Suddenly I imagine Wriggle in a fighting game, and she's one of those diminutive characters, but when she goes for a melee hit, a swarm of bugs come out of her hands and/or feet, forming into a giant fist and/or boot that actually delivers the blow.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...
I could see that. She'd also need a homing spellcard, I think.

I thought it'd be funny if the characters had an animation of freaking out because they're covered in bees, but mirror matches would make that a bit difficult. Maybe Wriggle's "OH GOD BEES" animation could convey her confusion or pique that the bees aren't listening to her.
