The Token generator means you can run one less Crystal Beast name for Rainbow Dragon stuff, but that's not much of a consolation.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?So like. It doesn't really solve the problem, because you're just running a mediocre token generator instead of the seventh name. And considering the best way to get Rainbow Dragon stuff going is via Ultimate Crystal Magic, I'm not sure this even makes it easier in practice.
The counter trap looks good, though.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."New Blackwings just dropped but YGOrg's website is broken. So if anyone has an alternative link that'd be appreciated.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? There's the Pojo link, but there's no images.
It coincidentally uses the Ygorganization post as its source too.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.So we also have a "Black-Winged Assault Dragon" now.
Seeing as it needs a Tuner Synchro and 1+ non-Tuners, I'm guessing this would've been an Accel Synchro in the anime?
EDIT: Wrong thread, meant to post in our Master Duel one.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Ban list is out

Well that's an interesting list.
The biggest change I'm a fan of is the first one. Verte's gone!
The sad, REAL American dichotomyIt's kind of... surprisingly little I care about for such a big list. Like Verte being gone is obviously great, we got... strange Halq and Hala-adjacent hits that I can't really intuit what the consequence will be. And we get Prank-kids dying for Adventure's sins. And a lot of stuff that doesn't really matter.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Btw, when karx (oops actually tzitzi) said the banlist is out, they also meant effective immediately, so eveeyone has to scramble around to fix their decks

I didn't post the list lol.
Also, there's a YCS this month (in like a week?) so that's a problem.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? It's probably not gonna matter, but Salads be winning this list.
Next full list no earlier than Christmas.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyIt's starting to feel like some form of DM era now. Monster Reborn, Harpie's Feather Duster, Raigeki, Dark Hole, and now Change of Heart and Yata Garasu are legal again somehow.
Is Pot of Greed now the only card that has NEVER come off?
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."And likely never will. No matter how far the game advances, there's no way Konami can justify letting THE free draw 2 off the list.

Pot of Greed did rotate on/off the list before, but yeah, I don't see why it would ever come off yet again.
also, Graceful Charity never came off fully(did rotate though). Others include that have come back would be Breaker, Injection Fairy Lily, Chaos Emperor Dragon, Ring of Destruction, Crush Card Virus(and so on, though some of these were via an erratum).
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol. With how many nerfed versions of Pot of Greed already exist and them being incredibly powerful on their own, it's clear Konami has no intention of removing it from the banlist like ever.
Pot of Greed is legal in the Rush Duel format, but it's way less impactful there between the "draw until hand is 5" mechanic and the fact that it's a Legend card or something. (You can only have one Legend card.)

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?...I have no idea what the hell Change of Heart is supposed to do nowadays. Why bring it back?
Edited by fredhot16 on May 17th 2022 at 2:38:03 AM
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. It's a slightly better Mind Control. Nobody even plays that.
And it's because we're getting a lot of nostalgia based cards from the DM era. It's kind of an easy time to bring this stuff back, cause people like playing old character decks and such. Regardless of any kind of impact it could have.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol."Change of Heart" is supposed to change your opponent's heart so that they let you win, of course!
Gah, I got Armed Ninja'd! D:

"What ails you, my friend? Stay a while, and listen~"Its not slightly better, its worlds better. It has no restriction on what it can target, unlike brain control, and are free to do whatever you want afterwards. Probably wont be in a lot of main decks but as a side card? Its gonna be nasty.
Let us not forget the horror that was 2015 snatch steal format...
It's worlds better on paper. In practice, it's not going to do much either way. Mind Control's reason for being on the list is due to it being an easy fodder card, not simply stealing a monster. This doesn't change much besides allowing for attacking and tributing... which would be great if most of the best monsters weren't target-proof. That's why it won't be doing much to note. And why it's so easy to bring back.
Snatch Steal was also in a format with tons of other cards and playstyles. There was no Heavy Storm to kill backrow later, meaning you were pretty limited in using your one for one backrow killing cards to remove it or another card. It was also easier to search, unlike Change of Heart or Mind Control(and Brain Control, but, yeah, it's trash now. It was good beforehand at that point).
Different cardpools and interactions. Snatch Steal would be better than Change of Heart due to being faster and more reliable right now. On paper, it's often on par or worse, though.
The game really has changed a lot when lots of old borked cards are easy to bring back. XD
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.
Yeah, "Number 2: Ninja Shadow Mosquito" is the fake one while "Number 2: Numeron Gate Dve" is the real one.
"What ails you, my friend? Stay a while, and listen~"As for "Number 1: Infection Buzz King", I don't think it's the only remaining fake Number Card? I mean. We haven't gotten "Number 10: Dark Illumiknight" yet.
Come to think of it, aren't there supposed to be like a million fake Numbers with only five been shown in ZEXAL? Would be interesting to see what they might've been…
