Hey all. I've been playing my Wii a bit too much so my mom took it. Bit my fault there, but now I have more incentive to return to posting regularly. I can assume we're still in the Gold Conference Arc still?

-Helios takes some damage-

Wait a second, Blaziken don't learn Night Slash normally, and Flare's normally a lot more vocal in combat.

Helios, use Bug Buzz!

Helios: <Got it!>

-Helios' six wings beat profusely as he sends out sound waves at Flare-

Yeah, still at the Gold Conference. It'll be over soon though, so don't worry.

Flare: <GAAAAAHHHHH!!!>

-Flare gets buffeted by the sound waves. Oddly, this causes her to distort and flicker like a broken televiosn for a few seconds.-

Oh dear.

-The distortion stops, leaving a familliar looking Zoroark in Flare's place.-

Phantom: <...Heh.> -Smirks.- <Tricked you.>

Well we've got nothing to hide now, Phantom. Focus Blast!

-Phantom concentrates, gathers a huge ball of Aura Energy in her paws, then hurls it at Helios.-

Rufus: <Heh. You got your wish, kids- the chicken's gone!>

Pankaja: <WHOOA, what was THAT!?>

Abigail: <It's like that Zorua from that movie that pretended to be a princess!>

Basket: <Zoroark is the evolved form of Zorua, yes.>

Cephas: <This is exciting... Tagg figured out the trick real fast! Wait, Basket is rooting for Luke, maybe I shouldn't be say... but Tangent is rooting for Tagg, but...>

You'd think so wouldn't you, Phantom? Dodge it Helios!

-Helios manages to dodge the Focus Blast-

Now use Bug Buzz again!

-Helios sends out more sound waves at Phantom-

-Phantom takes the Bug Buzz again, now down to about 25% health.-

-Recalls Phantom.-

-Lake drops to all fours and enters the battlefield, he then cloaks himself in water and charges at Helios.-

Abigail: <GO LAKE!> -shoots an Ice Beam in the air-

Basket: <hmm... a switchout this early... Lake needs to turn the tide back.>

-Helios is brought down to half health, but activates Flame Body as he gets hit-

Helios: -Heats up to dry himself off- <I hate being wet.>

-Recalls Helios-

Go Eelektross!

-Eelektross appears-

Use Wild Charge!

-Eelektross cloaks himself in electricity and launches himself at Lake-

-Eelektross does a bunch of flips before slamming Flare with one of his arms-

I haven't been here in a while. Oh well...If I want to be more dependable, I need to step up my game. Luke beat Red, so that's a good goal. My team is...Gyarados, Dodrio, Pikachu, Carracosta, Zoroark, and Joy. Thus, let's try to specialize my Pokemon to whatever they do best.

-Starts EV grinding...Whatever that means.-

I do know what EV grinding is, just the Pokemon world doesn't know of it.

Flare: <AAAHHHH!!!>

-Flare hits the floor, now at 55% health, rolling to avoid hyrting herself.-

Flare: <Ooh, you are really annoying.>

Blaze Kick him, Flare!

-Flare tries to kick Eelektross again, this time with a flaming foot.-

-Flare suddenly bursts into flames.-

-Flare kicks Eelektross with a furiously burning foot at close range.-

-In the stands, as Flare gets hit-
