With Travis leading the S³ the three Pokémon ran all over the place, looking at the hieroglyphs, seemingly not even registering the water - more specifically the lack of it. As well, they went right by the torches happily, all of them obviously having a great time.

Daydre looks around, just a little bored. Amid the sea of J-teamers, she catches sight of someone in a slightly fancier than average uniform. It's mostly pastel pink and purple, and she seems to have donned a cape over it.

Wait, are we allowed to have capes? She thinks, being entirely unaware of what the former champion used to wear.

Motostoke Stadium- Opening Ceremony

Kim: (thinking to herself) Alright, then... this should be good. Let's see... Elton can go up against Milo, Kaylan against Nessa, Geddy and Freddie against Kabu, but as for Alister... Hm... I don't have any Ghost-types or Dark-types...yet...

(She is suddenly broken out of her thoughts when she sees dozens of people standing on the pitch. Kim promptly smiles and turns to Ian and Evelyn.)

Kim: "Well, then. Shall we?"

Grass type, gonna be painful for James but Acolyte might have a shot. Water, decent prospects around the boar. We've got fire easily. I've got the coverage to handle either Bea or Allister... How am I on fairy..?

-She sighs softly and glances at her fellow competitors-

Leon: -Gesturing between both sides- We have our Gym Leaders, and we have our challengers. Among them I see members of the J-Team, so I'm sure this year's League Challenge will be even more exciting! Together, we'll show the true strength of Galar's trainers! Will our challengers make it through, or will our Gym Leaders bring an end to their ambitions here? Who knows?

"I needed to hear that, thanks. Just kind of bouncing around the idea of who to bring. Maybe I shouldn't be thinking yet, since I'd need to ask and wait for answers. I can safely say Minerva won't get involved, though."

-Ian thinks to himself about his team...-

Me: So... a good deal of my Pokémon... namely, Oshawittle, Ritchie, Mothra, Hanuman and Yuki have coverage against Grass-types, so they'd be my best bet for Milo... Raru, Piku-chan and Piper would have an advantage over Nessa's Water-types... Oshawittle, Totoro and Ritchie would naturally have a good chance against Kabu's Fire-types... Then again, Hanuman does have Dig, so he could be viable as well... For Bea and Allister, I think I've got a decent standing against them, given that Mothra can use Psychic attacks against Bea's Fighting-types... Not to mention Yuki and Miyako being Ghost-types and having an advantage against Allister's Ghost-types... Then again... there is ONE Pokémon who can gain an advantage against BOTH trainers... Raru. He can use both Psychic AND Shadow Sneak. I can always depend on Piku-chan's Iron Tail for an advantage against Bede's Fairy-types. Piku-chan would be most viable against Gordie and Melony's Rock and Ice types respectively, but I can't count out any of my other Pokémon just yet... Given that Oshawittle, Ritchie, Raru (with his Magical Leaf) and Hanuman with Dig can stand up to Gordie... As for Melony, Hanuman and Mothra can also do really well on the field of battle. Marnie uses    Dark-types   , so I'll need to mix things up a bit, seeing as I don't necessarily have a Pokémon with a zettai^Translation absolute advantage over them... And as for Raihan... Ooh... Raihan... Raihan uses Dragon-types, meaning Yuki, Oshawittle and Raru would be the best choices in this matter, but seeing as he's going to be the final Gym Leader, I won't hold anything back and I'm gonna just do whatever! I know it sounds foolhardy and hot-headed, but hey... millions of fans are going to be watching... and I'm sure my mother will be, too... So against Raihan, and all the other Gym Leaders, for the millions of fans out there... I'm gonna put on a show for them!

-Evelyn thinks to herself about her team...-

Evelyn: Alright, Evelyn... Everyone will be watching your performance, so make sure it is high-class and epic! So what if all the Pokémon on your team are Psychic-types? You're Evelyn Sapphira Promeneau, and you are going to do great! Besides, you're not alone in this at all! You have not only your Pokémon by your side, you also have a friend in Ian! I know you'll be great!

Forte: Uh... okay.

Noelle: Oh! He did the pose!

Noelle: The speen pose! It's the one I evolved Wintergreen with, remember?

Well if there's one thing a special J-Team dispensation for a League allows, it's flexibility on what team you use. Heck, you might find some new friends out in the field to integrate into the team.

Upon /Duck/'s arrival, Silas nearly falls over, it's impressive how shocked he can look despite his facial expression and tone never changing.

"Oh, hello Duck. Good to see you again," Silas responded.

"Pories are always welcome on our journeys," Roxy noted.

Silas also took note of Ian and Evelyn arriving, "Huh, this is a bit different."

Roxy smirked, "What were you hoping for the more usual crowd?"

"Kinda."

Roxy gave a smug grin, "Aaaaw, you and Shaun are friends after all," she said as sweetly mockingly as possible.

Silas shot her a look, before looking over to Ian, "Did you go to the opening ceremonies? How were they?"

He knew in his gut there would be more arrivals, so he decided to make idle conversation while waiting.
