Deleting your whole twitter account just to sell a fake leak has to be the most ridiculously over-the-top thing I've ever heard of. I think the leak just being real is far more likely.

A week old twitter account isn't worth anything.

I've heard that the president of Twitter's own Twitter Account was removed.

If that's true, then it means someone's twitter getting removed doesn't mean they're a real leaker, as it could always be from the messed up algorithm.

Anyways, I consider all leaks to be unlikely, at best, just because it's a huge game that's almost certainly popular, and every which character's going to be wanted in.

Oh, it was only a week old? Still, making a twitter account just to delete it to sell a fake leak is pretty ballsy. I wouldn't even be mad, that's just crazy enough to work.

Let me put it this way: Why would Nintendo suddenly start caring about that particular "leak" enough to get a Twitter account deleted when they haven't cared that much about any other one that has been confirmed?

Fair point. Still, that's some actual effort put in just to sell a fake leak, you gotta admire the commitment.

Maybe they want to be more focused on checking potential early authentic leaks anytime.

there's so much white noise out there with regards to leaks that the genuine article is just as questionable as the fake stuff. This guy deleting his twitter account is make naive people think he's worth paying attention to.

Honestly, they only take down Youtube videos. If it's some other site, it's not worth looking into. There's usually some other reason, including the leaker faking it to make themselves look good.

Apparently loz deleted his Gamefaqs account and then moved to Twitter. Supposedly he was going to stop leaking, then he does this with Isaac? Everything about this feels contradicting.

Unless he was using wiggle room loophole abuse type talk to continue leaking by framing it as what he personally hope what would happen, like him saying that Skull Kid is 90% playable. That way he could claim coincidence if Nintendo approaches him for leaking by saying that this what he merely wanted and wasn't technically leaking. But maybe Nintendo wouldn't have that excuse this time.
