Finally someone made a thread about it.

It was an interesting game. Nice plot twists.

Should be considered the Spiritual Sequel / Spiritual Successor to Ace Attorney.

I completely lucked out on that one. I was like "Hey, did he say EVERYWHERE? Like, I could... Oh god it's working."

I love his movements at that moment by the way.

Which demo? The one on the Nintendo UK site, or the Nintendo Channel download?

I just picked it up this weekend and was thinking of starting a thread if you hadn't.

I like it, but I don't like the linearity of the puzzles. This seems like a game mechanic that should have multiple solutions instead of just one, and encourages the player to experiment. Getting Kamila to drop the headphones, for example, was ungodly frustrating because of the one solution they picked.

That's a pretty big beef, but I have enjoyed the game so far. I'm up to Chapter 8, so I'm not sure how much is left, but I get the feeling it's going to be pretty short. I've got a lot of guesses about where the plot is going, but something that's kept me pleasantly surprised is that aside from the traditional quirky characters, the game's story has gone in completely different directions than the Ace Attorney games.

Yeah, the Trial-and-Error Gameplay can get really aggravating at times.

So.......how's the game's length and difficulty?...probably won't have much difficulty, but how's it's length?

You'd be wrong on the difficulty. I hope you enjoy Trial-and-Error Gameplay, but it's sooooooooo satisfying to solve a puzzle. It's pretty long.

Also, I'm stuck on getting the rugby ball down. I know it involves one of the round balls.

Something else I really dig is the art style, especially the way the characters move in the environment. It looks a lot more fluid than most sprite games.

The rugby puzzle. That is the only puzzle I had to use a walkthrough on. This was the only hint I needed to solve it, though.

If you interact with the round ride thing he jumps on while he's on it, he stays on it longer, giving you time to do the rest.

Actually, I think the opposite. This game is the least aggravating Trial-and-Error Gameplay out there right now. Even less agravating than Another World, which is funny, since the animations and artstyle very much remind me of it.

I honestly think this game Needs More Love, and I sencerely believe it has a better (translated) script, at least, than Nine Hours Nine Persons Nine Doors . Yes I know it can get ridiculous with the Temsik meteor explanation, but... Everything is explained in a very down to earth fashion without ever getting excessivly wordy that it makes the characters and setting seem all the more credible.

[up][up] It definitely Needs More Love. Nine Hours Nine Persons Nine Doors needs it too. Which is upsetting, because those are the games I played most recently, and I adored both to tears.

I felt like it had a very Ace Attorney feel...to the point that I had to remember that there were actual supernatural elements involved, and there wasn't some "normal" explanation waiting around the corner (like floating Max in 2-3 or Larry's drawing in 3-5).

The first BIG plot twist is at the very end of Chapter 14, if I remember correctly. It was getting late, and I decided that I'd finish Chapter 14 and go to bed. And then I actually finished. And it was all I thought about until I was done with classes the next day. And then I started up Chapter 15 and was hit with another major twist. *sigh* The trope page is right; this game really is just a pile of plot twists near the end.
