Hearing a mention of his girlfriend's name, Lake glances skywards, spotting her as well.

Rex: *shrugs* Well, either way, they wanted to go. Did you want to come with?

Kim: Actually, I think I'll hang around with them a while longer. I think I'm starting to make friends with some of them.

Rex: Oh, okay. If you say so. *hands her Pierce's ball* Here; I figured you'd want to hold onto him.

Pierce: *exits his ball suddenly* <Hey! Where are you going, Mister?> *hops onto Rex's head* <Take me too! :3>

Kim: Hmm...I think he'd rather stay with you, Rex. *places the ball into Rex's hands* Besides, I already have Aqua and Blossom. This way, we're even.

Lake begins to panic slightly, afraid at the direction that the conversation was about to take. If he wanted to avoid that, he would have to act fast.

The Feraligatr hesitates, feeling that the next words to come out of his mouth would really upset Nadia if she were there.

Lake blinks at the mention of the "strange place". Up until now, he had been lead to believe that what went on in there wasn't even canon...but if the inverse were true, he would probably have to be a bit more careful what he said and did in there from now on. As well as having to keep a closer eye on Basket. For obvious reasons..

Lake: <Oh...well, I think you're kinda' nice too.>

He smiles awkwardly.

<But you probably already knew that...>
