Mt. Coronet - Past

Sergey hesitated... on one hand he wanted to get the hell out of here... and to the contest, on the other hand he couldn't just leave now. After a bit of fidgeting around he gulped, trying to sound as determind as he could

Sergey: "I-I don't mind helping you search..."

=Mt. Coronet, Past=

Zachary: "I-I don't know but my dad told me it was super important, and that it had to be delivered soon...Ugh, who am I kidding, this is my fault, if it weren't for me that Geodude wouldn't have taken it...You know what, uhhh...stranger who is offering help? I really need a name here, i'd like some help but we don't know where the Geodude is, we just know that he's here, really..."

Aurum: ~And that he went to the floor below us~

Zachary: "W-What? How do you know that?"

Aurum points to the wall and Zachary notices some hand prints clearly belonging to a Geodude, who climbed up to the ceiling and kept moving through the ceiling until reaching the stairs that lead to the floor below them

Zachary: "How do you know it was the Geodude we're looking for?"

Aurum: ~Because the marks show single hand prints instead of both hands, which means it was carrying something with the other hand~

Zachary: "And wouldn't you look at that, the missing hand prints belong to the hand he was using to carry our parcel....Okay, looks like we're going to the underground part of this cave, at least it's confined so it's impossible to get lost....If you want to help me, i'd appreciate that but it's your choice, if you want to, then just follow me I guess..."

Zachary and Aurum walk down the stairs to the floor below them

Tex: "The name's Barrister. Jack Barrister. But most people call me Tex. Anyway, I'm afraid I have to get to Hearthome City ASAP, so I can't help for long."

-Tex digs around in his backpack, and removes a stick of chalk. He follows Zachary down, while periodically making marks on the wall with it-

Tex: "Bulldozer, stay with Sergey. Keep this place lit up."

Mt. Coronet - Past

Sergey quickly followed

Sergey: "I-I'm Sergey, nice to meet you."

He quickly followed the other two to not fall behind

Sergey: "Meep... why has to be the underground part..."

This time he was just clinging to Mireille.

Old Chateau- 42 minutes before sunset

Barclay: <Erm... I'm... positive that the Haunters will be fine, Phaz.>

-The Haunters seem to still be in distress, but appear to be consoling each other.-

Barclay: <... Close enough.>

-Reset seemed to get a hold of herself at this point. She tentatively floated up and glitched the key onto the keyring.-

Reset: Th-that.... is correct. Let's get to the second floor right wing door.

-The group made their way hesitantly across the bridge to the door on the other side. Reset flew over and unlocked it. The room inside is a small library. There are 7 books with blank cover pages on a table.-

Verigan: <What is thy mistress' next task for us?>

-The sound of a book being closed was heard before a somewhat elegant male voice was heard-

?????: Ah, so you've made it this far. Excellent, I expected nothing less.

-The speaker was a male Mismagius with spectacles perched upon his hat. A pink glow surrounded the book that was levitating beside him, along with a quill and scroll. He set it on the table beside the other 7, bringing the number up to 8.-

Reset: Oh... hi Imamu... how are the books doing?

Imamu: Terrible. My assistant was returning from... acquiring new books for our collection, when he somehow managed to ruin the covers beyond repair and legibility.

Reset: H-how did Huet manage to do that!?

Imamu: If he bothered to tell me, then maybe I would not have him sitting in the time-out corner.

-Imamu looked at a smaller then average ghastly sitting in the corner of the room. He stuck his tongue out at Imamu.-

Imamu: Huet, can you at least be polite to our visitors?

-The ghastly had the voice of a young child when he spoke.-

Huet: Ugh... hi, I guess.

Imamu: Close enough. Anyway, your task is to match the titles of these books to their plots. It's been a very long time since I've been out of the Chateau, so forgive me for not knowing them. However, I have been reading through these books and summarized the plots for you. It would be cruel and unfair of me to expect you to read all of these in under an hour. Huet will read them out one at a time, after you tell him the title of each book. Hopefully his memory is good enough to at least be jogged once he is reminded.

