Tyrantrum: <Haha! Little did you know, but your tea was poisoned...with IOCANE POWDER! AHAHA! AHAHAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!>

Letter: <A clever trick! But despite your adherence to poisoning protocol, there is a flaw in your paperwork.>

Ever: Are we going to see an Iron Head at some point soon?

-as Drasna throws the ball, the light disappears into a small crevice of the arena...and a Noivern slowly rises-

-as the Noivern rises, it becomes clear that it's holding a boombox-

Noivern: <Oops!> -drops down, leaving the boombox behind, and flies back up-

Ever: Oh, good, it's one of the silly ones... Cuseinga, wrap this up! Thunderbolt!

Cuseinga: <Yeah!>

-Cuseinga sprints forward, gathering electricity, and leaps into the air, firing a bolt of lightning at the Noivern-

-who suddenly vanishes-

Ever: ...Oh no.

Cuseinga: -drops to the ground, hunching- <Huh? What happened?>

Noivern: -from right behind Cuseinga- <Hey, lizard.>

Drasna: Boomburst!

Noivern: <SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!>

-the shriek, amplified by Noivern's ears (somehow) echoes through the room. Cuseinga totters, and falls over sideways-

Cuseinga fainted!

-Getting up, he suddenly did a 'system check' making sure nothing was missing, his pokemon were fine, and his hoodie was safe. Luckily nothing outside of a very dizzy Byte happened, so all was good.-

Ever: It's called a Noivern. I don't know much about it, but it's fast.

Skoll: <With pleasure.>

-Skoll launches a wave of obscura, but the Noivern just darts out of the way, giggling-

Ever: Uh...okay...Smog!

Skoll: <But why?>

Ever: Just try it.

Skoll: -breathes out a cloud of poisonous gas-

Drasna: Clever, but it will take more than that! Noivern, blow it back!

Noivern: <Eeeehehee~>

-Noivern flaps its wings, sending the cloud back down onto Skoll, obscuring her from sight-

Skoll was poisoned!

Ever: Now that you're hidden, Dark Pulse again!

-a Dark Pulse launches out from the cloud, but the Noivern dodges it easily once again-

Noivern: <Hehe! I can hear you! I knew exactly where you were going to attack from the whole time! All you did was poison yourself, moron!>

Skoll: -growls-

Ever: Great...

Drasna: Now, Dragon Pulse!

Noivern: -blasts Skoll with waves of dragon power, throwing her against a wall-

Eridanus: Pffft. I bumped into people so many times, I am fairly sure one of my Pokemon keeps the count. I think I reached the double digits... And I've been here for what, 2 months?

Ever: Okay, no. Absolutely not.

Drasna: Well, at least you're sure of yourself.

Ever: ...

Noivern: <Well? I don't have all day. Just do something so I can finish you off.>

Ever: ...Skoll, Howl. And make it a good one.

Skoll: <Howl? That is not exactly my strongest move.>

Ever: Do it anyway. And fast!

Skoll: <Very well.>

-Skoll lets out a howling cry-

Skoll's Attack rose!

-but more importantly-

Noivern: <Argh!>

Ever: Now, Thunder Fang! While it's stunned!

-Skoll leaps into the air, jaws crackling with electricity, and crashes into the Noivern, slamming it into the ground-

Noivern was paralyzed!

Drasna: ...Very clever.

Ever: Quickly! Finish things with Dark Pulse!

Skoll: -lets out another howl as obscura gathers between her horns, and blasts the Noivern point-blank-

Critical hit!

Noivern fainted!

Ever: Yes!

Skoll: -yips happily-

Drasna: Dear me, that was quick...seems you've beaten all of the Elite 4! But I do hope you come back! My dragons are always hungry!

Ever: ....Uh, right. Okay.

-flees-

-a tall boy steps out into the light. Someone looking closely would note that his legs are oddly stiff, his arms oddly noodly, and his face oddly flat...and blue-
