Eskay: Hey, sis. Miss me?

Eskay: Pretty good, actually. Remember that news story about that thing at a cathedral?

Alli: Yeah, why?

Eskay: Well, I met this guy named Umbra... *Proceeds to tell about from meeting Umbra forward*

Elm's Lab

Lab Assistant: -notices Umbra walking in- Hello! Welcome to Elm's Lab! Feel free to look around, but be careful not to touch any of the equipment!

Umbra: OK... thanks?

Styx: Great, now I'm tempted to touch it.

-Umbra and Styx look around, then go out the back and notice a multitude of Pokemon milling about... Including a certain Typhlosion-

Cinder: -notices Umbra- What's with the black outfit? Are you one of those "goths" or something?

Umbra: Um, no...

Styx: He can understand you, you know.

Cinder: Wait, what? Ah, never mind... it's not like I haven't seen weirder.

Umbra: Well, this is a nice place you have here...

Cinder: Yeah, it is nice, but it's also kinda boring. Not much to do here...

Umbra: Hmm. How long have you been here?

Cinder: Pretty much my whole life, sadly enough. I was one of the starters Elm offered a long time ago, but nobody ever took me. At least it's better than being monnapped like Basil was.

Umbra: Hmmm... Tell me more.

-They continue having a conversation-

Eskay's House

Eskay: ...and then I got on the plane and came home.

Alli: So next you're gonna try and find a Psychic-type Pokémon?

Eskay: Yep. Trouble is, where to find one...

Alli: Well, whatever you do, I'm tagging along!

Eskay: Um... Alright I guess...

Alli: Yay!

Fortis: Aww, fine. I'll just find my own then and when I do Mercury will be so big and strong!

Resort Area (Past)

Fool walks over to Michelle, Roderich and Lenore.

Fool: Oh! There you are! I wasw looking for you! C'mon, it's time to leave.

All: Aw...

Fool: Don't worry, We'll stop in Hearthome first.

Fool recalls Michelle and Roderich befor hopping on Lenore

Fool: To Hearthome!

^Lenore^: ^And we have... LIFDOFF!^

And Lenore lanuches in the air towards Hearthome.

Fool: Whew! We're back here.

^Lenore^: ^It's so much nicer here with the Twilighty gone?^

Fool: Yeah, it is. Why don't we explore town for a little while before I rotate you lot?

^Lenore^: Sounds good!

And with that, the two explore town.

Salamence: -pecks Every awake and goes back to sleep-

Forte: -to Katie- You could just wait until it hatches. I wonder if it's an Eevee...

Pianis: Okay, really. Why are Piano and Fortis not back yet?

Butterscotch: <Because they flew off.>

-in the background, Pianis' character is getting attacked by a wolf, but he doesn't even notice-

Butterscotch: <The little sister got abducted by some Wingull and the big sister chased her.>

Pianis: Why did you not tell me this before?

Butterscotch: <You didn't ask.>

Pianis: Well, this is just grand. I find one sibling, the other two run off. And I still don't have anything that could chase them.

Butterscotch: -shrugs-

-Pianis facepalms then returns to his game, where the wolf has now killed him-

Pianis: ...

Cinder: Bye then, I guess...

-Umbra walks back into the lab-

Umbra: Styx?

Styx: Yeah?

Umbra: I feel sorry for that Typhlosion... he's been cooped up in this lab most of his life. Considering all those years on Shadedrake, I understand how he feels.

Styx: Tell me about it. But how do we help him, if that's what we want to do?

Umbra: -notices an assistant- Wait... Excuse me, miss? Do you know where the person who runs this establishment is?

Lab Assistant: Oh? he's right over there! -points to Elm-

Elm: Oh? Um... Hello, there, sir. You need anything?

Umbra: Yes, actually. I'd like to ask about one of the Pokemon under your care...

Well, if you wanted to find a stone, you could try the Sinnoh Underground.

Muddy: -Facepalms-

Perhaps I shouldn't have said that.

-Pianis turns to Every-

Pianis: Hey, wait a sec. Why aren't you running off to rescue her? I mean, she's your girlfriend.

Fortis: The Underground? What's that?

Salamence: -surreptitiously passes Every some note cards-

Um...I wasn't really aware rescuing was going to be needed. What could happen? Also, Salamence is fluffy. Hug her.

Pianis: Well, someone needs to do something. I mean, Piano is responsible enough to take care of Fortis, but what if she doesn't find her?

Icicle: -is walking around on Pianis' keyboard, sending his character falling off a cliff-

Pianis: And the most annoying part about this is that I can't even follow her because I don't have any Flying mons.

It's this system of tunnels that are all over Sinnoh. You need an Underground Kit to access it...or a mon that's really good at digging, but I don't think you have one of those, not to mention excavation can be really dangerous.

Shadow: <Call her. With your phone.>

Pianis: ...I'm an idiot.

-Pianis gets out his Xtransceiver and dials Mezzo's number-

-Dreadwing has just crashed into one of the buildings in Sunyshore, causing Mezzo to drop her Xtransceiver-

-Mezzo, however, was rendered unconscious by the impact-