Huet: What! Why am I doing this!?

Imamu: If you do it, I will let you out of time out.

-Huet seemed to look carefully at Imamu, before huffing.-

Huet: Fiiiiiiiine, you win. Gimme the list.

-With that, Imamu passed the list he had composed, along with the quill pen, to Huet. The psychic glow surrounding the items changed to a lilac color.-

Imamu: If you need me, I will be sorting the books that Huet managed to get to me undamaged.

Huet: Ugh, whatever. You ready to start yet?

Tex: "Wait."

-Tex goes back upstairs-

Tex: "Scout, can you get the scent off of these handprints?

Scout: <I can try, but I'm a little rusty.>

-Scout sniffs the wall-

Scout: <I've got something>

Tex: "Let's go."

-Tex and Scout go back down the stairs-

=Mt. Coronet (B 1 F), Past=

Zachary: "....T-Thanks guys, anyways, I think we're almost to the bottom aaaand...here we are"

Zachary looks in front of him and notices a big rocky area filled with many rocky hills and a big lake in the middle

Zachary: "Whoa, this place is-"

Zachary trips with a rock and falls down on the ground face-first

Aurum: ~You should probably wait for the Pokemon that knows Flash before walking into some random cave area you know nothing about~

Zachary: "Yeah, yeah....Anyways, if the Geodude IS here, then we should be able to find it easily since, according to my Poke Nav, there are barely any Geodudes in this area, and the few that are here come from the floor we were just in"

Bulldozer is a shiny Metagross

Tex: "You have a Pokénav? Good, that makes things easier. Bulldozer, use flash."

Mt. Coronet - Past

Sergey: "Okay... are... are there any... Ghost-Types here?"

He started looking around, looking for Geodudes in the light of the flash.

Well, Aurum meant in general whenever going into a cave

The dark area lights up, allowing the group to see better

Zachary: "Well, at least now we can see, thanks again....Tex, now we just need to keep looking..."

Zachary steps on a rock, which reveals itself to be the Geodude, flailing his arms in anger before running off with the Parcel

Zachary: "...This is the worst....Aurum, Psybeam!"

Aurum shoots an energy blast of concentrated mind waves at the Geodude, who dodges it and ducks behind a boulder

Zachary: "W-We found him! M-Maybe this will be easier than we thought?"

The Geodude jumps out from behind the boulder for a brief second and uses Rock Throw at a loose stalagmite over the big pond in the center, causing it to break off and land inside the water

Zachary: "....W-Why did he do that?"

Aurum: ~Um, I think it would best if all of us hid this very instant~

Aurum throws himself behind a boulder and pulls Zachary with him

Zachary: "W-Why!? We almost have the Geodude!"

The area starts to rumble as something causes the stalagmite, now shattered to pieces, to be thrown out of the water

Aurum: ~If you checked your Poke Nav for Pokemon in this area then I suppose you know that Gyarados are native to this pond?~

Mt. Coronet - Past

Seeing the Stalagmite - or rather what was left of it - being thrown of the water Sergey jumped behind a nearby rock with Mireille.

Sergey: "What should we do now?"

Phaz: I... guess so. Let's see what it's all about...

Simon: Wait, books? Hah! I am a literary connoisseur, if I do say so myself!

Tex: Ember, Scout! Behind here!

-Tex, Ember, and Scout hide behind a boulder. Bulldozer does nothing-

Old Chateau- 40 minutes until sunset.

-Imamu seemed to glance back from his book sorting to give an approving look at Simon.-

Imamu: Finally, someone else who appreciates books.

Huet:' Yeah, yeah, that's nice. Go back to sorting the books.

-Imamu rolls his eyes once Huet turns his back.-

Huet: Anyway. The summery of the white book is... lemme see here... "Sea captain seeks revenge on a White Wailord."

Kiaran: <Have any of us had the chance to read any books? If you can, y'know, read.>

-Silence from Ark's pokemon-

Audra: <It appears that we will be relying on the humans in the room.>

=Mt. Coronet, Past=

Zachary: "H-Hey you! Metagross! Y-You should hide too, it's way too dangerous!"

