This time, Rei elected to make his presence known, apropos of Colton's decision. She began with what would probably be the easiest decision of her life: Icicle Crash on Druddigon.

"Wait!" Colton demanded, Rei stopping with a few icicles summoned. Colton approached Pent and Kaito, somewhat unsure of what they were talking about. "Should I be feeling some... negative emotions coming from them?" He asked rhetorically. "Because I'm feeling something, but I don't know if it's my imagination."

Orlok: <Oh, nice to meet you. I'm Orlok! I did come up with it myself!>

Soujin: "Heh, yeah, he's my starter."

Shaun: "Luka's not my starter. My Empoleon Typhoon is."

Luka: <Even though I tend to act like it.>

The boosted grunt swings once more at the Mason illusion, only for the shadow to crumble one again in his claws. In frustration, the grunt begins shedding some of the energy on his body off in a rapid pulse.

The Aggron, though slightly tripped by the Low Kick from Gregson, but otherwise shrugs it off and continues to wrestle Trina unfettered

The grunt who owns the Aggron begins to gloat, laughing at Shun while tossing the Infinity Ball up and down in his right hand.

Neo-Flare Grunt #1: Awww~ Seems you made better Aggron bait than Feraligatr bait there, Sambo!

This is the power of Neo-Flare! We have mastered Mega-Evolution! Pushed it to the next level! We don't even need to use those pithy Mega Stones to bring our mons to their full potential! They can even hold other items to boost their attacks! Look!

Flare Forest Facility — B1

-Mason curses under his breath from his hiding spot as the Grunt breaks the new illusion with an energy pulse. The baiting trick didn't work. Maybe he could bait the Aggron instead. Or maybe... well, he didn't know what that Infinity Ring was doing, but he knew enough about Aura Depletion to hope the Grunt would burn himself out from using it, in one way or another.-

-The big question was how quickly. Hopefully very quickly. This doesn't look like something the grunt bothered trying to build a tolerance to.-

-From the Sandstorm, a few rocks — residual from a Rock Slide — are flung at the Grunt from behind. Good, Mako was still fine. Hopefully that's a good distraction there for the grunt to waste energy on. Mason makes a third image of himself near where the rocks came from, tossing an illusionary pebble up and down to act like he was the one who threw it.-

Shaun: "Sinnoh, originally. Before all hell broke loose. But I live here, in Unova."

Luka: <My fellow Pokémon and I were hatched and raised in Unova.>

-Aela notices them.-

Aela: <Ah, there you are. The Harbringer wishes to see you.>

The Grand Darkrai has ceased moving, and the Great Dekarule can be seen. It suddenly shifts and begins to return to it's resting place, overlooking the Joyous Forest.

The Team has won, and cleansed the Grand Darkrai.

-I wouldn't trust her... you don't need adrenaline, you need to build your electrolytes back up.-

Groundblight B, or rather just Groundblight cricks what would be its neck. Before summoning a boulder and tossing it right at Takumi.

The shield flashes, and seems to weaken, Jester looks out one of the windows and sees the Pillar pointing towards the Joyous Forest has turned a soft Blue in glow.

"OOOOOOOOHOHOHOHOHOHO! YES!"

Jester is grinning happily, "That's one down! More coming soon!"

Neo-Flare Base BF2

-A sandstorm is set down on the corridor leading to the eastern staircase, and a Shadow Sky is used on the western-

Verax: "Alright we've done this before. If it moves, it goes down. It goes down, you go on. You see a friendly, you pull them out of this fire we started and we get this plan back on track."

-Balthazar and Chrysa both open up at any grunts coming down the eastern staircase with a Dragon Pulse and Leaf Storm-

-To the west, the Charizard and Aggron are both laying down Fire Blasts, the Lucario and Scizor both fire Flash Cannons down the hall, and the Alakazam stands back, placing a Reflect barrier up-

Team Iron Debriefing Room

-Aulstyne's eyes narrow.-

Aulstyne: If you were paying attention to my briefing, I can't send just anyone after these two - anyone more than fifty percent meat's likely to get their hearts stopped or the base of their brain stem turned to mush. I also can't go myself thanks to the Templars stupid psychos. That just leaves you.

-She crosses her arms.-

Aulstyne: I want you to find these two. Get back our research, our resources, and our Mobius liaison. I don't honestly care what you do to them - I wouldn't mind interrogating them, but if they don't give you the option... no tears will be shed.
