Pewter Gym, VS Brock (Days ago...)

Me: You can do this, Oshawittle! Use Razor Shell!

-Oshawittle takes his scalchop in hand, draws his sword and slashes at Brock's Steelix-

IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!!!

Brock: Steelix! Use Rock Slide!!

-Brock's Steelix slams his tail into the ground, and several rocks come tumbling from above-

Me: Oshawittle! Use Protect!!

-Oshawittle raises his scalchop over his head, and a shield of light forms around it, protecting Oshawittle from the falling rocks-

Brock: Now's our chance! Steelix! Use Skull Bash!!!

-Brock's Steelix pulls his head in, raising his Defense even more... suddenly, his body starts to spin faster and faster as he takes aim on Oshawittle-

Me: OSHAWITTLE! USE PROTECT!!!

-Oshawittle moves his scalchop in front of him...-

-...however, the shield of light doesn't appear...-

Brock: Hahaha! This is it!

Me: Taihenda!! Protect fails if the Pokémon using it uses it too many times in a row!

-Oshawittle begins to shiver as he realizes his situation-

Brock: NOW!!!

USE SKULL BASH!!!!!

-Brock's Steelix uncoils his body and charges at great speed toward the panicking Oshawittle-

Me: OSHAWITTLE! LOOK OUT!!!

-My words reach Oshawittle too late, as Steelix strikes Oshawittle with his head full force-

Me: NO!!!

-Oshawittle gets send flying backwards by the attack-

Brock: Looks like Oshawittle is also unable to battle...

-Suddenly, as soon as Brock finishes that statement, Oshawittle gets back up-

-A fire burns in Oshawittle's eyes and a brilliant blue, watery aura surrounds Oshawittle as he stares down Brock's Steelix-

Oshawittle: I'm not giving up!!

Me: Oshawittle... You're okay...

Brock and I: But HOW? Unless... OF COURSE!!!

Me: IT'S TORRENT!!!!

Aldrich Manor Storage Room

"So do we send this footage to law enforcement?" Lamb asked. "Or is there a more suited organization?"

And then Rogue vanished.

Lamb blanched behind her mask, but retraced her steps in an attempt to escape the way she came in.

"Could I get an extraction or something?" She asked into her comms.

Unyielding Faith

"Can't come up with any objections," Colton decided as he leaned against a wall and began to doze. "Just... wake me about 20 minutes before it's time."

In a green flash he was teleported into his backpack.

-Wrap, wrap, wrap...-

   The Last Laugh   : "Here, ye can have this back, ye overgrown jay-peg!"

-The Last Laugh throws the painting full force at the drone. Isaac jumps into Marc's arms, recalls the Aerries, and just as another attack is about to hit...-

-VWIP-

-They're gone, Teleported away.-

Halsei has once again wandered off seperate from Lucius, having found a place under a building's outer roof to rest for the time being. They've also taken back their PDA, seemingly intent on looking up several things, when out of the corner of their eye, they notice something gleaming on the ground.

Halsei: <Hm? Is that another one of those... things? No, it can't be. It looks different, and isn't bothering me at all.>

They go over to it, looking at it closely and poking it. An odd symbol or other such object lies inside the stone, and when they touch it, they feel... an emotion, one they aren't used to often.

Halsei: <This...>

Yet, it's one that quickly becomes familiar to them, as they take the stone, storing it within the portion of scarf wrapped around them, going back over to their spot from before... seemingly a bit restless, though, starting to hit rocks against one-another.

Cerulean City

A predominantly black and dark magenta Gardevoir is walking near Halsei.

Trailing a bit behind her is a much more normal looking Gardevoir.

Halsei notices them, and stares at them for a short time with curiousity, and a very slight tinge of agitation. Not enough to make Halsei actually do something about it, but enough to keep them from saying anything, feeling like a minor headache of some kind. From a distance, though, Halsei appears to be acting like usual... which, of course, is to say 'initially shy'. They disregard it and go back to looking at their PDA's screen, trying to ward off the odd feeling to no avail.