An angry Gyarados with a visible red bump in his head comes out of the pond and starts using Dragon Rage on the ceiling, shooting a powerful swirling beam of concentrated energy all over the area, causing explosions nearby

Zachary: *whispers to Aurum* "W-Where is that Geodude!?"

Aurum looks around and then points Zachary to behind the Gyarados, where a Geodude is sneaking past the Gyarados and taunting the group

Zachary: *sigh* "This is the worst..."

Gyarados uses Twister by generating a tornado which picks up many boulders and then throws them around the room, one of them falling right in front of Zachary

Zachary: *whispers* "Okay, this is waaaayyyy too much danger for one single day..."

Aurum: ~Tex, Sergey, any plans or ideas on catching the Geodude now?~

Mt. Coronet - Past

Sergey: "No... safe for hiding and not dying that is... well... Mireille could you maybe use a Heal Pulse on Gyarados? Maybe if the bumb is healed they will calm down?"

Mireille: ~As you wish! ... if you let go of me that is...~

Sergey: "O-Oh, o-of course."

He again clung to Ponyta... not robbing them of their breath this time while Mireille used a Healing Pulse.

Old Chateau, 40 mins before sunset

Phaz: Ohhh... I remember that one ! Crepes, what was the name again... The Kalosian one was... Moby Dick... But what is it normally again... Uhm...

Ashley: <It's the same.>

Phaz: Uh ? What did you wanted to say Ashley ?

Ashley: <It's the same title.>

Phaz: I'm sorry, but Cynthia isn't here, so i can't understand.

Ashley: <Urgh... That's true.>

Phaz: Uhh... Urgh, got it on the tip of the tongue ! Moby Dick, Moby Dick... Oh. Of course. It's Moby Dick.

=Mt. Coronet, Past=

The Heal Pulse manages to heal the angry Gyarados, causing its bump to heal and causing it to become happy once again, ceasing its destruction of the cave and sinking back into the pond to take a nap

Aurum: ~Great plan Sergey, if he had continued this cave probably would've collapsed...~

Another rock falls right in front of Zachary as he tries to stand up, causing him to fall

Aurum: ~....Though i'm still sure this place isn't safe for now and we should leave, but where is the Geodude now...~

The Geodude reveals itself by using Magnitude, causing the earth to shake and more rocks to fall from the ceiling

Aurum: ~Everyone, fall back! It's too dangerous!~

Zachary: "N-No! We can't let that rock get away!"

Mt. Coronet - Past

Sergey: "Okay... i-if this Geodude wants to fight... Mireille! Use Telekinesis to stop those falling rocks!"

Mireille: ~As you wish!~

Her eyes started to glow blue as she used Telekinesis, trying to stop all rocks - or at least those in danger of hitting the group.

Eterna - Jakari's Room

-Jacob sits upright-

"...I sense a disturbance in the force."

-He looks over his stuff- "... WHERE DID ALL MY POKEBALLS GO?"

Hearthome

-Phlegethon, Helian, Galahad, and Ferris are all here, Phlegethon carrying a large glass jar filled with a variety of Pokeballs-

Galahad: <Remind me, why did we do this?>

Helian: <Because he's sitting around not exploring! and that's just boring!>

Ferris: <I-I don't know i-if I l-like this i-idea.>

-As Heliphlegalarris are walking, they ground would likely start shaking a bit-

Hearthome

-Phlegethon immediately takes to the air, Ferris scrambles under the nearest bench, tearing it from the ground, Galahad clings to Helian, who searches for the source of the shaking-

Eterna City

Jacob: -Has quite literally overturned the bed Hikari may or may not be in, tearing the room apart trying to find his belongings- "Okay, no, where is it. Where are they?? I know I didn't mess around with them too much while we were building those glasses!! Where where where where where...?"

-After a short bit, the shaking stops-

-Around this point, Helian and Galahad may notice a Larvitar looking at his surroundings unsurely-
