This years Wrestlemania was disappointing, I was pumped up for the Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus match, but it was a dark match. And why in the name of all that is good and decent did they have to get Snooki to perform in Wrestlemania, discraceful.
Snooki? Yeah, that was on the pointless side, Trish and Morrison should have been enough. The Daniel Bryan Sheamus match, I didn't have much opinion on, but it probably would have been better than the battle Royal. The WWE and World Heavy Weight Championships should have changed hands and King's decision shouldn't have been overturned.
But there have been worse Wrestlemanias, my complaints are more about plot than matches, believe it or not.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackI'm still kinda bummed out that Edge has pretty much retired from wrestling. Ah well, at least he did it before his injuries got worse.
Well, what about future Talent. Awesome Kong? Big scary monster vs tag team twins? Kong vs Kim;the revival. Awesome Kong vs Beth Phoenix?
NXT still a web show apparently and we have a new season of tough enough. No one excited for future talent?
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackTriple H got us Sin Cara? Who would have guessed?

I hope that higher doesn't mean better on that list. Luke Gallows is higher than Jack Swagger while Hard Gay and Mistico aren't even on it.
Jerry Lawler, he's great, but he hardly ever wrestles anymore, being retired. Why not Ezekiel Jackson or Alberto Del Rio?
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackHigher does mean better. It's a list about who the users at WKO think were the 100 best wrestlers of 2010.
...
I guess I know some people who'd agree with that, the list could be worse in my opinion, but I'm not taking it as gospel truth.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackHow can Necro Butcher be ranked above Jushin Liger? He is just a garbage wrestler. On an unrelated note, who here watches japanese puroresu? I do not follow it very actively, but Japan has produced brilliant wrestlers such as Jushin Liger, Keiji Mutoh, Mitsuharu Misawa (RIP) and Kenta Kobashi. Some of them even featured in WCW, where Jushin Liger had some great matches with Rey Mysterio and Chris Benoit.
I don't watch it much, unless I have an urge to watch wrestling and WWE and the local mom and pops aren't satisfying it. Then I may watch something from Mexico, Japan or the US indie circuit like Ring Of Honor.
I haven't completely gotten used to Japanese wrestling, it has a higher number of adrenalin rushes, less selling and different psychology than what I usually watch, and gimmicks seem to be very common there were they're rare to non existent elsewhere. I'd be lying if I said there went many entertaining guys on their shows though.

Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackDuring the 90's, I adored puro. Masahiro Chono was a member of NWO and that exposed me to a lot of Japanese wrestling. It's very innovative and contains good psychology without overdoing itself. The spots are mostly right, although the botches can be painstakingly visible. Worth the watch, even in it's modern form.
Jeff Hardy. Discuss.
"Dr. Strangeloid, or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Cleanlink" - thespacephantomIn-ring? Not bad on the eyes. His matches are decent, and he can use his style in any situation. Hardy's not one of my favorites, but to deny his prowess would be a travesty.
His real life problems though, are something he's well responsible of. I prefer to separate the two apart.

Jeff Hardy used to be a great wrestler, he had really great tag-team matches with his brother and the Dudley Boyz, but now he has fallen low. A damn shame it is.
I'd like to see Jeff clean himself up and come back. Whilst I'm not a fan of his, I can't deny he's talented.
His piece of shit brother on the other hand. . .
I have a podcast! I think that you should listen to it.This may seem silly, but I'm going to snap into a Slim Jim today in his honor. I'm not really a wrestling fan, but I find for many he is one of the people non-fans think of when they think of pro wrestling. I would even say he was the voice of wrestling. You think of faces, you might think of Hulk Hogan, or The Rock, but when you want to talk like a wrestler, you talked like Randy Savage.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. It's weird, my friend and I were talking about how cool we think he is just a few days ago.
WWE released a DVD package of him, so is it safe to assume he made up with Vince before dieing?
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackA great loss for the wrestling community. May he rest in peace.
It occurred to me after seeing the extreme rules PPV that John Morrisson is an awesome wrestler. He had a terrific three-way cage match with John Cena and The Miz, though the ending was terrible as John Cena won once again. His limits as a wrestler were made abundantly clear when he was in a same match with Morrison.
What do people here think of WWE's new luchador Sin Cara? I've seen a few of his matches and he is bloody brilliant.
I liked Sin Cara's old name, mask and finishing move more. But I may not be the right person to ask and his old move started out with the 619 so...
I like him. I like his name, I like his mask, I like his moves I like his music. His best matches so far were with Chavo on PPV and Daniel Bryan on Smackdown. Its about time both shows had a mask again too. Wrestling always looks kind of funny to me when I don't see any masks.
Edit:Its a shame WWE super stars doesn't air anymore. The show they put up online today was pretty good, the fans actually cheered for the Usos over the Corre! Gail and Melina prove that their division can still survive, even without Kharma. Tyson Kidd's on a winning streak. The B Show usually has good matches but gets no promotion.
Edit: Leaving these here until my other thread in unlocked.
