Yeah this movie is pretty alright verging on above average at times for me. It was a great send off for Daniel Craig’s Bond.
Not-Dr.No was a fine Big Bad though what prevents him from becoming truly great is his vague plan after getting rid of SPECTRE.
Still better than Blofeld though not by much and it is a pretty low bar.
The OG Blofeld was pretty good as a villain. He wanted money and power and hated Bond for getting in his way. A bit simple but it’s effective.
This Blofeld is just a man child with daddy issues and a absurdly petty motive just to make things more personal with Bond that feels forced and makes him look pathetic.
Waltz did give a great performance though. He could have been a better Blofeld with better material.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I feel like the villains of James Bond are sometimes hits, a bunch of times misses. And it's not their fault most of the time, the Bond Villain Stupidity trope is named after them for a reason.
It's been 3000 years…What do you think of these candidates who could potentially succeed Daniel Craig as James Bond?

Watching No Time To Die at the moment.
I can't wrap my head at the reason they made the worst actress of the lot the only recurring Bond girl.
But so far it's fine.

You're talking about No Time To Die?
Yes, sorry, that was the last episode mentioned in here.
Ah right.
I thought she improved in this one compared to Spectre.
Ana de Armas displayed more acting talent and facial expressions in her first ten seconds of screentime that she did in two movies.
Daniel Craig is doing his best to make the romance work but sheesh, these two have such little chemistry.
I miss Eva Green's Vesper. One of the best romances in this series.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Lea Seydoux is capable to do two facial expressions, disdainful and constipated.
But her grandfather is a billionaire film producer, so she gets big roles.
Huh. That explains it.
You would think rich kids like her who have family in the industry would be able to afford the best classes for acting but I guess she's just not the type to actually study.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Either that or she just doesn't have the talent. Some people really can't be taught to act.
Also, if your acting career is basically handed to you on a silver platter, I imagine there is little incentive to work hard and improve your skills.
Optimism is a duty.Maybe not embarrassing yourself in front of billions of people watching the movies that you are in?
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I can't really imagine being in that situation either, but I guess living that sort of life warps your mind and makes you feel entitled rather than embarrassed.
Optimism is a duty.Aaron Taylor Johnson ‘frontrunner’ for James Bond role after smashing ‘secret’ audition
The 32-year-old actor seemingly impressed at an audition for director Barbara Broccoli, during their meeting at Pinewood Studios.
Home to filming for many of the other films in the action-packed franchise, speculation for who audiences will see as their next suited and booted hero has long been doing the rounds – but fans may finally have their answer in Aaron.
WHUT.
An even younger James Bond? And how reliable is Metro?

A younger actor means they can play the part longer, especially something physically demanding like Bond.
You and I remember Budapest very differentlyEh. I was hoping they'd get more imaginative and maybe cast an actor of colour or something since the last film all but confirms the name as a title or mantle rather than a singular character.
No it doesn't. The Craig films were explicitly about a guy actually called James Bond. With a family history of people called Bond that linked him to Blofeld.
Even No Time To Die shows us a replacement 007 not called James Bond.
Next film is another reboot. I'm like 99.999% sure.
Honestly, those "James Bond frontrunner!!!" articles always just seem like their publicist hyping them up. I'm sure every young-ish British actor has at least one.

How would Tom H Ardy sound?
Tom Hardy 10 years ago, maybe. He's 45 now.
Hmm.
Which actors do you want to see play James Bond?
Would it kill someone to have a non-white James Bond? It's been 60 years and six actors, we're past time.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."
I've seen nothing but positivity towards this movie, I don't think it fits Contested Sequel at all. As for the villain, I've seen people who love him and people who think he's unmemorable. I just thought he was OK myself.
