That is awesome. I love how you can sit on the tree stumps. Too bad I'm not getting a 3DS. Maybe when I get a job.

Is it wrong that I squeed over the tree stumps?
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaI certainly hope not. I loved that more than the swimming.
Diving? What's under there?
Man, I am so eager to play it! I really liked all of them. (Though, for some reason, I played Wild World the shortest. Might be because I'm a design-freak and disliked how my patterns barely showed up. City Folk could have had more stuff...)
I love all the changes so far. The only thing is I feel bad for my one friend, because she dislikes how the player character's new proportions look. I think it turned out okay, but I wish you could choose your character's height. That's be neat!
No.Pearl diving, possibly?
I actually quite like how the new proportions are. They seem more human-like than the ones from WW/CF, to me anyways.
Also, I didn't really notice this before: in WW/CF, were you able to have two animals in the same house, visiting or whatever? Cos Nibbles and Gaston were in the same house at 0.35-0.43 in the video.
Well there were the birthday parties.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more! This cannot come quickly enough into my life.
i. hear. a. sound.Maybe you'll be able to catch fish by hand!
Still not a big fan of how the Mii Masks look in comparison to the character's bodies, but it looks less creepy now than it did in City.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaThat. Looks. Awesome. My mom will love that.
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DAh. I think I've gone to maybe one birthday party, so not surprised I didn't realise. Though one of my WW neighbours is having a party in a couple of days.
Scorpions are able to be caught in September, right?
DAMMIT! Now I need to somehow magically get a 3DS.
*grumble grumble...*
“DAMMIT WHEN I HEAR 'SPACE CQC' ALL I CAN THINK OF IS BIG BOSS WITH A FISHBOWL ON HIS HEAD, STRANGLING AN ASTRONAUT OUTSIDE THE ISS."I want this game! Sadly, though, the heads aren't as realistic-ish as the bodies. It feels uncanny to look at the boy and girl humans and some of the other animals as well.
I now have money. Should I buy a second copy of Wild World?
Well now I have a 3DS so I can get this when it comes out. =3
You might wanna try out Magicians Quest Mysterious Times. Just make sure you get a Gamestop receipt so you can return it if you don't like it (unless I'm missing the point and you've played it already). If there are any other AC's you haven't played before, but you have a Wii, go for it.
Basically, buy Wild World if those other 3 (4 if you count AC 3DS) don't interest you.
Also, mind telling me how much fun WW was? (Has never played it b4)

Wild World was my favorite, personally. Liked it better than City Folk at any rate. Though sadly, I sold my copy to Gamestop one I got City Folk. Though I'm waiting to see how well the 3DS game turns out, as I might get a 3DS just for it and a few others if it's any good instead of buying a new copy of Wild World.

Wild World was actually the Animal Crossing I stuck with the longest, though it's kind of the most gimped. If you have City Folk, I don't think you really need it unless you absolutely must have portable Animal Crossing—it doesn't have any real-world holidays, which means no holiday sets. It has the fewest townspeople, fewest people possible per town, everyone has to have the same house, no basement, it doesn't have the cool fashion editor from City Folk, you can't save patterns, etc. The main thing it has over other AC games is that it has a huge house, with five rooms to it (six if you count the save room), but other than that, if you already have City Folk, I'd call it unnecessary.
But if it's merely the experience you're looking for, I do recommend Magician's Quest (or Enchanted Folk, as the PAL peeps know it). It's got more options for playing with and hanging out with your townsfolk (you can take them places), the magic spells are both fun and useful, the storage system is much better than Animal Crossing's, some lovely original music, which you can actually play on different instruments, and, of course, quests! The main dings against it are that making money is far less expedient than it is in AC, especially since you can't sell bugs directly (you have to trade them in for Vendor Trash, and you have to do that one by one), there's far fewer clothing design options (you can only have like one or two patterns at once), and a fair amount of Guide Dang It!. But I think it's still pretty good.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaAw, just a big house?
List of stuff I want:
- Animal Crossing: Wild World
You can save patterns in Wild World, just not a lot of them. And the houses aren't all the same either.
What's Gamestop? That's an American shop, yeah? Unfortunately, I'm in Australia. Also I just bought another copy yesterday. I shall have fun with a new town!
I find City Folk (which is called Let's Go To The City here) to be confusing. I think it's because of either the controls, or the fact that there's only one screen. The only thing that I can remember that I like better is the fact that when you sell stuff at Nooks, there's a button that allows you to transfer everything in your pockets to the selling thing. But I just can't get used to the controls, so I can't really play it.
That Magician's Quest thing looks interesting, but I just really wanted another Wild World. Maybe when I get a job I'll be able to find it somewhere.
