-And departs for the portal along with Luke and the mons who accompanied us-

-En route to the portal, our aspects start to fade out-

"... Are you okay?"

<Teala: "I'm fine... It's just that... I wish that you hadn't seen that part of me...">

"Huh? She seemed fine to-"

<Teala: "The other one, Tracer...">

"Oh... Well... Would you like to talk about this later, Teala? I mean... You really are so much more than you give yourself credit for..."

<Teala: "... I... I am? But then why does it feel otherwise so often...?">

-Patting slowly and carefully-

"... I don't know... I just wish that you wouldn't have to feel that way..."

Fortree Arena

Call: "The paramedics should be here any minute."

<Nadia: "Oh, Tracer...">

< "Well... If you need a place to stay while your trainer's being looked after, we-">

-It is at this point that Teala and I regain consciousness-

"Ow... Did I hit something?"

<Teala: "Nngh... What happened?">

<Zoltan: "Tracer! You're okay!">

-And nuzzles me-

<Thibodaux: "You scared us for a bit. Especially that Ledian of yours...">

-A certain Druddigon is staring wistfully up at the stars-

<Zoltan: "Oh! Did Francis look at the stars with you before too? She said that the stars in the sky weren't very good tonight, but I think they're fine!">

-In a downcast tone-

<Teala: "... Hmm...">

<Zoltan: "... Are you okay?">

<Teala: "... Yeah, I'm fine... I just have a lot on my mind...">

<Zoltan: "But you sound so sad! Please don't be sad...">

<Teala: "I'll be fi- OH!">

-Is hugged by Zoltan-

<Teala: "Zoltan! You'll-">

-Pleadingly, looking at Teala-

<Zoltan: "Ow! ... Please?">

-Unsure what to make of being hugged by the young Aerodactyl-

-Which eventually dissolves into a small smile-

<Teala: "... Okay, Zoltan... You should probably get some sleep though...">

<Zoltan: "Aww... Won't you look at the stars with me? Just for a little longer?">

<Teala: "I guess it couldn't hurt...">

-And the two gaze out at the sky-

<Zoltan: "... Isn't it wonderful?">

Now remember, you need to make sure that the Pokeblocks come out correctly and that the center arrow doesn't miss the station arrows. Also, it works best when there's about four people working on it.

Casval: "After all's said and done, you'll still be special to me."

-Casval pulls Ryouma into a loose hug-

Casval: "Tonight...I'll stay with you as long as you want me to."

-Both close their eyes for a bit then turn back towards the moonlit sea-

Ryouma: <.....Rawr...>

Casval: "Yeah, it is nice tonight."

Rascal: <Well, at least we don't have to see anymore ghosts...>

Ghost of a Girl: *waves from a window* Come back soon!

Cheryl: W-well...that was an odd trip. But it was certainly nice to meet you and your Pokemon. *pets Jemma*

Cheryl: Hopefully, we can meet again one day. *smiles and bids him goodbye, heading off towards the south side of the city*

Rex: *has been at the Eterna Museum, learning about Legendaries and stuff; there is currently an exhibit about [Manaphy] with several Phione eggs for those who want them* Hmmm... *doesn't take an egg*

Goldenrod City, Rex's House

Faith: Oh, I see. How cute. *smiles at Copahue; notices Harriet at the door* Oh, hello. Would you like some snacks?

Lilycove Dept. Store, Very Near Past

Silent walks into the library holding the egg and talks to Sol. She asks to buy a book, but since the library and the building are about to close for the night they decide to wait until the next day.

Floating Present

Silent wakes up... somewhere, because something is biting his arm.

Sol: <...purrr~ Wake up!> — scratches.

"As if I hadn't enough with my RL cat... Wh-what's up?" Silent wakes up and yawns. Then looks at Sol, who is pawing him and holding the egg. Silent notices there are small [cracks] across the surface of the egg.

"...Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~!"

Sol: <That's what I said! :3>

Silent sends out some of his Pokémon for them to look togetger as another crack appears in the egg. Most of our Pokémon are happy, but [Dintel] looks concerned.

Goldenrod City, Present

Harriet coos and looks inside a bit angrily.

Harriet: <I-I'm not sure... Copahue! What are you doing in there?>

Shahinne hops from her nom and tries to pull Harriet's talon.

Shahinne: <Family of Rex! Minty lives here!>

Harriet thinks for a moment and, after tipping her "hat", hops into the house. Shahinne returns to her noms.

Harriet: <...Thanks.>

Susano: Hey, Umbra!

-Umbra only hears a bark, and so stares at the Samurott quizzically-

Lumos: He can only understand us Ghosts, Susano.

Susano: Really? I guess he's new to the J-Team, but... then how can he understand Ghosts?

Lumos: Well, his body's infused with Obscura, and he's constantly producing life-force...

Susano: -whiskers twitch- So the rumors are true? He's... Immortal?

Lumos: Yup, and he has Obscura powers to boot. Granted, they're limited to small, relatively weak, Shadow Claws and Shadow Balls, but still...

Susano: Cool! He's like Donny Poltergeist!

Lumos: Well, I guess if you want to compare him to a superhero, that's fine...

- Umbra overhears Lumos' comment -

Umbra: How am I a hero? 650 years and I've barely done anything...

