Like I said, the cards in generalseemed geared for supporting level 9monsters in general. With that said (again), True Kings, as you mentioned, and maybe The_DESPAIR_uranus.dek(nvm, though that card was Level 9) seems like the only beneficiaries besides themselves so far.

The World Legacy Guardragon looks a lot like a True King, Idlee especially in the quick play spell resembles both Tierra / Sophia and the depiction shown in Void Expansion.
What I wanna know is where in the hell is Avram during all this?
Is he just ghosting the apocalypse?

Yeah I think we're long overdue for an upgrade of him. He's not gonna win that with just his crusadia set.

The new D-HERO stuff is a lot of fun. Specifically, Dominateguy and Fusion Destiny are pretty great. Bit of a shame that D-HER Os are the only real viable HERO deck these days, but oh well.

Phew, decided to go back to playing resonator synchros and ooh boy it was blast. had one of my favorite duels ever against a thunder dragon player, and a really great tag too, with a lot of back and forth. Two kaibas against kaito and jack atals, with kaito's deck featuring revolver and zane. The only way to make it better would have been to throw DDD in the mix somewhere.
Can I take a minute to say how much I love scarright ? Like, I love all the visual callbacks in the design. The fact he's literally wearing a cast on his right arm that references how Junk fucking warrior punched the shit out of his right arm at the end of 5d's, how his nuking effect is directly meant as vengeance towards said junk warrior. Even his name should reference that but the english localization fucked it up. Where do you see a light in that card that's literally dakr attribute, dammit ? What's scarred is his RIGHT arm, not his LIGHT.
It also basically implies that junk warrior punched Vanilla RDA so hard he fixed his shitty effect. that's just precious.
I also love that nuking effect. There's nothing better against a limping opponent who just broke your board to resurrect or summon scarright, summon a bunch of mosnters and then win by nuking the board and burning them for 2K+ damage. Cowboy for game, only more badass.
Also with needlfiber, you can pull the silliest shit of summoning any RDA and a tuner, then tag out during your opponent's turn into formula synchron, then combine accel synchro with burning soul to make King calamity during the opponent's turn, effectively shutting down his plays. that's ridiculously hard to do in my current build but it's that's what makes it so badass.
The only downside is that the deck has a real hard time to extend his plays further than making bane + abyss, and that sometimes you open without any non-tuner and you just look silly summoning a bunch of resonators for nothing.

It's not bad, just really friggin underwhelming, especially given its summoning requirements.

No, it's straight up bad. A link 4 with no stats that requires a synchro and the proceeds to shit out a vanilla that has at best the statline of blue eyes is worse than underwhelming.
Darkness metal blacksteel does more to extend synchro plays than this and he was already just okayish.
The only conceivable use a synchro deck could make out of that would be, ironically enough, banishing life stream dragon to get a level 8 tuner on the field and then use another level 8 to make the OG ultimaya. And i think there's still simpler to do to achieve that.

At least the Assault Mode support is nice. And this synchro support is cute, if nothing else... weren't there supposed to be Xyz support somewhere?

I never really noticed any of the complaints they had with Odd Eyes archetype.

So after reading the new krawler boss again....wow this card is amazing. As long as its flipped up it perma negatea activated opponent monater effects? Not only is it easier to SS than i thought, its also an excellent tech in Prediction Princess

Also loving the new Krawler, thing is huge and can be SS'd from deck by all the other krawlers, but not sure what to do with it besides being a meaty wall and a decent attacker with some boosts.its destruction eff is different from the other krawlers so it cant help witht he swarm engine, hmm.
