Probably not. Since the Power of the Silver Flame isnt revealed to be an innate power of Innominat until it incarnated as Laphicet. She could be a soul born later from an earthpulse attuned to it. Since its not clear exactly how Seraphim being born works.
Eizan and Edna being family because they felt it on an instinctual level for example despite countless other Seraphs born from the same earthpulse. She could even be a Seraph Reincarnation of Seres if that exists for Seraphs as well..

I've just started replaying Tales of Xillia today. When I beat the game last year, I played as Jude. This time, I'm played through the Millia. I'm currently playing through the Millia route. I have over two hours so far.

So with Vesperia coming out in a little over a month, what do I need to know going into it? I've played very little of the series (Just the first couple hours of the Symphonia sequel.) so I'll be going into it basically blind.

Not a whole lot. It's mostly a Thematic Series with a few exceptions, and Vesperia isn't connected to any other games.
...Actually, a lot of the games have a bunch of easily missable sidequests, and Vesperia is one of them. Use a walkthrough if you're the completionist type.

When I played Symphonia, I always finished a boss fight with a Unison Attack (because I didn't know about Mystic Artes) and I feel that's the only way to cap off a big battle.

Yeah, this does look edgy. It could be interesting, but it’ll definitely be different. Do we know anything about the premise or the plot?
Thing is, even if it is leaving Japan, I’m not sure I trust it to stay that way after what happened with Rays. I’ll probably pass unless I hear good things about it. Although this probably isn’t a gacha game, so...I dunno, maybe it's not comparable.

...I'm not saying it's going to be bad, necessarily. It could be interesting, and I'm not trying to discourage anyone from giving it a try. I'm just personally wary of getting attached a mobile Tales game after they unceremoniously dropped global Rays just as it was getting really good. Unless it's a full game right off the bat - which is rare for mobile installments of existing franchises unless they're ports - I'm going to be cautious.

Tales twitter fandom is honestly the worst and its no wonder I am starting to veer towards Final Fantasy.
Also, Crestoria is proof that nobody at Namco studied history, they don't seem apologetic about the shit with global Rays at all

Also, with Joker being in Smash 5 can I at least hope for Lloyd? I know the boat for Velvet has long since, well, sunk since if they won't let her be in Tekken 7 or Soul Calibur 6 they sure as hell won't let her be in Smash Bros. But can I have Lloyd at least?
I’m definitely hoping he makes it. I’d be OK with any Tales rep, but he seems the most likely.
Cress would also be an awesome darkhorse vote that would still make sense too. And Namco only has one rep compared to sega, Konami and Capcom so its only fair.
Although I do kind of expect a Tekken or Soul Cal rep instead. Or the really lazy suckass route and spam KOSMOS again.

I didn't say I didn't want it to be Velvet. If it was I'd be happy since holy shit Namco are actually advertising her properly. I just doubt it'll happen.

But to be serious If they were to do a Swordsman since they tend to avoid wanting saturating Smash with them(With Echo Fighters being their preference when they don't have enough of a gimmick for FE), then they'd setlle for the dual wielders like Ludger and Lloyd. And if needed for a gimmick Ludger and Sorey Armatized with Meebo works.
