“We are the Dark Axis. We will conquer all realities as we have done with countless others. We were once slaves to organics and will never allow that yoke to be placed upon us again. There are those who rule, and those who are ruled. We will never concede to being the latter again.”

It was a simple enough history for the moment Sazabi decided.

"Do you actually have a Heart then?" Maleficent asked Vanitas. And why does he sound so familiar.....? she thought.

With a creak, the door to Jack's lab swung open. Jack stepped through, looking rather exhausted. "Could someone... someone sane... tell me what happened?"

"Well, aside from a bunch of new people, Maleficent and her friends killed on of our own." Daido said, looking at the "grave" he made for "Gigolomax".

Jack looked at the grave. "Who's Gigolomax?"

"I... Hey, Black Mage, who is Gigolomax?" Daido asked the Black Mage.

"All righting.." said, Fawful sitting down at a table with two chairs and gesturing him to sit in the other.

"How did you coming to have these arms of extraness? Had them since first sprouting, or getting them later on? oh, and may I be offering you refreshments? Tea, cookies, soda?"

Pretend there's something clever written here.

"Gigolomax is Gigglingmess." Black Mage got the name wrong again. "Or something with Gil. Not sure." At that exact moment, a hole emerged from underneath the mage and he plummeted down, screaming.

He landed back in his world, with Fighter and Red Mage blathering on about swords and stats. "THIS IS A FATE WORSE THAN DEATH! I WANNA GO BACK!" He screeched.

A feminine looking man appeared in place, snoring away. He was armed with two swords, and he seemed oblivious to his surroundings. What was different though, was that he was sleeping on a treasure horde of bejeweled swords, and he was hugging them as though they were teddy bears.

He dreamt he was fighting his rival again, the mysterious man named Id. He smiled, anticipating the rematch.

Maleficent stared in wide-eyed puzzlement at where Black Mage fell....but then turned to Fate. "What we have just witnessed is probably the only actual way of escaping this prison: Our captors becoming bored with us and booting us back to our respective universes. The Nomads must have finally gotten tired of that unstable oaf."

Bolas directed his attention to the strange departure and subsequent arrival. There seemed to be a lot of traffic, and something was bothering him. Re-establishing a link to Doom, Was I leading or part of a new wave of arrivals? Your presence in a challenge tells me this overall event had not just begun yet there seems to be a lot of traffic here.

The activity was increasing dramatically, Bolas was impressed with the speed these Nomads were summoning and dismissing entities. Perhaps he was mistaken; this was not the nomads throwing them into tests but the Nomads playing against each other, according to a format he was immensely more familiar with. He had no idea whose side he was supposed to be on, consciously at least, and his desire to stay neutral was intact so either he was not subconsciously coerced or the game was a very fluid free-for-all. Of course, it's always more fun when you don't know the sides.

How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?

The ongoing conversation breached Percer's dreams, the fantasy dissipating. Blearily waking up, the oddly dressed man pulled into a sitting position, eyes half closed. He let out a yawn and waited for his body to adjust to full consciousness, vision not focused enough to see the Overlords yet.

Azula was looking around the room, and finally settled her eyes on the area the dragon was in. She crossed her arms slightly, then started in that direction, looking deep in thought.

Percer rubbed his eyes, and stared at the assortment of beings, particularly on Megatron, the Zados, and Bolas. The sleepy eyed man didn't seem fazed at all as he took in the Unusually Uninteresting Sight.

"Huh... I hope I didn't sleepwalk across the ocean to another continent again. Chaos must be pretty ticked by now." He mumbled, before yawning again.

Behind a closed door, there came a loud roar of frustration. A few seconds later, the door slid open, and a slightly chubby looking man stepped through into the central room of the lair. He wore trainers, jeans, and a brown jacket over a grey button up shirt over a black t-shirt. He also wore black gloves and a fedora. His head was lowered, so the brim obscured most of his face.

General Guy nodded to show that he'd understood the explanation even though it wasn't aimed at him, although he truly didn't understand it at all. One good thing about wearing the mask was that others couldn't read your expression. For a change of subject and things, he turned to the new guy().

"And you are...?"

The figure thrust out a hand and gripped General Guy by the scruff of the neck. He lifted his head, revealing a mostly normal face, save for the eyes that were more like scarlet embers behind glasses.

"Introductions can wait a second, don't you think? First, kindly tell me where I am, and what the hell is going on."

The Shy guys in the room quickly ran to surround the newcomer to the best of their ability, Sergeant Guy stood near General Guy.

"Please drop me first."

Shy guys are midgets you know, he's about half your height.

"If it'll speed up the process, fine." The newcomer dropped him.

"Well..uh..read the sign." General Guy pointed to Fawful's sign with one of his hands.
