Kim: (smiles) "Excellent. Then I will go and get changed as soon as possible." (beat, she turns to Ozzy) "Ozzy?"

Ozzy: <Yes, Kimberly?>

Kim: (in a whisper) "I saw what the challenge looked like on the jumbotron, and I'm going to need the help of you and Joel in order to defeat it."

Ozzy: <Oh? What do you mean by that?>

Kim: (smirks, leaves for the changing room) "You'll see."

(And with that said, she enters the room. From outside, Geddy turns to face Ozzy and Peechee, unaware of what has occurred. Kaylan and Joel, meanwhile, run up to Geddy, having not said anything in the wake of their shock regarding Ian's anger and Kim's panic.)

Geddy: <Anyways... you evolved?!>

Ozzy: <Indeed I did.>

Joel: <Holy moley! I was goin' to say somethin' at the Gym Battle, but Ian was more important! How the heck did that happen?!>

Kaylan: <I'm sorry that I missed it...>

Ozzy: <How did it happen? Long story short, we went to another dimension, mutant Pokemon attacked a city, I proceeded to defend that city to save a bunch of innocent people and evolved into a Corax vulgaris— common name "Corvisquire"— in the process.>

Geddy: <Woah!>

Kaylan: <Wait a second, was this that Ikoria place?!>

Ozzy: <Indeed.>

Joel: <Oh, yeah... Ikoria! I missed that part!>

Geddy: <Also...> (He turns to Peechee.) <Your name is Peechee, right?>

Peechee: <Nay— oh, eemya! Yes, it is. What's yours?>

Geddy: <Geddy.>

Peechee: <"Geddy"...? That's a strange eemya... but I kopat it!>

Geddy: <"Kopat"?>

Joel, Kaylan: <Li ke.>

Geddy: <Oh. Well, thanks. Ever heard of Geddy Lee?>

Peechee: <No.>

Geddy: <You should go listen to him. He's the lead singer and bassist of this band called Rush, and they are->

(The door to the changing room suddenly opens, and Kim steps out, now dressed in her Gym uniform, with her lab coat over top of it. She turns to look down at her Pokemon.)

Kim: "Alright, I am ready." (She turns to Ozzy and Joel.) "Ozzy, Joel? Are you two set for the challenge?"

Ozzy: <Indeed!>

Joel: <Mmmm-hmmmmm.>

Kim: "Kaylan, are you ready for the battle?"

Kaylan: <You bet I am!>

Kim: "Very well, then."

(With that said, she returns Geddy and Peechee, and she, Joel, Kaylan, and Ozzy step onto the pitch for the Gym Challenge Puzzle.)

Savai Borderland, Ikoria, Day 2

(Kim notices the Corvisquire that is out and turns to Ozzy.)

Kim: "Well, Ozzy... I think you've had enough battling for now." (She takes out his PokeBall and returns him.) "Besides... there's someone else who I haven't used in battle for quite a while."

(With that said, she takes out a PokeBall, and...)

Kim: "Red alert, Paul!"

(In a flash, the Butterfree emerges from his PokeBall and looks around.)

Paul: <Well, this is odd; where in the world are we?>

Kim: "Ikoria."

Paul: <Oh, right, this must be that dimension you were talking about.> (He notices the giant Pokemon ahead.) <Who are those?>

Kim: "Giant Pokemon."

Paul: <Giant Pokemon? Oh, they'll be easy to defeat. Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokemon exist, you know, they can be pretty tough to handle...>

Murphy: We just loaded it in. Gimme the file and I'll run it through. It usually takes a while because PEFE's systems are often running some other important thing that hogs the bandwidth. Let's see how long this one takes.

"Try using some of the Ram from Astronav, we got loads to spare," Bishop noted.

The network data cleared up a bit, "Shouldn't be more than a nanosecond..."

And before the two pories was a update on a turncoat whistleblower on the Remnant Factions, and his current status in a private prison called "the Wall".

-Ian sets his Xtransceiver to record and follows Kim to the puzzle, beckoning Evelyn to follow.-

Hulbury Stadium Gym Challenge Puzzle Room

(Kim enters the Gym Challenge puzzle room and looks around at it for a few minutes, trying to figure out what to do. She eventually realizes that all the pipes are different colors, and that said pipes correspond to different colored switches. In a matter of seconds, she turns to Ozzy and Joel, having figured it out.)