A map appeared on the HUD, "At your service. Follow that," Bishop responded.

Fox perked up, "Jackal you getting everyone out?"

Jackal lead the remaining team members out, "Yep, take the backway, we have some transportation for you. We'll meet up in the Normandy a little later."

Bishop spoke up, "Normandy?"

"Figured since Nightingale called it that, why not?"

Officer Goddard was a little surprised when he got a call about St. Aldrich hosting a illegal auction, he was even more shocked when a live feed appeared showing off illegal merch appeared.

He fancied himself a good man, he wasn't a perfect man, but a good man, and the knowledge that there were still those Pokefutures assholes, and poachers, made his blood boil.

The police arrived, the manor was cleared, and 4 poachers were arrested, and over 20 Pokefutures members taken in for questioning, the auction was cancelled. All those who were there for the Art Auction and the auctual art were informed it was on hold for now.

One of the Poachers, a Poacher by the name of Phobos grimaced, as he was escorted out a TV set showed a white mask of sorts with two empty lenses, and one single line, "I found you."

Phobos didn't like being taunted, and whoever this was, had just made a enemy.

Camphier Town, Outside the Hall, Distinct Past

-Well, Serana had ended up here standing with an umbrella with the landcape she brought all sheeted up again-

Serana: Well, it appears some fellows found what they were looking for.

-The supposed violinist had decided to sit down and fiddle with the dagger she brought-

"Maria": Yep...

Serana: Why so glum? You got to mingle and your cover is intact and you're unharmed.

"Maria": I was gonna do a cool thing that'd go viral and be 'that moment' for the show...

-The vampire shrugs and after a moment of thought reaches down to pat the disguised person's head-

Serana: There there. You'll uh... Get other chances to do something cool.

"Maria": Yeah but this one relied on the disguise...

Serana: Ah well...

Pewter Gym, VS Brock (Days ago...)

Me: An ability that increases the power of Water Type moves when the user is in a pinch...

Oshawittle: <So THIS is my special ability... Cool!>

Me: Let's show Brock what you can really do! Use Razor Shell!!

-Oshawittle takes his scalchop in hand and draws his sword, this time, the blade of his sword looks like the blade of the Galaxia sword, and then slashes at Brock's Steelix-

IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!!

Brock: Steelix! Use Iron Tail!

-Steelix raises his tail, which then shimmers slightly, and brings it down on top of Oshawittle-

Me: Oshawittle! Use Protect!

-Oshawittle raises his scalchop above his head, and a shield of light forms around it, protecting Oshawittle from Steelix's Iron Tail-

Brock: Now, Steelix! Use Rock Slide!

-Steelix slams his tail into the ground, and several rocks come tumbling from above-

Me: Oshawittle! Cut through them with Razor Shell!

-Oshawittle draws his sword once more and slices through each of the falling rocks-

Me: Way to go, Oshawittle!

-Suddenly, Oshawittle's Aura surrounds Oshawittle and changes into water-

Me: Is that...

Oshawittle: <A new move?>

Brock: Heh... Looks like the time has come...

Me: That must be Aqua Jet!

Oshawittle: <Let's see what it can do!>

Me: Alright! Oshawittle! Use Aqua Jet!!

-Oshawittle jumps into the air, surrounded by water and charges headlong into Brock's Steelix-

IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!!

Brock: It's time to finish this, once and for all!

Me: I agree!!

Brock: STEELIX! USE SKULL BASH!!!

-Brock's Steelix pulls his head in, raising his Defense even more... suddenly, his body starts to spin faster and faster as he takes aim on Oshawittle-

Me: -thinks to self- Alright, Ian... stay calm... this next attack will determine how your Gym Battle will end... Now... what attack to use...

-Flashback-

Brock: That was an impressive combination, Ian... Why don't you try a combination of your Oshawott's Ice Beam and Aqua Jet when he learns that move...?

Me: Thanks for the advice, Brock! I think we'll try that combo someday...

