I'm gonna leak that a character from Pokemon's greatest rival in the Mons game genre is gonna be playable. Digimon? Nah. Yokai Watch? As if. Shin Megami Tensei? What? Fossil Fighter? No, I'm talking about the hit classic game you all clearly remember: Spectrobes.

Anyone else kinda hoping Simon and Richter's inclusion revives interest in Castlevania? It's been a decade now since the last game in the original continuity...

You'd think the Netflix series would help.

Konami's kind of a dragon who is hoarding franchises nobody else is allowed to have, though.

The problem isn't just that not enough people are interested in Castlevania. It's also because Konami isn't interested in making games.

Tbh, I can actually see Geno and Skull Kid showing up in the same trailer, thinking about it. It starts out focusing on Skull Kid, with him terrorizing Young Link, Zelda, and perhaps one or two other characters in a foresty area (with gameplay footage and appropriate music), then right when he's about to finish them off an energy beam comes out of nowhere to knock Skull Kid away. Cut over to a shadowy figure, who reveals himself as... Geno. Cue a remix of the Forest Maze music as we get footage of Geno fighting.

Now granted, that's probably not gonna happen since so far we seem to be introducing only one new unique character per trailer, but it would be an efficient and cool way of introducing them nonetheless.

I would honestly love to see Haken. Granted I've never played Endless Frontier but he was awesome enough in Project X Zone.

I mean, a brand new Castlevania game has been announced and been played by people already.

I mean outside of mobile games or pachinkos.
