A grandfatherly old man approaches Silversmith. He may look like an [Italian] version of the one fellow with a muk in the cafe a few weeks back.

Grandpa Reynard: I'm sensing weird phenomena like this is all new to you. I feel you there. Some pf this is still new to me but if you've lived as long as I have this'll hardly be the scariest thing ever. Reynard Albright, by the way.

IDPD Private Billy: The credits are transferable and the clowning program has dozens of benefits. Also, did you know that if you become a clown today, your son will become a superhero?

A few clown jocks walk past them. For some reason they are a thing.

Winter: Huh. Yeah, I heard a whole lotta drama went down while I was out in the Badlands training and meditating. So, uh, like I said earlier... y'all got a spare room? I, uh, don't exactly have any place to stay in town...

Silversmith decided to assuage his fears with some politeness and procedure.

Silversmith: "Greetings, Mr. Albright. I apologize, but I believe an incurable condition is about as scary as things go. Thank you regardless."

He waited for the crowd to dissipate, keeping a wary eye on everyone, flinching if anyone walked near.

-Derek is setting up for a livestream.-

Derek: What's up guys, shiny hunter Derek here! Today we are at route 11 here in the Kanto region! Thank you so much for suggesting that we use Midnights illusions to be less noticable, we'll be doing that today. Go! Midnight!

-A Zoroark comes out of their pokeball.-

Derek: And now, we shall become... A bush!

-Midnight uses his illusion ability so that there is now a mysterious talking bush to the side of the path that may be interacted with.-

Kanto Route 11

Two humans walked along the path, the dude with a Zorua on his shoulder and the lady with a Fennekin on hers.

They both remained silent as the two foxes talked to each other about nothing in particular before the Zorua's ear flicked in the direction of the illusory bush.

She leaped down and pushed on the foliage experimentally, recognizing it as an illusion. The humans paused and looked at the Zorua, but said nothing.

Reversal Mountain

Colton, Kazuma and Helmsman aimed a Dark Pulse Orbitar, Cold Blood and Category 5, respectively, at the Megabug, but did not fire.

-Midnight notices the Zorua.-

Midnight: <Welp. That disguise was short lived.>

-Ludmilla, having finally thrown her constantly-buzzing phone down the nearby elevator (where it was caught by Doomsday, who put it safely down on a pile of silkpaper), settles down for another attempt at meditation.-

-After a moment of deep breathing, she goes down...-

-And down...-

-And down...-

-And down...-

-And even further down than she had ever gone before.-

-The last thought of mild lucidity she had was that the phone must have disrupted her more than she thought as her consciousness seems to slip through a metaphorical storm drain.-

-Ludmilla wakes(?) in a forest, vibrant and bright. She takes a moment to gather her senses.-

-She's surrounded by tall, towering, vibrantly-colored trees, tie-dyed in every color of the rainbow. Some are red with blue stripes, some are lime green streaked in purple. Instead of the sound of birds or other Pokemon, quiet but excited whispering can be heard. Upon looking skyward, shaped clouds drift across the sky as the sun smiles down.-

-Like, literally smiling.-

-It's got sunglasses, too.-

Ludmilla: ... Did I... fall into a coloring book...?

???: Nah, man.

-Ludmilla jumps. Behind her stands a massive green tree, an oddly branched eucalyptus tree, it's branches filled with knickknacks and baubles of the same color. Reclining on one of the branches is a young woman, in green, wearing a pair of green sunglasses.-

???: You just fell into my little corner of this here mindscape.

Ludmilla: Oh, huh. Well, uh, hello there, um...?

???: Oh, just call me Green. I represent mellowness.

-Ludmilla tilts her head.-

Ludmilla: Mellowness?

Green: The emotion you feel when you don't have anywhere you need to be, when you're bundled up in bed on your day off and you're just... chilling. I'm what you call a lazy day philosopher.

Ludmilla: I didn't know that mellowness was an emotion.

Green: It is once you recognize it as one. That's the thing about emotions, you see: if you can put a name to them, exercise with them, get a feel for them, you can recognize them and take advantage of them, rather than the other way around.

-Ludmilla tilts her head.-

Ludmilla: Oh. Huh.

Green: ... Tell you what. Since you seem pretty nice, I'll go ahead and show you around.

Ludmilla: Wait, really? Even though I just... kinda showed up here?

Green: Yep. You seem like you've got some emotions to sort through yourself, and I'm a sucker for teaching.

-The green maiden drops down from her branch, grabbing a green juice box from a branch on the way down, and walks over to Ludmilla before wrapping her arm around her shoulder. She leads Ludmilla in a seemingly random direction.-

Green: You see all these other trees, with the mixed colors?

Ludmilla: Uh, yeah?

Green: These are all gestalt memories. That pretty much means that they're stuff that happened that didn't quite fit in one emotion or another. It'll make more sense when we see my counterparts.

Ludmilla: How many of you are there?

Green: There are about ten of us. There's an eleventh emotion, but nobody represents that one. You'll see why when we get there. But for now...

-The girls come upon a yellow tree, what Ludmilla would guess as a cottonwood, bark curling like laughter and yellow knickknacks hanging from the branches, just like Green's tree.-

Green: This here's Yellow's tree. She represents happiness.

Ludmilla: Just happiness?

Green: Yep. Just happiness. She doesn't look like she's around, but she'd be all aflutter about having visitors.

Ludmilla: I thought happiness was a part of love.

Green: Now that's a dangerous assumption to make. Love and happiness do go hand in hand, sure, but love and sadness can just as well. Love is a funny emotion. In a weird way, not a haha way. That's all happiness. Funny, enjoyable, engaging, that's all happiness. I wonder where she wandered off to. Next stop is gonna be a bit more different.

-They wander off. On the way to the next tree, the sun takes off his sunglasses and winks before slipping them back on.-

Ludmilla: So, uh, what's up with the sun?

Green: Oh, that's just the general mood. Sunglasses is the default, but when he puts on different eyewear things go different ways. Anyway, here we are.

-The next tree was a vibrant orange cypress, adorned with orange ornaments. A weird laughter could be heard as the duo approached.-

Green: This is Orange's tree, she represents wackiness. When you just need something to break monotony. She's almost, but not quite, my opposite - mellowness is a comfortable, easy feeling, but wackiness usually comes up when comfort starts to creep into boredom. Since I'm up and around, she's asleep right now, but occasionally we get together, like during long trips when you can't really do much other than sit in your seat and try and do something to pass the time while Dad or Mom are at the wheel.

Ludmilla: Oh. I think I get that now.

Green: Good. This next one I'm a bit less friendly with, since she's pretty much the other side of my coin.
