Time Shenigans Bubble #1

-Ren and Conifer spending a day at the side of the northern lake on Route 120.-

-After almost all of a horde of Marill who where ticked at Ren for not letting them have the food they found in Ren's bags...-

Ren: End this farce, Conifer! Use Magical Leaf!

Conifer: <Really, you all should have known better... I mean did the Lucario and the overly large Ninetales not raise a huge "Do not steal from this guy" for you?>

Marill #10: <No, not reall—>

-Conifer swings her arms causing a storm of iridescent crescent-shaped leaves to fly at the three Marill in front of her.-

Marill #10: (｢⊙Д⊙)｢

Marill #3: (>Д<)

Marill #6: .-. <But I think stuff like that will from now on...>

-All three Marill are KO'd.-

Ren: Yes!

-Conifer starts to glow-

Ren: Yes! YES! YES! YES!

-Conifer's neck grows longer as a crests grows on either side of her head while the leaf on the back of her head shrinks. Conifer's body grow wider towards the bottom hald as her hind legs grow bigger and more powerful as her feet grow more reptilian and a third, clawed toe. Her two leaf-like tails grow and merge into a single tail with leaves growing in a "X" pattern as six seed-like nodules grow in two rows on her back. As her arms grow thicker as a one of the leaves on her arms disappear while her hands each grow a third clawed finger. As the glow fades, Conifer is now mostly green with a the dark-pink coloring reduced to a single band on her stomach at her waist and lining under her eyes and the the yellow seeds on her back complement the dark green of her tail and bring out her yellow eyes.-

Congratulations! Conifer evolved in a Sceptile!

Time Shenigans Bubble #2

-With Lumen's Help, Ren travels to the Battle Resort and to various Move Tutors in Hoenn to ensure his team has learns a few new attacks if they can.-

-Ren commissions a bangle of reddish, hi-tech ceramic with jade accents to set Conifer's Sceptilite in.-

Time Shenigans Bubble #4, Mossdeep Gym-

-Ren has applied for a waver to use Röntgen in a Gym Battle at Mossdeep Gym.-

-Ren and Röntgen are sitting, watching Tate and Liza deliberate via telepathy. Röntgen is looking a lot less nervous after his victory against Winona's Altaria.-

Tate: Mr. Clavis, while your documentation is valid...
Liza: ... we noticed that Winona made some interesting comments about Röntgen here...
Tate and Liza: ... That we simply aren't seeing.

Ren: And I'm assuming you wish for me to clarify?

Tate and Liza: You are correct Mr. Clavis.

-Röntgen looks confused and as he looks at Ren, who pets the Delta Luxray.-

Ren: -to Tate and Liza- Very well. What do you need me to clarify?

Tate: Mr. Clavis, Winona noted that...
Liza: ... Rontgen was acting anxious during your meeting with her and...
Tate: ... you claimed that Rontgen had developed an inferiority complex...
Liza: ... As a result of his past. However...
Tate: ... Rontgen has yet to display any of said behavior in our presence.
Tate and Liza: Can you tell us why?

-Röntgen blinks and starts to look nervous.-

Ren: Well, in all honesty, Röntgen's demeanor has improved since his victory against Winona's Altaria. I was proud of him of his victory - and I still am, as a matter of fact - so I think it helped him be less anxious all the time.

-Röntgen makes a pleased sound at Ren's words as the twins study the trainer and his mon.-

Tate:Very well then. Mr. Clavis...
Liza: ... If you'll will pardon us...
Tate and Liza: ...We will deliberate.

-Ren and Röntgen wait in silence until the pair clears their throats.-

Tate: Mr. Clavis...
Liza: ... We have reached a decision.
Tate and Liza: Mr. Clavis, with the powers invested in as the Leaders of Mossdeep Gym by the Pokemon League, we hereby deny your request to use a Röntgen or a Delta Species in a Gym Battle in Mossdeep gym.

-Röntgen slumps.-

Ren: -giving a side glace at Rontgen- Oh dear...

Tate: This decision stands for 30 days.
Liza: You may re-submit your request after that.
Tate and Liza: -standing up- A good day to both.

Ren: -to Tate and Liza- Yes. Good day to you as well.-

-Ren turns to Röntgen as Tate and Liza leave.-

Röntgen: -in a pathetic tone- <I knew it! I can do anything right!>

Ren: I really should have prepared for this...

-Ren tries to soothe Röntgen, but is forced to have Pierre use Hypnosis and Heal Bell to put the distraught Delta Luxray into a calm sleep before recalling him.-

Time Shenigans Bubble #5

-Ren, having been denied the use of Röntgen, challenges Tate and Liza with a dual-weather team consisting of Noah, Wendi, Atlas, and Carlotta.-

-So, After a grueling, lateral-thinking filled battle that left Ren with only Carlotta conscious after taking down Tate's Grumpig and Liza's Gothitelle as well as damaging Tate's Solrock and Liza's Lunatone; Ren salvages a win when Carlotta used a Rain-boosted Surf to KO Tate's Solrock and Liza's Lunatone.-

-Ren, after accepting the Mind Badge and another copy of TM04, returns to his Hidden Base on Route 119.-