Somewhere

Silent is sitting on the grass holding the egg, while most of the Pokémon are looking. More cracks appear on the egg, and the shell vibrates a little.

"...Something is rubbing against it."

Maekrite: <What is it? What is it?>

Finally, a whole section of the shell comes off, and a recognizable rattle can be seen rubbing against it. Then a purple body pushes against the egg, breaking it more and making its way out.

"...Awwwwwwwwww..."

Sol: <You're almost out, come on! Come to us~ :3>

Finally, the entire top quarter of the egg shatters, and a small Ekans slithers and stands out of the hole. It looks up at us in turn, hissing to all but Sol.

Maekrite -is hissed at: <Awwww, you're tough...>

   Jemma    -is hissed at: <You'll grow to be strong and    OBEY   , nya~>

Algira -is hissed at: <Hello little thing, I'll try not to intimidate you...>

Dintel -is hissed at, hisses back: <...>

Sol -is not hissed at: <Hello, welcome...>

Silent picks up the little Ekans, leaving Dintel and Sol to take care of the rest. Silent lifts the Ekans and checks it up, then smiles as the Pokémon curls around his wrist in an exploratory manner.

"Heh, you're cute..."

The Ekans hisses at Silent, then bites his arm.

"And you're hungry, awwww...."

Dintel, meanwhile, is sitting besides the former egg, saddened.

Dintel: <Mean Ekans... you broke the egg...>

Somewhere in Lilycove - Post Pokeringer

-Is conversing with another trainer-

Call: "You're sure that you'll be alright? I mean, abruptly passing out isn't the best sign..."

"I'm sure it'll be fine, and it wasn't that recently anyways. I must not be getting enough rest or something..."

-Aside-

<Speck: "What happened?">

<Willow: "Yeah, you might as well tell. It's not as if Call can understand us...">

<Teala: "Uh... Well...">

-One account of last night's mindscape later-

<Rawk Hawk: "... What.">

<Doppelganger!Nadia: "... Is this common for you or something?">

<Nadia: "We're recursive clones of each other, this isn't that out of the ordinary...">

Faith: Oh, Minty is elsewhere right now. But, I'm sure he'll be around sometime in the future. *offers Harriet and Copahue nuts as well*

Breezy: <Have you seen Yuki? :3> *floats around Harriet*

Orchid: *is disappointed Maekrite isn't around* <Rrrr...well, tell me about yourself then. :3> *claws at Copahue a bit playfully*

Dash: *peeks out at the birds from behind the couch*

Eterna City: Eterna Museum (Future)

Guide: Yes, Phione are considered non-Legendary Pokemon. They possess none of the signature abilities that [Manaphy] does despite their similar traits and behavioral patterns. We were fortunate enough to get these eggs from our own [Manaphy], donated to us for safety by a Pokemon Ranger. Incidentally, [Manaphy] eggs have a different coloration from Phione eggs.

Rex: *is taking notes* Hmm...

Phione Eggs: *stored in an incubator*

Hatched Phione: *swim around in a water tank*

Manaphy: *floats among the Phione, watching the people curiously; makes eye contact with Rex*

Rex: ...!

Manaphy: *waves* :3

Rex: *waves back, feeling a little confused*

Guide: Of course, due to [Manaphy's] migration patterns, we will inevitably have to release this little guy into the ocean soon. As such, you are fortunate enough to be able to catch a glimpse of it now. *continues speaking*

Lilycove - Future and after a diversion to La Rousse

-Turning around-

"Oh! Dr. Tagg!"

<Cleo: "... 'Tagg?' He's totally a secret agent buddy of yours, isn't he?">

-Sweatdrops, or does whatever equivalent a reptile would-

<Kat: "... Not quite, dear...">

<Andre: "... Wait, is he any good at training?">

<Francis: "You tell me.">

-Looking at Tagg's mons-

<Andre: "Uh... I think that's a yes...">

<Gauss: "... How did those two join you again?">

<Toothless: "It's a long story...">

<Nadia: "Andre joined us in La Rousse... As for Cleo...">

In La Rousse, some time earlier

-A certain Relicanth egg is hatching-

<Zoltan: "It's hatching! It's hatching! ... What are Relicanth like again?">

<Andre: "Are they any good at battling?">

<Nadia: "They're fish...">

<Teala: "Well... That would make the second prey mon that I'd have as a teammate...">

<Nadia: "Meh, Courtney doesn't count.">

<Toothless: "Oh come on... She'll probably get better with time... I hope...">

-The egg is now on the verge of hatching-

<Kat: "Well... I guess that it'll be fun to have another youngling on the team...">

<Francis: "Mmph... I guess...">

-And the egg cracks open, revealing a small Relicanth-

"Oh hey there... Let's get you int-"

<Cleo: "Hands off!">

"OW!"

-And is slapped in the face by Cleo's tail-

<Nadia: "... Yeah.">

<Toothless: "To be fair, everyone's a little awkward as a hatchling...">

<Doppelganger!Nadia: "It's that voice again... But why do I ony hear it whenever we're around Tracer and his mons?">

Call: "... Wait, who is this?"

"Oh. I'm not sure if you've met actually... This is Dr. Tagg... One of my colleagues from PEFE. Dr. Tagg, this is Call..."
