After all the crap I've been through, to die in a mere warehouse fire would be really embarrassing!

-he takes a deep breath and appears to sort out his thoughts before continuing-

Amhlaidh: From what I can gather, I have committed two grievances against you. I deceived you when I joined your alliance against Lord Yusei, and I became close with your wife.

-he pauses again-

Amhlaidh: I am afraid I can not justify my service to the Ghost Lord in any way I believe you have not heard before. I owed the man my life, and felt myself honor bound to repay him with my servitude. He ordered me to join your alliance. I will say, however, that I regret following his orders to the extent that I did. I considered him a friend, and was willfully blind to the evil he wrought on good people. All of Ransei has my apologies, especially those I deceived and hurt personally. I have already extended an apology to Sir Lucanus. Unfortunately, I did not have the chance to send one to you before I received your own messenger.

-he bows his head-

Amhlaidh: I am truly sorry for the wrong I have done to you, Lord Kaius. I never personally intended harm on you or your allies, as little consolation as that may be.

-he looks up again-

-Kori sniffs the air, then bristles and grabs at Amhlaidh's shirt-

-he turns to search for it, and as he turns around the roof by the entrance collapse, blocking the exit and landing on Amhlaidh and Kaius. Kori was quick enough to leap out of the way-

Alexiel stays silent, enough for one to think he went back to sleep, until he broke his silence.

"By the way, I've learned that your son has been missing for a while now, I'm guessing you must be worried about him?" he asked, not even bothering to remove the newspaper.

Emma: The Rhydon? Yeah, she's in the lobby...I don't think she wanted to be disturbed, though.

-Kaius remained silent as Amhlaidh spoke.-

-Now he's silent because there's a burning piece of roof on top of him.-
