Yeah, I probably really shouldn't be surprised that this happened. It always happens when a a popular Youtuber talks about a thing.

Also, just to share my thoughts. I liked both his videos.

Man, despite this show having been shorter then iCarly, I feel like it had a much larger impact on me then that show did. Don't get me wrong, I loved iCarly growing up, but Victorious was how I ended up discovering TV Tropes. And was probably the one of the first (if not the first) show I read fanfiction for. I know that I used to obssess over reading it's wikia too. Like man this show really had a lot going for it. Good actors, good songs, interesting characters. For me, it's almost like the Invader Zim of live-action Nickelodeon shows. I wonder if it will influence anything like that show did.

It introduced the world to Ariana Grande, one of the most successful pop stars today, so that alone is a huge impact.

after several seasons of Victorious witnessing the the toxicity between them, you slowly realize that Jade low-key really was the better singer than Tori was.

Though credit to Tori because her duet with Jade was my favorite moment of the show. Probably the show's Crowning Moment of Awesome.

I mean I don't disagree but what do you mean realize after seasons. That was talked about in the fandom as Season 1.

Honestly, I think Tori is a very talented singer, but it is true that she only got the solos because she was the lead. Though I hated how some fans would and still do use that as an excuse to harass Victoria Justice.

On a different note, watching Take a Hint again makes it easy to realize why Jori became the most popular pairing even over Jade and Beck.

I'd forgotten this episode but Andre low-key falling for Jade is something I want to see come back up if they ever do a Victorious reunion like they did with icarly, Zoey 101, and Good Burger.

I had a few years ago about a Victorious reunion where the gang get back together, and Tori reveals that she had a crush on Jade only for Andre to point out how she called him crazy for the same thing and how that is hypocritical. It was a weird dream that was probably from reading too much fanfiction.

SO

1) You know it occurs to me that Trina is an awful older sister who treats Tori poorly... and she never develops out of this or gets any sort of redemption. Compared to Spencer, Drake, anx Josh that's kind of weird.

2) In the first ep, Andre tells Tori "play that funky music white girl" and Tori reminds him that she's Latina. This was a playful scene and nobody was tweeting about it.

3) In one episode Rex said something ridiculous, and Robbie told him to stop watching Fox News XD

4) The Bird Scene episode... yes I'm watching a Quinton review... but yeah that episode's plot didn't make sense. The whole point is to build confidence by making you reject the review the teacher gives you... and now because it was explained in front of the whole class, every students knows. Maybe Sikowitz modifies the test each year?

The Dan shows (for lack of a better term) have always had a large helping of Getting Crap Past the Radar, but with Victorious I feel they really bumped up against that wall as much as they could.

That's honestly just the tip of the iceberg, if I remember correctly.
