Me: -smiles- For Ritchie Blackmore! A key member of [Rainbow], [Deep Purple], and my favorite band, [Blackmore's Night]! I thought it would fit for the little guy...

Kim: (facepalms) “[Deep Purple]! How could I forget?!”

Dio: <Wait... [Deep Purple] as in...>

(He promptly pulls out a hammerspace guitar and plays the opening notes of “Smoke on the Water.”)

Ritchie: <You got it!>

Prof. Rowan’s Lab

Kim: (smiles) “Anyways... thank you for the Pokémon, Professor, but now I believe we must be going. My next stop is Alola, and if there’s one thing I want to do there first... it’s to find out more about my new Pokémon.”

Professor Rowan's Lab

Prof. Rowan: Very well. I shall see to it that I don't hinder your journey.

Me: Thank you, Professor. Much appreciated.

Ritchie: <'Til we meet again, Professor.>

Hanuman: <See ya 'round.>

(They promptly leave.

Kim: “Alright, then.” (she takes out her notebook) “Next stop— Alola.” (turns to Evelyn) “Evelyn, I’ll need Axon back out, please.”

Dio: <Alola?! What are we going to do there?>

Sinatra: <I dunno, but I’m suddenly itchin’ for a battle with Kaylan.>

Kaylan: (slightly startled) <You sure?>

Sinatra: <Course I’m sure! What, ya think I’m not?>

(And at that moment, Paul suddenly notices something lying on the ground and looks ahead.)

Paul: <Hey, Kim... what’s this?>

(He flies up to the item and drops it into Kim’s hand. It appears to be a small fang. Upon seeing it, Kim gasps in shock.)

Kim: (stunned) “Is that... is that a Razor Fang?!”

-Evelyn throws a Poké Ball into the air and out comes Axon-

Axon: <Hail and well me->

-Axon jumps backwards in surprise-

Axon: <Is that a Razor Fang?!>

Me: It looks like one...

Piku-chan: <It probably is...>

Ritchie: <The only way we'll know for sure is when night falls...>

Hanuman: <Too right, pal-o-mine!>

Dio: (gasp) <You’re saying I can evolve into a Gliscor?! Oh...! This is so exciting! My old Trainer never thought about evolving me!>

Kaylan: (pauses) <“Old Trainer...?”>

Me: It's a long story, Kaylan... For Dio, it was a long and painful story...

Kaylan: (blinks) <Well, what happened?>

Dio: (sadly) <I-it’s too painful.>

Kaylan: (hops down from Kim’s arms and nuzzles Dio) <Come on... you can tell me...>

Dio: (looks away)

Kim: “...Dio’s Trainer abused him, neglected him, and told him he was insane because he couldn’t fly and because he had a weird battling style.”

(Kaylan gasps in horror.)

Kaylan: (sympathetic) <That’s awful!> (runs up to Dio and “hugs” him)

Dio: <I know...>

Kaylan: <Good thing you’re with Kim now...>

Dio: (smiles) <Yeah... good thing...>

Evelyn: Now, where is it that you want to go, Kim?

Sandgem Town

Kim: “Alola.”

Sandgem Town

Evelyn: Axon... Teleport, if you please?

Axon: <As you wish...>

-Axon's eyes glow a bright blue as he casts a psychic energy circle around the group before being warped to the Alola Region as a blue flash of light fills the room, shooting into the air-

-BWEEEEE~!-

Alola, Iki Town

-BWEEEEE~!-

-A psychic circle forms in the square of Iki Town and a blue beam of light shoots into the air and when it dies down, Ian, Axon, Kim and Evelyn re-appear.-

Kim: (smiles) "Thank you, Axon. And now..."

(She pockets the Razor Fang, then reaches inside her bag and takes out her Pokedex, which she holds in front of Kaylan. Instantly, information appears on screen:)

NICKNAME: Kaylan

NATURE: Gentle

MOVESET: Razor Leaf, Absorb, Protect, Sunny Day

Kim: (puts the Pokedex away) "He knows Protect? Interesting. Rowan must have had some T Ms on board..."

Kaylan: <He sure did!>

Kim: "Anyways... now that we're in Alola, I believe my next order of business will be to see if I can't find a Popplio..."

Sinatra: (approaches her, laughing) <No, it ain't. Yer next order of business will be to get Kaylan and I into a battle!>

Kim: (blinks) "You want to battle Kaylan?"

Sinatra: <Of course I do! You've never battled with me before, have ya?>

Kim: "No. I haven't." (then she suddenly smirks) "But I suppose it would be good practice. Very we-" (she pauses) "Wait a minute. Kaylan and you are both on my team. I can't control two Pokemon at once..."

Iki Town

Me: I know! We can battle with our new Pokémon friends Battle Royal Style!

Evelyn: That sounds like an excellent idea! Kim, what do you think?

Iki Town

Kim: (smiles) "Ah, yes. Battle Royal. I've heard of those. Very well, then."

Sinatra: <So long as I'm in on it, too!>

(Eventually, after a few moments of waiting, an announcement suddenly comes over the intercom.)

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has finally arrived! It's officially time for a three-way BATTLE ROYALE~!

(the audience bursts into cheers and applause)

Kim: (smirks) "Well, this is it."

Sinatra: <Wish us luck!>

Paul: <Bye!>

(And with that, Kim, Sinatra, and Kaylan enter)

Me: Well, Evelyn... Let's do this.

Evelyn: You're on!

Ritchie: <Piku-chan... Will you be there to cheer for me?>

Piku-chan: <Wouldn't be much of a friend if I didn't.>

Hanuman: <Alright, Evelyn... LET'S GET READY TO RUUUUUUUMBLLLLLE!!!>
