Yin: <Wake up! Wake up! We need to leave! They'll come bearing down on us at any moment!>

Forte: And can you tell your stupid Absol to shut up?

Felis: -to Claudandus- <I'm sorry. Did you want something from me?>

Lugia: <Okay, I'm ready to head back now.>

Lapras: <Alright, sweetie.>

-The Lapras makes a gesture to the escorting Pokémon, indicating that it was time to head back to the reef.-

Guard!Lanturn: <Finally!> -Gets nipped by the Huntail.- <OW! What was that for?!>

Guard!Crawdunt: <We're guarding the child of a God! You should feel honored to have such a- Wait, who's that?!>

-The Crawdunt points to the Feraligatr, who has swum into the middle of the path back to the reef (Or at least, the quickest way to it heading fowards, fish Pokémon being able to move three-dimensionally and all).-

Guard!Crawdunt: <Who's that? Who did he find out about this escort? The knowadge of the child is supposed to be a closely guarded secret!>

Guard!Lanturn: <Hmm. Maybe he's lost or something. I'll ask. Hey, Feraligatr! What are you doing here?>

Feraligatr: <...Um...No, can't chicken out now! I have to do this.> -Looks determined.- <...Hand over the Lugia, and no-one gets hurt.>

-The patrol Pokémon give each other odd looks, surprised that this Feraligatr had the gall to simply swim up to them and demand that they hand over the child of their God.-

Lugia: -Puzzled.- <Who's that Pokémon, Ms. Lapras? And what does he want me for?>

Lapras: -Worried.- <I...I don't know, sweetie. But you do remember what I taught you about strangers, don't you?>

Lugia: <About how you should never ever go off with a Pokémon you don't know?> -Nods.- <Yeah, I remember. I won't go off with him. Promise.>

Lapras: <That's a good mon.>

-Meanwhile, the Crawdunt sneers at the Feraligatr.-

Guard!Crawdunt: <What makes you think that we would expect to hand over the child of our God to a random Feraligatr? Honestly, did you honestly imagine that we would give him to you, of that you would take him from us?>

Feraligatr: -Looks worried.- <...Please, just give him to me. I don't want to make this any harder than it needs to be.>

Guard!Lanturn: -Rolls his eyes.- <Yeah, right. Like that's going to happen.>

Guard!Qwilfish: <Now, we suggest that you leave before we decide to drive you off. Go on, get out of here.>

-The Feraligatr lets out a long sigh. He didn't want to have to resort to taking the child by force...But there was no other choice.-

Feraligatr: <...Fine then.>

-Much to everymon's surprise, the Feraligatr suddenly begins to crackle and spark with Electricity.-

<"What the-?!">

<"How is he doing that?">

<"That's not normal!">

Feraligatr: <...I'm sorry...But I warned you.>

-The Feraligatr then discharges a bolt of electricity at a random Qwlifish, knocking it out in one hit, much to everymon's shock.-

Lugia: <EEK!>

Lapras: <But...Oh no...>

Guard!Crawdunt: <What...WHAT ARE YOU?!>

Feraligatr: <...A Delta.> -Smirks.- <And proud of it.>

"Alright, finally done."

-takes a step back to admire a day's effort, then pulls out a can of yellow spray paint to apply the emblems on it-

"Now that I think about it, why do I like painting my things red anyways? Hmm....Oh well."

-waking up-

-The sub pulls up at the Kumquat Island docks-

Susan: <Next time, see if there's anyone that needs a lift, I can't keep helping pedal every time you need to get somewhere...> -Recalled-

Shift: -Back to Ditto form- <No matter how much she needs it...> -Recalled also-

-I step out and look around-

Guard!Remoriad: <PUSH HIM BACK! DON'T LET HIM GET THE- AAAAAARRGGGHH!!!>

-Despite their best efforts, the escort Pokémon are fighting a losing battle against the so-called "Delta Feraligatr". Even the Laturn, who were immune to electric type attacks due to their Volt Abosrb ability, easily fell to the Water type's attacks.

In the midst of the chaos, the Lapras had managed to slip away from the Feraligatr with the now terrified Lugia in order to speak to him.-

Lugia: <MS. LAPRAS! Why's that Feraligatr attacking us?!> -Sniffs.- <I'm scared!>

Lapras: <Don't worry, little one...It's going to be fine.>

-Unfortunately, that wasn't strictly true, as their assailant had nearly taken the entire escort out. And it wouldn't be long until he came after them.

There was only one thing they could do.-

Lapras: <Quick, we need to get out of here.>

Lugia: <Where do we go? Back home?>

Lapras: <...I don't know. The only thing that matters is that we get as far away from that Feraligatr as possible. But...I'll do my best to keep you safe, okay?>

Lugia: -Sniffs.- <Okay...>

Lapras: <We don't have a lot of time, let's - AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!>

Lugia: <OH-NO!>

-The Feraligatr finishes shocking the Lapras, the entire escort apart from her now floating unconscious behind him.-

Feraligatr: <Look! I don't want this any more than you, so please! Give me the Lugia!>

Lapras: <...Not until you've gone through me, first.> -To Lugia.- <Swim, child!>

Lugia: <But->

Lapras: <Don't worry about me! Just go! Find help! Just don't let this Feraligatr catch you!>

Lugia: <...>

Lapras: <GO!>

-On the verge of tears, the young legendary swims away as fast as he can. Happy in the knowledge that she had brought him some time, at least, the Lapras turns back to the Feraligatr.-

Feraligatr: <Still sure that you don't want to run?>

Lapras: -Charges her own Thunderbolt.- <Totally sure.>

Feraligatr: <...A stupid choice.> -Cloaks himself in electricity.- <But a good one.>

-The two then clash, engaging in a fierce battle.-

-knock knock knock-

Forte: C'mon, sis! You can't just sleep all day!

-Yin hides under Mezzo's bed-

Antique Shop Owner — Totally, yes. It's an old but reliable map, but it shows some of the migration routes and what kind of Pokémon you can find in each island.

I've been using that a a reference the whole time.

I was planning on going to Mikan or Navel since their gyms sound interesting, but they're pretty far away...

Well, I'm going to Kumquat since it's the nearest Orange league gym.

I was just thinking that it'd be handy to get it linked here, I didn't recall if it was linked to before; plus, it's a really nifty map and I like the style and all, sans the shoehorned Pikachu. Also, dinnertime

It might be fun to try it again. I wonder if the guys out here are stronger than Green/Blue/Gary (whatever the name for him is in this canon).