Brock: That's good to hear!

-Flashback End-

Me: So da!^note Translation: That's it! Oshawittle! Use Aqua Jet! Only this time, combine it with Ice Beam!

Oshawittle: <You got it!>

-Oshawittle surrounds himself with water and then jumps into the air, where he then freezes the Aqua Jet around him while he's still in it-

Brock: He did it... He actually did it...

Me: GO!!!

ICE AQUA JET!!!

-Though not visible to any of the characters, the Japanese symbols for Ice Aqua Jet appear as Oshawittle uses the combination attack-

Brock: STEELIX!!! USE SKULL BASH!!!!

-Brock's Steelix uncoils his body and charges at great speed toward Oshawittle, who in turn, confidently charges at Steelix using Ice Aqua Jet-

Brock: NO HOLDING BACK!!!!

Me: GO!!!!

-Oshawittle and Brock's Steelix collide with each other-

IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!!!

-the ice around Oshawittle shatters-

-Oshawittle and Steelix stand with their backs facing away from each other, near the center of the battlefield-

...is mine.

-Brock's Steelix falls over-

Brock: Looks like you won...

-Brock calls back his fainted Steelix-

Me: Way to go, Oshawittle! I knew I could count on you!

Oshawittle: <Thanks, pal...>

Brock: Well... You won. Congratulations.

Me: Thank you for the match, Brock.

Brock: I believe I have something for your astounding victory...

-IAN OBTAINED THE BOULDER BADGE!-

Me: YATTA!! I GOT THE BOULDER BADGE!!!

Piku-chan and Oshawittle: <Way to go!>

Brock: That's your first badge in the Kanto Region... Needless to say, I'm impressed.

Me: Thanks Brock...

Brock: ...and if you're ever looking to challenge me again...

-Brock punches his number into my Xtransceiver-

Brock: ...just give me a call.

Me: I will.

Brock: So, now that you've won your first Kanto Badge... where will you go now?

Me: To the next Gym...

Brock: Ah. The Gym in Cerulean City... My friend, Misty, runs that Gym...

Me: I'll tell her you said hi.

Brock: Thanks, Ian...

Me: Now, I'm off!

Cerulean

Red looks over at Halsei, and tilts her head towards Halsei. She walks over, and does the 'i'm watching you' thing to Halsei, before pointing at them, then back at herself, and tilting her head curiously.

Something about this series of motions further agitates Halsei, and they put the PDA down, looking at them with a slightly more frustrated expression.

Halsei: <...Please d-don't do that.>

They lower their head a bit from a headache, their prior words having been more strained than usual. It's becoming increasingly obvious that something is wrong with them, but there's not much indication what that is yet.

Cerulean

Red makes a sad face, and sits back a few feet away from Halsei.

Lifthrasir comes over and sits next to her.

Lifthrasir: <Everything alright?>

Red nods, before looking at Halsei and tilting her head questioningly.

Halsei doesn't say something right away, seemingly taking a moment to register what's happening around them before speaking.

Halsei: <Who... w-who are you?>

They don't seem calm, but they aren't directly angry, either. Their eyes, however, betray the fact that something is off, having a very faintly-red tint as opposed to an otherwise-standard appearance, minus the external scarf. Talking appears to be something they're struggling with, but if that's a result of their apparent headache or something else is unknown.

The heavy step of footsteps is heard, out walks a man in what looks to be full plate armor, a metang walking next to him.

<Why are you wearing that?>

"I wanted to wear my suit a bit more, no big deal."

<Hrn.>

It's at this point he sees Halsei and blinks, Arthur steps over, "What might be going on over here?"

St. Aldrich Manor

Lamb promptly makes her way to the Normandy, being certain not to get detected. The HUD makes it a lot easier for her, and she eventually makes it home free with little to no fuss.

On the desk of security is a calling card with no words, just a purple, white and blue spiral.