Kim: "Ah. Okay, I think I see what we have to do here." (She turns to Ian.) "But just in case I'm wrong... what do we have to do?"

Hulbury Stadium, Gym Challenge Puzzle Room

Me: -behind the camera- You have to press the switches and clear the path to the door over there.

-Ian points to the door, which is blurred by the waterfalls coming from the three blue pipes above the staircase.-

Murphy: Oh. The Wall. Pris and Silas have got to see this. See, from what we've mined before, we kept getting refs to this place called the Wall. We never got coordinates, though, but it's alluded to a lot. We suspect that Tonio or any of the high-profile Pokefutures affiliates might be tied to it, but so far we haven't pieced together much other that what it is and who usually ends up there.

Circhester, past

Jess: Phew, it worked. Well, see you guys around I guess? I need to go check on the rest of my pokemon.

Bishop frowned a bit, "Alright, to realspace."

Bishop popped out of the computer systems, "Captain, Lieutenant, we have an update. Pokefutures is on the move, we have located a turncoat of theirs being held in a Prison called, "The Wall"."

Silas stopped, and leaned back, "Wall... Wall... The [Siberian] Supermax that's a private prison owned by one Vladimir Dochevsky?"

Bishop blinked, "Captain?"

"I had did some research on it a few months ago, needed to see if it was a Hunter's location."

Murphy: Too many entries that could've matched. We've only recently deciphered references to a Wall as some sort of holding facility and even that had several matches. We started with the less conspicuous ones. Though in hindsight, everything seems to add up now. You wouldn't believe who Vladimir Dochevsky's been rubbing elbows with?

Priscilla: Dr. Tonio?

Murphy: Pffft. No. A few executives from some incubator company in Angela and [Dubai]. Come and have a triple scoop at this.

In a nearby chip shop, a flickering young blond man is eating a disproportionate amount of chips and fried foods out of a large pizza box. This was the second one he's eating, and he's apparently ordering more.

Phineas: When I first found about your metabolism, I knew a creature like Zapdos would have tremendous energy needs. But for the life of me I didn't expect you to eat that many calories just to use electricity. It never ceases to be really surprising.

Upton: After 24 years, you're still not used to it.

Phineas: You're human-shaped. I expected that the human part of you would've been more energy efficient.

Upton: You folks vastly overestimate human abilities.

Phineas: And speaking of human-shaped. That fellow over there might need some assistance. You want to try that whole everyday hero stunt, Taser-Man.

Upton: Why not? Okay, which of the fam can we trust with the food while we go check out what's wrong?

Phineas: I'd say Tanit.

Upton: Good choice.

Upton releases a Sudowoodo and instructs her to guard the pizza boxes full of potatoes and fried things. He then moves toward Mog and her onion duck.

Silas tapped a finger to his chin, "It's unlikely that Mr. Dochevesky would even know about Pokefutures, the less knowledgeable your warden is the easier it is to let him go. Still this man has a history and has only avoided trouble due to funds and politics."

He placed his hands behind his head, attack vectors, plans, calculations spilling out before him in his mind, "I'll need to sort this out, plan out how we're going to get in. It may come down to force, what's the timeline on the transfer?"

"Estimates say a week, Captain," Bishop responded.

Roxy whistled, "Damn you got a lot to do."

"That I do, Alice and I will need to talk. Pris we're gonna have to cut the filing short today, I'm going to be busy."

Priscilla: Agreed. If our Warden was deep in Pokefutures' pockets, it's through several fronts, though it's uncertain what. And just in time. I'm expected to do our quarterly report and hopefully PEFE didn't do anything like incur a major loss like what happened in April. It was minor and no lives were lost, but it's still a little less money for the "Sue Paul Macraul" fund.

Murphy: The Doc would be so disappointed. Will need to countercheck all this guy's affiliates, though.

Priscilla: Wouldn't be surprised if one of them was a Pokefutures front "without his knowledge." Plausible deniability and all that.

Murphy: It's been a pleasure, Bish.

Priscilla: Send my regards to Alice and keep me posted.

