"Awesome thanks!" Jason grinned, "And I'm Jason, or Mahado the Wandering Magician. I took part in the Cipher raid with you guys, and I guess I'm part of the J-Team now."

Alexiel's Office

"And what exactly is this huge pile of paper about?" asked Alexiel, while still looking at his own files.

"<Probably looking around the base, I think she does that when she's not working.>" said the Zoroark, as he ate.

Pyrite Town

-Falchion is dragged off by Edge, looking very, very confused, whilst Herbert shrugs and follows behind.-

Falchion: <Erm... whatever you say, sir. I mean, whatever you say.>

Herbert: Urgh... fine. Also, you ran into Regina? I guess I'll take the fact that you're still alive as a good sign, then.

Pyrite Hotel

Bishop: <The only other candidates were a trollish Alakazam, a thoroughly amoral Bisharp, and a Monferno with the work ethic of a Slakoth. In the circumstances, I believe he was the best choice.>

Alexiel's Office

Titan: Those are the transfer requests. Rest assured that I am not expecting you to read them all, however. For the time being, all I require is two signatures here and here.

-He points out the dotted lines on the paperwork, whilst Omega tilts her head at the Zoroark.-

Omega: <Isn't it your job to keep an eye on her or something?>

Neptune: <Then there you are. I don't suppose the Weavile your trainer gave mine would be any better?>

Jacob: "Huh. A Magician? Nice to meet you Jason. I'm Jacob. Jacob Iridis. Proffesional battler. Nice to see our team growing."

Edge: <Like I said, she caused explosions by looking at things. I think without Ivy giving him directions Pallad would have been crushed. We got her to escape but that's about it. How empaths can survive around things like Shadows.... this team has to be very strong. I'm not anything of the sort and I could feel and almost see the anger and hate in those things.>

"Nice to meet you too!" Jason agreed,

"And a professional battler? That must be interesting. How successful are you?"

Pyrite Town

Sakura and Grant look at Edge and Herbert as they approach

"Oh, hi there." said Sakura, smiling

Alexiel's Office

Alexiel then signs the papers and goes back to his files

"Done, have a nice day." said Alexiel

"<I got the day off. Someone else is watching her for me.>" said the Zoroark, eating.

"<I can see how you and your trainer get along.>" said Duke, looking rather impatient.

Miles is hanging around the hotel.

Herbert: I guess I've just gotten used to them? I mean, Bishop spent at least two months like that. They still give me a headache whenever I'm around them for to long, though...

-He comes to Sakura and Grant, and nods.-

Herbert: Hey. Apparently Edge thinks we should be talking to each other.

Falchion: <Obvious implications of that aside, I take it you two are holding up okay?>

Pyrite Hotel

Bishop: <...No. No she most certainly would not.>

Alexiel's Office

Titan: Thank you, sir.

-He folds his arms.-

Titan: On an entirely different note, I take it that you have had no luck in utilising the locket's unique properties?

-Omega shrugs.-

Omega: <Fair enough. So, you two ever do anything other than laze around the place and eat? And occasionally kill things to death, in the Shadow's case.>

Jacob: "I thought I was pretty good before joining. I was poor and without parents so I got into illegal tournaments. After about two years I found my strategy and won every battle I got into every day for about five years, which is how I made most of my money. After a short break and events I'd rather not go into, I found the team and quickly learned that while I may be good, maybe one of the best, I am by no means the best or even really close to that. So all in all I'm marginally successful, but, well, there's always a bigger fish, eh?"

Edge: -Waves-

Pyrite Town

"We're fine, Seth was attacked by Regina yesterday though." said Sakura, looking mildly concerned

"He's alive and not crippled if you're wondering." said Grant, waving at Edge

Alexiel's Office

"So you do know what it does and just doesn't want to tell me, good to know." said Alexiel, still focused on his files

"<I don't think you have been doing much yourself, have you?>" asked Zoroark

"<The only time I ever managed to do something was when I first encountered that Herbert boy, I still had a lot to do to him, but she didn't let me do that.>" said Duke, looking rather cross.

Operations HQ

-The displaced Peon does indeed run into Verax-

Albert: "...Hello again."

Pyrite Town

-The non-Shadow members of Maggie's team are gathered outside their balls-

Maggie: "Alright, you may or may not have heard, but I managed to snag another Shadow."

Kernel: <...Another one?>

Scouter: <Indeed!>

Maggie: "So... Might as well introduce him."

-She releases the Rampardos from its ball-

Rampardos: -gives a loud roar-

-Spiral retreats further into her shell-

Spiral: <Stay away! Please don't eat me! I don't taste good!>

Maggie: "He's not going to-"

"Actually, strike that, he might..."

Volcamel: <That> -sniffs- <doesn't really help much...>

Maggie: "Yeah..."

Kernel: <You really should put a hold on capturing Shadows, you know?>

Maggie: "...Fine. Any after him go to the Purification Chamber."

"But anyway..."

"From what I can tell, Rampardos is probably stronger than any other Pokemon on the team-"

Damburst: <Aren't you forgetting a certain dragon?>

Maggie: "-even though pretty much all of you have an advantage against him type-wise, so... just be on guard in case something happens."

