(Quirinus was not expecting anyone else to try and fight him - least of all something this bloody strong. Reacting only with a strangled gasp of pain, Quirinus is all but incapacitated; he barely has the strength to roll onto his other side and stare blankly at the approach of Colton and Minister.)

Aether Inferno

"Nice to see you again!" Colton hollered as he leaped off of his Normal-type's back, a shit-eating grin covering his face as Minister clamped his teeth down just a short distance away, but the darkness from Crunch still potentially harmed Quirinus.

He then casually sauntered away to engage Elagabalus next.

"DO YOU HAVE ANY FUCKING IDEA HOW MAD I STILL AM AT YOU FOR HEAT WAVING ME." He said in a tone that could be considered dark enough for a hypothetical Fairy-Fighting to fidget. With the 'pleasantries' out of the way, he went straight for the Delphox's head, knowing that bothering to steel himself would only make it less effective on his target.

We're gonna have words, later., he though to himself. It's going to be a calm discussion, and if you bother to attack me again, I swear on Arceus' unholy flank you are going to be subject to so many Waterfalls.

And 9-Volt will keep you locked in place with Infestation; you won't be able to Teleport your way out of this.

Aether Inferno

Fortuitously for Minister, he was too slow to have gotten within melee range of Elagabalus to be caught in Surf's crossfire. He also saw the wave approaching, so there was time to raise a Protect.

Colton had his hands on Quirinus in a full nelson but saw Silvally engaging on the Ninetales. Remembering why he returned in the first place, he fidgeted his left pocket, Lucario and 9-Volt landing beside him.

"Lucario, drag him off somewhere I'll easily find him and confront him. 9-Volt, use Infestation on him so he can't teleport away."

They nodded, both of them toughing out the heat as Lucario wrapped his arms around the Delphox's arms and 9-Volt jumping onto the Fox Pokemon's chest.

Statically.

He then walked in the other direction, towards Gladion, debating how to start the conversation.

Frieden: Well it may sound counterproductive for someone like you but you should get one. I myself have one. He's annoying, always on my ass, keeping the brake on whenever things get exciting. You'd think I'd hate him: in reality, no. I hate his actions from time to time, but never him. He's the type of guy that because he's always on the brakes, that I don't have to turn around every five steps and get eaten by paranoia. And he's the only guy that no matter how much insults and bickering we have, that knows I don't mean even half of the insults I throw at him. He's someone I can rely on and trust.

-Black gunks are shot across from Krieg's body as soon as Elagabalus bites down on Krieg. His single pink light flickers. Krieg sees the tidal wave before blacking out.-

(As Catha soars back down to touch down beside her Trainer, he returns to his previous level of preening, posturing hamminess.)

Hephaestus: With this god among Mons by my side, I know no foes with the capacity to challenge me! Your supposed guardians were foolish to so much as try; observe the pathetic state Elagabalus's wrath has left them in! Now, Quirinus, come to my side and let us-

(Elagabalus's ears pricked up a few seconds before this. He can't react in time, and the wave crashes over him - and over Hephaestus. The human is swept away like driftwood on the ocean; the Ninetales, not so much, but he was not expecting any more opposition, so he's clearly quite stunned.)

Lucario was deathly focused on Quirinus, so of course he would notice the Fire-type's Aura flare a little. In response to this, his spike lit up.

<Listen up,> Lucario barked. <Colton's going to be back around the time that Ninetales is finally defeated. In the meantime, you are going to sit right here, thinking about what you have done, specifically what twisted mindset you have to be in to think it a good idea to blast Heat Wave in a human's face, while he's wearing a jacket.> He inhaled.

<And while I'm at it, I know you resist both of my stronger attacks,> he sighed. <But I feel DC clawing at the door. One wrong move and you're taking a Dark Pulse to the face.>

The Stoutland nodded to his trainer, and then finished his approach around the same time that Colton was within a few meters of Gladion.

"I forgot I had a Ride Pager. Make your tourist remarks," he baited.

Silas smirked a bit at Trainwreck's response, "Yeah. It's great and all, but It'd rather go back to being me. Though Hacks claims he wants to teach me so much, probably thinks I'm gonna keep Auric-"

He stopped and opened his eyes, "We're getting close, just follo-" he started ducking off into a separate tunnel. It closed behind him, "Greaaaaaaaaaaaat!"

"What you may think of as me, may not be real, everyone has their chance" Alexander said, his voice reverberating through the tunnels themselves. Silas groaned, "Dave, you're in charge. Seems we got split up, I don't know how well the Radios will last down here, so if you find DeCross. Finish the job."

Silas rocketed forward, down the dark halls, down into the depths.

Lyra: "Shit. What's wrong DeCross, afraid?"

-She looks towards Phaz's ship.-

Lyra: "I'm not sure if our telepathy will work in regards to being seperated. Depends on any counter measures and the distance."

In the background, a red-gloved hand claws at the dockside of Aether Paradise, trying to haul itself out of the ocean. Catha is nowhere to be seen.)

(Quirinus lolls his head to stare at Lucario. Even though his voice is psychic, not physical, he's so weak it still sounds strangled and breathy.)