-By staggering coincidence, it is at about this time that there's a sharp knock on the door.-

Alice: Greetings. I'm not interrupting anything, am I?

Roxy heads over and gives Alice a hug, "Nah, good timing by the by. Guess what just hit our fearless leader?"

Judging by her comments, and the fingers steepled pose Silas was making in the corner, it was pretty clear.

Violet: Ello there! Sorry 'bout that, I'm terrible with names.

-Violet eyes the mysterious blue robe, but decides to not comment.-

Violet: So, eeerm, what brings you here?

-Alice appears to be slightly taken aback by the hug, but quickly returns the gesture, holding Roxy tight whilst smiling brightly at Silas.-

Alice: Alas, I believe it would be inappropriate of me to speculate right now. Nevertheless, congratulations to the both of you. I know I said as much over the phone, but some things need to be said in person. I trust you're well, Pris?

Priscilla: Oh, I've been doing okay. A bit busy sometimes but okay.

Murphy: She's lying through her teeth. She's seen this recent spike in smuggler activity and can't seem to put the screws on it.

Priscilla: Well, that has been keeping me up all night. Those elite Hunter's Guild bastards are a slippery bunch.

Murphy: You'd be pleased to know that their big beast ball heist was interrupted by some no-name unidentified do-gooder. Sphinx just lost billions because a kid got lucky.

Priscilla: Karma, no doubt. How about you, Alice? Is the cop still giving you a hard time at the league?

Mog: That is a. Magnificent platter you have there.

-the Farfetch'd snickers-

-The person raises an eyebrow-

Person: I... Live here? Though I've been meaning to leave. Looking for my big break.

Roxy blinked, "Damn really?"

"Gonna need to do something about the rise in young superheroes," Silas commented, still deep in thought, "Also Alice, thank you."

Roxy smiled, "Yes, thank you, I'm looking forward to it myself."

Circhester 1

Violet: Ehehe... Oops. I guess it's been a while since I've been back here for a reasonable length of time. Wait, what do you mean by a big break?

Hulbury Stadium Gym Challenge Puzzle Room

Kim: "Yep. I thought so. There's a pattern here regarding the switches and pipes here, I know it. But I'm not willing to get my suit wet." (She turns to Joel and Ozzy.) "Ozzy, you fly into the air and scan the area."

(Ozzy nods, then flies up into the air. Kim, meanwhile, turns her attention to the pipes in front of her. There is a blue grate, which has no water pouring down on it, two red grates, one of which does not have water pouring down on it and another which does, and a yellow grate, which does not have any water pouring down on it. There is also a red switch and a yellow switch. Kim scans the area, nods, and then turns to Joel.)

Kim: "Joel, step on the empty red grate."

Joel: <Will do!>

(Joel runs over to the empty red grate. Kim, meanwhile, walks up to the red switch in front of her and presses the button. In a matter of mere seconds, the water stops flowing from the original pipe and flows down onto the grate that Joel is standing on. Joel doesn't even mind it, standing there as mellow as ever.)

Joel: <Kim! I think my Water Absorb's workin'!>

Kim: "Excellent." (She turns to the sky.) "Ozzy?"

(Ozzy scans the sky— and suddenly notices the empty yellow pipes in front of him. His eyes dart from the empty yellow pipes to the ones flowing with water— and then notices the yellow switch.)

Ozzy: <Press the yellow switch; you'll clear that grate!>

(Kim nods, and runs forward on the now-clear red grate to the yellow switch. She presses it, and- as Ozzy predicted- the water stops flowing from the yellow pipe on her section and starts flowing from another yellow pipe ahead of her. Kim looks back towards the red pipe and the red switch, and realizes what she needs to do. She runs back towards the red switch, and all of a sudden the water stops flowing onto the grate that Joel was on and starts flowing on the original red grate, allowing for a clear path to the stairs and the second section of the Gym Puzzle. Kim smiles, realizing her plan worked, and Joel steps forward in front of Kim, not even the least bit wet.)

Joel: <Hoo-boy! That was exhilarating, let me tell ya! Alright, looks like the path's clear for the stairs.>

Kim: "Indeed it is. Alright, Ozzy, Joel, follow me."

(Joel and Ozzy nod, and follow Kim to the next section of the puzzle as she climbs up the stairs.)