Sweetie: <Leave it to me! If he crosses me, I will strike fear into his heart!>

Chum: -to Spiral- <You know, if you joined the crew, we'd certainly be willing to offer protection.>

Spiral: <No! Pirates are more in danger of being eaten!>

Scouter: <Can protect you fine!>

Volcamel: <I could> -sniffs- <try and help with that too.> -sniffs-

Chum: <Fine, then.>

-Maggie then gets Bishop's test-

Maggie: "Oh, yeah, time for that meeting, then."

Kernel: <That Rampardos going too?>

Maggie: "...Given what happened with Scouter, I'm not sure that's a good idea."

Scouter: <Admittedly in agreement!>

Volcamel: <Just the> -sniffs- <Prinplup, then?>

Maggie: "Actually, the Grimer's going too."

"Must be the dirtier air, but she seems a lot more at ease around here. And she's willing to give the meeting a try."

"Could one of you take them there at any rate? It's apparently in a room in the Pyrite Hotel."

Scouter: <Certainly!>

Chum: <I can do it too.>

Maggie: "Alright, then."

-She sends out the Prinplup and the Grimer-

-Scouter and Chum then begin escorting them to the hotel room Bishop rented-

Herbert: Really? Glad to hear he's okay, then... at least now there should be less attacks by Shadows, considering that we've hit the place where they're produced.

Pyrite Hotel

-Bishop nods at Neptune.-

Bishop: <That would certainly be appreciated. The more the merrier, I suppose. Plus it might help to have some less homicidal peoplemons around in order to balance things out.>

-He notices Scouter, Chum, and the two Shadows approaching.-

Bishop: <Ah, hello. As you can most probably see, we have not yet begun our meeting.>

Alexiel's Office

-Titan sighs.-

Titan: All I know is that you will have no luck uncovering said properties. And even if you did, you would not be able to make use of them. You stand to gain nothing by keeping hold of it.

-He then shoots an evil look at Duke.-

Titan: Despite your custodian's incompetence, that is the one thing I will commend her for.

Omega: <Not really. I help deal with some of the more troublesome test subjects every now and again, though. You'd be surprised how easy it is to get them to shut up.>

Lillith: (counting the prize money she won from a few quick battles) Hmm... A decent amount of money, I guess. Too bad you didn't go into Reverse Mode, though. (shrugs) Well, I think my mother wanted me to do some things for her. Arlen, take the Seviper to the meeting, will you?

Arlen: (nods) <Of course, Lillith.>

Shadow Seviper: (hisses)

Arlen: <Come on, let's go. Setsuna and the Minccino are probably already on their way there.>

- Arlen starts escorting the Seviper to the location of the meeting -

Jason nodded,

"Impressive. I myself am the Kanto Magician's Circle's emissary and representative to the Orre region. I do battle a fair deal on my journeys, I own quite a few badges, as well as co ordinating and building my own tricks etc., but being a magician, my battle and contest style is... unconventional to say the least."

Alexiel's Office

"And how do you know I wouldn't be able to use it?" asked Alexiel

Duke didn't seem to care at all about the look he was getting, though he grins "<Oh yeah. The boy was your son wasn't he? I would've loved to see your face if I had killed him the way I wanted.>"

"<Fight starting in a few minutes.>" Zoroark thought, still casually eating.

Pyrite Town

"Yes, at least that." said Sakura, sighing in relief

"Still, Regina must be really tough as a Shadow, even I am afraid of fighting her. Seth didn't even manage to get close to her and he resists her main moves." said Grant.

Operations HQ

Verax: "Oh hey Albert! Hanging around here again? ... Didn't you work for Snagging and Distribution? I'm glad you made it out okay. Some didn't, I hear. Buuuut, you know I don't know why but I kind of actually like you, so feel free to stick around here until you figure out what you're doing."

-He grins- "Are you holding up okay anyways?"

Edge: -Becomes content to sit back and listen to the conversation without saying anything-

-Crewe is skulking around here somewhere-

-Herbert shrugs.-

Herbert: Shadows are tough. Or to be technical, they have no self-imposed limits or sense of self-preservation. Either way, fighting them is a thoroughly unpleasant experience, empath or not.

Alexiel's Office

Titan: Unless you have untapped Auric abilities which you have kept concealed up until this point - a fact which I would have easily picked up on - then to you the locket will remain nothing more than a useless trinket.

-He looks back at Duke, still managing to keep his tone and expression level.-

Titan: Attempting to antagonise me will get you nowhere. You are nothing more than a tool which can be easily discarded once it becomes more trouble than it is worth.

-Omega tenses almost imperceptibly.-

-Neptune has returned with Lady-

Neptune: <She's here.>

Lady: <Now, don't worry about a thing, dearie. I'll be an excellent supervisor.>

Scouter: <Appears so!>

Prinplup: <...Why not?>

Albert: "I'm... fine."

"And as for what I'm doing, I was planning on transferring here."

Jacob: "Unorthodox usuage of relatively normal techniques is an easy way to gain an edge in battle. I can appreciate that."

Verax: "Oh really? I'm sure I can help streamline the application process, however you'd probably end up working under me, if I did that. Otherwise I'm sure I can bring it up with Tokarev."

-Crewe may find herself near a Hydreigon that is entertaining itself by knawing on a bone about half it's size-

-Bishop does tense slightly upon being addressed by the Prinplup, but shakes it off.-

Bishop: <Well, because at the moment we appear to be lacking a number of attendees.>

-He then notices Setsuna, Arlen, and their respective Shadows.-

Bishop: <Ah, good afternoon! Right, unless anyone has any reasons why we should postpone the meeting, I'd say we are ready to begin.>
