I just had a really fun duel that pushed me back from the BRINK:
- My opponent was running a Banish/Inferno Reckless Summon/Mystic Mine deck
- I didn't know he was running any of those cards, so he baited me into attacking him with a Kaiju he gave me
- He activated Inferno Reckless Summon while he had Soul Absorption on the field
- Both of us wind up banishing 2 Necrofaces face up (which was all of mine), leaving me with an empty deck and 8000 life point, and him with 1 card and 32750 life points
- BUT I have a Nemesys Adrastea in my hand, and he didn't know I had Nemeses as my main deck theme
- So I special summon Nemeses Corridor from banish, and use it to bring Nemesys Umbrella back to my hand
- I use Umbrella to return a Necroface to my Deck, to special summon itself (with Necroface in my deck, I can either summon it, or if he banishes it, he decks himself out), and give me a card in my hand to survive one turn
- I also have some type of summon left, so I summon, and use the card I brought out and Corridor to link
- That puts Corridor in my grave, fresh for me to add to my hand with Umbrella
- With Umbrella in my hand, I return Secure Gardna to my Extra Deck
- I now have 2 cards in my deck, and because he hasn't activated it yet, I know he doesn't have DD Dynamite yet. If I can just survive to my next turn, I've decked him out.
- ...He topdecks his last Necroface, returning all cards to the decks, and giving it 8600 attack
- I forget how, but he attacks one monster I have, leaving me with 1800 LP, but surviving the turn
- With the right number of Nemeses plays, I'm able to get out Topologic Trisbaena to remove his back row, link that into Secure Gardna, then get Archnemeses Protos out to declare Dark, getting rid of his Necroface, and keeping me safe from Gizmek Orochi, and one damage per turn
- On the next turn after that, my board for most of the duel winds up being Secure Gardna, and every Nemeses monster except Keystone
- With Ash Blossom (that I've had since his IRS) to counter his Pot of Disparity, and Harpie's Feather Durter to remove the eventual Mystic Mine he brings out, I'm able to get him down to an eventual no cards in hand and nothing useful in grave, then whittle him all the way down from 32750 to 0
- The duel still ended with him having one more card in his deck than me, but he had 28, and I had 27. And I lived with 1800 Life Points
- He revealed that his last card was a kaiju, tributing one of my monsters to summon it, so that he could lose with grace
- Out of respect, I used his monster to Link Summon Topologic Zeroboros (my ace of aces). my final monsters on the field were Archmeneses Protos, Archnemeses Eschatos, and Topologic Zeroboros
So I overcame a 24,750 Life Point deficit with no cards in deck. It makes sense that the low level Nemeses monsters are named after species facing extinction level events threatening their biodiversity, and with the Beginning, the End, and Infinity between them, I come back from an inescapable position, and secured the win.note
And the best part is neither of us rage quit. We were both willing to win or lose with honor. So whoever you are, Willodamn, thank you for an amazing duel.

It was like Yami vs Noah, or Kaiba vs Ishizu, meets the opposite of DORO, MONSUTA CADO. I feel like there was a duel where someone managed to win with no cards in their deck, though.
I do wish I could've seen their face when I put a card back into my deck. They did do the preemptive "GG" when I was down to 0 cards and that huge deficit, but in their defense, very few cards or decks could've gotten out of that situation.
I hope I get to rematch them sometime. If I were them, I'd add Pot of Acquisitiveness to my deck or side deck, in case I banished all my combo pieces. It's a good thing they topdecked Necroface, otherwise I'd have won a lot sooner.

Yami won during the Grand Prix arc with that. But I don't remember any other cases. It's a very rare thing as is. ...It's probably a little more common during Speed Duels(TCG, not the anime/manga stuff) since the decks are smaller.

I wish I could remember the full play by play. Ah well. If you're wondering why I have Secure Gardna, my deck runs a lot of Level 1s and half of my Link monsters (in an all-Link Extra Deck) are Cyberse. So a Level 1 into Linkuriboh into Link Apple usually gets me 2/3 of the way to Archnemeses Protos or Eschatos.
Unfortunately, my deck is really low on Negates, only having 2 Ash, 3 Crossout Designator, and 1 Infinite Impermanence in the main deck. There is a good bit of non-targeting, non-destructive removal, but some of it needs to be set up. There's also a good bit of prevention. I just wish I had more negates that actually gelled with my deck.
Oh, you guys probably realized I meant Inferno Tempest, not Inferno Reckless Summon. And rereading that is also what helped me figure out how I Linked: Inferno Tempest leaves the monsters on the field as is, which for me was just his Kaiju (Jizukiru). Adrasta brought back Corridor, Corridor brought Umbrella to hand, Umbrella summoned to bring back a Necroface, Corridor and his Kaiju linked into Link-Wynn Charmer, Umbrella brought Corridor back into hand, Corridor brought Keystone back into the deck to special summon itself.

I can't believe they decided to tease us with Cyberdark End Dragon and not show any art.
inb4 they just print the card Zane used that turns all Machines in the GY into Dragons so the stupid hybrid deck can function.

While that make for interesting gimmicks I get the feeling it's gonna be nerfed to "Cyberdark monsters can equip Machine monsters in the GY with their effect" in practice.

YES! I really like the non-Dharc Charmers.
As my deck currently stands, this wouldn't be a huge boon yet, but I can always find a way to add some Light monster(s) in. Possibly Dogmatika Ecclesia or Fleurdelis:
- Special summon Link Apple, use it to summon Linkuriboh (or Relinquished Anima), special summon Dogmatika, Link 2 into Link Lyna (assuming it wasn't banished for Link Apple), special summon an opponent's light monster, Link 3 into Topologic Trisbaena, special summon a Nemeses, to either clear back row and burn, or link 4 into Zeroboros.
- Special summon Link Apple, special summon an Elemental Nemeses, Link 2 into any Elemental Charmer (or special summon a Dogmatika, Link 2 into Lyna first), special summon whichever Nemeses or Dogmatika wasn't summoned, special summon an opponent's monster, Link 4. (or the Trisbaena option above).
- Or link 4 into Apollousa.

Have a weird Synchro archetype of arctic bear mechs.
And then Dark Synchros were real but they were bears and also robots.

The interesting thing to me is that this is the second time a constellation themed archetype was added in a DB set (Bearcti=Ursa Major, Draitron=Draco). And they also do weird things for the mechanics they support as well.
I hope this is a trend that would hold for a few more sets.
EDIT: okay turns out I was wrong, only the synchros reference the constellation and even then its just the Big Dipper asterism.
