partnership could work out nicely... I do think I'll offer you a management role when I've got the infrastructure ready.

Meanwhile, if you would be so kind as to apply your procurement talents further, I could use:

• a sample of Hydreigon DNA
• a sample of Pidove DNA
• a sample of Ditto DNA (if it was turned into any of the above at or just before the time of sampling, it counts double!)
• a shortwave antenna
• scary-looking armor (optional, for whatever your favorite scary species is~)