Cerulean

Lifthrasir: <I'm Lifthrasir. This is Red.>

Halsei hears the loud footsteps of the oncoming knight and reactively jumps back a fair distance, partly because they forgot it's just Arthur and partly because they're not entirely in a right state of mind. They look over at the two Gardevoirs a bit.

Halsei: <...H-halsei.>

They look at Arthur, a slight glare being sent straight at him.

Halsei: <...>

They don't say anything to him, though. Halsei seems far more hostile than usual.

Cerulean

Lifthrasir tilts her head. <Are... you alright? You seem jumpy.>

Arthur blinks at Halsei's jump, "I recognize that rabbit from somewhere."

<I could grab them, a puny little organic would be nothing to my might.>

"We talked about this Cluch, I have no need for your attitude."

Pewter Pokémon Center, Today

Nurse Joy: Welcome to the Pokémon Center.

Me: Thanks, Nurse Joy.

Nurse Joy: How may I help you this fine evening?

Me: I would like you to heal my Pokémon please.

Nurse Joy: Will do.

-I place my Poké Balls on the tray and Piku-chan jumps off my shoulder and on to the counter-

Me: I was in the middle of a Gym Battle with Brock.

Nurse Joy: How did it go?

Me: I won!

-I show Nurse Joy the Boulder Badge-

Nurse Joy: Congratulations.

Me: Brock recommended that I challenge the Cerulean Gym next. His friend Misty runs that Gym.

Nurse Joy: Well, it looks like you have your plan of action...

Me: Yeah...

-I yawn-

Me: ...but I can't carry it out until tomorrow... I'm beat!

Nurse Joy: I understand that.

-beep beep bee-boop ding!-

Nurse Joy: Your Pokémon are all rested up!

Me: Thanks, Nurse Joy.

-Piku-chan jumps back onto my shoulder-

Nurse Joy: You are most welcome. I hope you continue using our services... and give my regards to the next Nurse Joy you meet.

Me: I will.

-I tilt my head and smile at Nurse Joy-

-Nurse Joy tilts her head and smiles back-

Me: Now... whaddya say we get some sleep, Piku-chan?

Piku-chan: <Sleep is an idea. One ought to be well-rested before a Gym Battle...>

Me: So true, Piku-chan. So true.

-I head up to one of the rooms with Piku-chan on my shoulder-

-I change into my pajamas-

Me: Oyasuminasai...

-I climb into one of the available beds-

-Piku-chan climbs into the same bed-

Me: Hey, Piku-chan... Wanna know something funny?

Piku-chan: <Go right ahead.>

-I stare at the ceiling of the room I am staying in, and start to shift my eyes back and forth, as if I were following something swinging from the ceiling-

Me: I can actually make myself feel sleepy by shifting my eyes back and forth for an extended period of time...

Piku-chan: <That is pretty funny... and it makes sense, really.>

Me: -while I look at the ceiling, shifting my eyes back and forth, I feel my eyes start to close- Wh-why's that?

Piku-chan: <Oh. No reason.>

-My eyes close completely and I fall asleep.-

Me: Oyasuminasai, Piku-chan...

Piku-chan: <Goodnight, Ian...>

-Piku-chan hugs me and falls asleep-

Halsei looks over at Lifthrasir again.

Halsei: <I'm f-fine...>

Their mannerisms would say otherwise, but they notice what Clutch said, stepping forward a bit at them.

Halsei: <Who... w-who are you calling puny?>

It's clear they've taken offense to it.

Arthur looked at Halsei, then at Clutch, and then thought, "Clutch, try not to be insulting."

Clutch blinked, but continued, <Because that is what you are. You are a unevolved organic life form that is without a trainer, confused and angry. You are a pitiful sack of meat now attempting to challenge a being of metallic perfection. I am fully in control of all my mental facilities, while you are not.>

Halsei is getting genuinely enraged by this... something that shouldn't be happening in a situation like this.

Halsei: <N-nobody's perfect... and usually, w-when someone says... they are, t-they're the opposite...>

They use Foresight on Clutch, seemingly ready for a fight.
