With one hand still operating the keyboard, Colton grabbed his Lemonade with his left hand and drank a little. “Heya,” he casually said as he kept up eye contact, still typing.

A few Pokeballs opened up. A Luxray, a Blaziken and a Ninetales began wandering around together, looking for a read that would appeal to each of them.

-After a minute or so, Lane puts down his book and opens a second one, this one on breeding-

Lane:Straybow, top shelf, third space.

-The Delphox beside him floats the anatomy book back to its place-

Delphox!Straybow:<Yes, yes. I suppose you could simply get up and do it yourself.>

-smirk-<But why bother when you’re studying some new family trade?>

-Lane’s cheeks flush-

Lane:Oh be quiet.

"Oh, you have a Delphox, too?" Colton asked, turning to look behind himself as he began throwing together a new batch of code, once again only using one hand for a moment to drink the rest of the Lemonade.

Eventually the three Pokemon that went in between the shelves would come out rather quickly. The Blaziken would leave first, a copy of Kalos' history in his talons.

The Luxray and Ninetales would leave in unison, the former with a botany encyclopedia and the latter with a book on psychology.

Lane:Yeah. I train Fire types.

-Turns page, readjusts glasses-

I’ve had Straybow for...a few years now. Met him after this tidal wave of catmon in Hoenn.

<Well ya got two more Fire-types right here!> Amaterasu said as she pulled Roy aside in a psychic grip, the Ninetales looking at Lane like she had done nothing wrong, even when Roy's upside-down grimace would say everything.

"Ignore her. She's easily amused," Colton remarked without even skipping a beat. "But yeah, this "tidal wave of catmons? I'd love to hear about that.

"Don't worry about me still working; I can do two things at once. Kinda have to to keep up my boss' expectations," Colton defended, still coding.

Lane:Well, I didn’t get all the specifics, heard about it from a friend of mine. Another J-Teamer tested this rumor about a chalk circle making instant catmons.

Not quite expecting the pets, the Shiny Ninetales leaned into them and inadvertently dropped Roy, who fortunately had extended a claw to break his fall. Somewhat. He still ultimately landed on his chest, which wasn't nothing he couldn't just shake off. He ultimately sat down, looking through the book.

Mae was also reading her book, at least, nosing the pages until she found the index.

"I'd be half tempted to try that if I didn't already know the consequences," Colton summarized.

Lane:Heh...fair enough.

-The redhead picks up his book again-

Amaterasu attempted to power through the pets to read her book, while Roy and Mae both attempted to power through the distractions around them for their books.
