Silversmith heard Gwen's comment and was reminded of what they'd achieved regardless of the loss.

He took a drink from his water bottle. He didn't realize he was also thirsty, and the alleviation of thirst relaxed him. He wasn't paying paranoid attention to all members present. This was for the best.

Reynard: We don't have to. We can move on toward another heist, but that's gonna be a doozie until we find where that stronso and what they have for defenses we'd have to wait it out. And it's probably more than likely that we'd have to get more senior members of the J-Team to go after them.

Reynard: I don't necessarily mean me and maybe the Ghost Lord. I mean, I get that he's a senior member but I don't mean that in an "only old people could" sense. I mean, like, it's a higher-up sort of thing now and we have to wait for their cue. Plus if I stay here for too long my sons will ground me for life. That'd be the worst 6-14 months.

Ritchie: Gavin, put your grandfather on the phone right this instant. He's grounded for life! We'll arrange the residency papers in Unova for him. Also, tell him that the Rocket grunt got the city council position back here in North Mandarin.

Reynard: He's this historical figure who used to rule over the land of Ransei from what I remember; the history books were kind of glossing over that bit back when I was a boy and it certainly didn't help that they focused on how Il Douche was our savior or something. But yeah, apparently, he didn't die and now he hangs out with the J-Team, or so that's what I picked up from the Stormchaser.

Des had been quiet up until this point. He hadn't even eaten a piece of pizza.

"The Ghost Lord was a feudal lord of the Ransei region who hundreds of years ago tried to tap into the aura spectrum. He then got stuck under a rock or something and reemerged a couple years ago. He's much nicer now. Goes by Umbra or Joseph Nox. He's exceptionally powerful."

"Not sure. Might have something to do with his time traveling Arcanine girlfriend that was also a Volcarona."

Reynard: Now that eludes me. Pretty sure we never got that far. Alto Mare's textbooks were crap during Il Douche's reign. That's the thing about dictatorships; they hate book learning unless the confounded degenerate wrote the book himself.
