Dunno if Toyohime's fan has an official name. I call it Fan-tasy Heaven.

Song of the SirensWho's up next? Koakuma?

I could go for a Koakuma discussion.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersFaw said it better than I ever could have.

you'll then have a grave in the clouds where you won't lie too crampedto Horseless: You may not think this, but I think that Lunatic Blue sounds like Scarlet Symphony~Scarlet Phoneme
Song of the SirensApparently Mononobe no Futo was also married at one point.
That awkward moment where Kyoro is one of Satan's Generals. And Suwako rocked some guy's bones at some point.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersHe may have won (seriously, that was great Clarste), but can we fight for second?*
Anyway, Moon sisters. I do like how they seem almost like opposites, if that is the right word, to each other in a way. Yorihime seems to be a workaholic, Toyohime is carefree, Yorihime is a warrior (uses swords, fights in battle), while Toyohime is more of a scholer (wields fans, reads books), Yorihime is strict, Toyohime is laid back, Yorihime wears red, Toyohime wears blue and so on. Yet at the same time, they get along just fine and, in fact, you'd probably be unable to drive them apart. As if they completed each other.
Also, the thought of Yorihime worrying about Toyohime and descending to Earth to be with her seems adorable to me.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Incidentally, their husbands are supposedly Eirin's grandnephews or something. So... nepotism?
Advanced civilization is so great.
I don't think she was worried about Toyohime. She just used that as an excuse to visit Eirin, I think.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersPossibly. Even if it is nepotism, at least they have to good graces to be actually good at their jobs. Except their ghost infiltration rate is 100%.
Song of the SirensGhosts are pure, so how can they tell?
And the possibly retconned earth invasion.
Youmu is only half ghost so would she be only half pure?
edited 4th Sep '11 12:06:58 PM by Bocaj
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI wonder about that. Apparently, the Watatsuki family have been doing this job for about a 1000 years, though presumably under Eirin. * Since they are already so close to Eirin and, presumably, her family, it would make sense to marry into that family?
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.be fair. Yuyuko's the only one who's even attempted to. That and, becuase she's dead, she might be considered "pure"
Well, they let the half-human half-impure Youmu slip through their defenses.
Song of the SirensConsidering that is was just the ditzy moon rabbit mooks and not any elites it doesn't seem that hard to slip through if your just half human.
That awkward moment where Kyoro is one of Satan's Generals.Their track record is actually kind of bad.
Granted, the vampire invasion was facilitated by Eirin for her own ends.
They didn't really slip through since Yuyuko actually went up and started talking to them.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersI think Youmu is all-pure given that she lived in the Netherworld before Yukari opened up the borders. Being half-human doesn't mean you're half-impure. The Lunarians themselves are full-human after all (sort of). Where you live is more important than what you are, and Youmu lives in a Pure Land.

About the sisters and Eirin, Ci LR hints that the 'sukis know exactly where Eientei is, but they're keeping it secret out of respect for Eirin. S Si B more or less states outright that they're in cahoots with her.
Derp. The sisters know exactly where Eientei is seeing as they visit it in Inaba^2.

Song of the SirensAnd IN stated that the Moon had no idea where Gensokyo was or at least couldn't get into it. ZUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!

Forever liveblogging the AvengersIndeed, they're hiding her from the moon. Which is why everyone gets so suspicious of them when stuff starts happening. The fact that the rocket was powered by summoned gods certainly didn't help either.
X alot:Even so, breaking "protocol" and going down to the "impure" Earth to visiting her old master seems kinda cute in a way. Eh. I am probably making no sense.
Pretty sure Yuyuko is considered "pure" by Lunarian standards, so they probably wouldn't notice her unless they were actively looking for her. No clue about Youmu though. And about the Remilia and such, they did end up trying to "push" them back, correct? Then they got in trouble anyway due to them being there and how they got there. (if I understand correctly)
OK, yeah, for characters constantly labeled Mary Sues, they don't really win alot. (OK, they win in battle, but...)
EDIT: The Youmu explanation makes sense. Also, them putting their necks on the line for Eirin makes me smile. Such loyalty.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.More than anything else, they're just pawns in a xanatos pile-up between Eirin and Yukari. Just like most of the other people in SSIB. And Eirin and Yukari both win. And Remilia wins, in her own way. The Watatsukis and Reimu lose.
The moral of the story, Eirin and Yukari should play chess against each other.
Forever liveblogging the Avengers
Nice write-ups.
