@Tardises: No, we're not discussing fairies as a species.

@Bocaj: That was pretty cute. Some parts felt rushed, but yeah.

@The Fact That I Was Gone All Day And Had No Time To Write The Thing I Wanted To Write: Titmonkeys.

Mostly the thing is that someone mentioned that the Prismrivers may have gone to the Netherworld to find Layla. And every good rescuing someone from hell story needs a musical angle.

Because sometimes you can simply rock your way into Mordor.

But yeah, I think the Prismrives have a big long story that you could tell about them and their genesis and their inspirations and all that to create a narrative tapestry of plot. But I'm not the right person to tell it. I'm lazy and prone to distraction.

Titmonkeys

One of the more feared species in the animal kingdom.

Koakuma, Sanae, and I use my spare vote to vote down the Watasuki Sisters

@ Bocaj: Excellent.

Well. We've got Koakuma and the Watatsuki in the lead with 4 votes each, with Aya and Sanae sitting at 3*

.

Guess it's the reckoning of the guys who always have people voting for them but never quite enough. Though the Three Fairies only have 1 vote this time around.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. NOT THE MOONBITCHES. THEY DON'T DESERVE DISCUSSION.

Now where's that BFG-9000, so I can teach them a lesson about what they did?

They deserve discussion. Yorihime just bombspams her way through the fight, which is a perfectly valid strategy.

Still a moonbitch.

IMO, Reimu should have bust out Fantasy Heaven at some point.

No way that can be countered outside of the fighting games, right? (and even then only Youmu is able to, and she has a very brief window in order to do so.)

Yorihime's probably got a god of preventing people from leaving the very fabric of reality hidden up her sleeve.

If Youmu's able to counter it, then Yorihime is probably able to. No way to judge their relative skill, though, since they never have a swordfight.

Youmu needed to use one specific spellcard to counter Fantasy heaven (Technically it's countering the hit that activates the spellcard, though.)

Yes, because characters are incredibly effective at stopping others from ripping off their spellcards.

If only the moonbitches were in a game so we could RIP AND TEAR them.

I am fine with moon princesses.

I personally never got why they get as much hate as they do*

, but I am just strange I guess.

I'm not that fond of Toyohime, but I think Yorihime's alright.

Eh...Likewise. I'll get more into it later, but Toyohime rubs me the wrong way.

...Yorihime actually seems pretty cool IMO.

Most of my hate for them is exaggerated and the rest of it is a general Screw You, Elves!. Because, srsly, screw those oh so perfect space elves and their perfect society and their using Earth as a prison while getting their jollies by testing humans with the concept of immortality just to have a big ol' laugh about what fools these mortals be while their own society is based on slavery.

Reminds me of the Spacers, they do. Specifically the Solarians they do. Although not quite as bad.

I like to think that the Lunarians aren't as clever as they like to think. They got outmaneuvred by Yuyuko (fair enough, she's pretty cunning), and they tried to excecute an immortal (this, however, is unforgiveable).

They were also apparently losing the war to the humans in the IN backstory but I think SSIB retconned this.

"THEY HAVE ADVANCED WEAPONRY! WE NEED ALL MOON BUNNIES BACK TO BE CANNON FODDER!"
"No, wait. False alarm. Our power is maximum. They only landed on the science Moon and never touched us."

I guess a way to reconcile it is that humans only landed on the science moon but someone within the moon capital took advantage of it to try to make a grab for power and disguised the uprising as an invasion for reasons that I'm sure make sense to someone.

The whole chronology of the moon is all borked up. There was a conflict that made Reisen run away from the moon and its implied it might have been the Apollo program. But then there was another conflict on the moon that made the Moon call her back? So what was that conflict?
