@Mage Commentators are saying it happened in the panel where North (in Cold's body) is stretching his tail out to attack.

That there is no evidence or foreshadowing of it, and North Kaioshin didn't see it when it happened in front of him, it's totally a copout.

I gotta agree. I mean, unless Ginyu whispered it somehow. I mean, you could argue there's room for expansion on how the technique works since it's only been done three times in canon and there's nothing to say Ginyu can't improve it, but you gotta build up on that.

@unnoun honestly, that was a joke. It just sorta came out of my fingers without really thinking specifically about one gender or the other.

You know, for a comic that's been around for a decade, it's shocking how the series hasn't really created anything new, ya know? They mock and belittle GT, so it's not like they're going to create what their idea of a Super Saiyan 4 is anytime soon, and they're clearly not the biggest fans of Super either. The series has long since passed them by and they're just playing with the same old pieces rather than making something to set themselves apart. The only new form the series made was Frost's absurd transformation which is divisive at best.

Who will be the one to take down Majin Cold / Ginyu?

Either of the Gohan's could one-shot him; one of them is currently looking for Babidi while the other is outside destroying Nappa. If he re-enters the tournament area then he could deal with Ginyu easily.

Neither of the Piccolo's could stop Ginyu even if they worked together; unless they did a fusion dance which would be hilarious.

The Ultra Armour guys could reasonably one-shot Ginyu too but they're currently occupied by Cell.

I don't think anyone else inside the tournament area has the power to deal with Ginyu except for Bra who still has not made an appearance.

It's not just a matter of power.

He's just shown some pretty big hax with his body switch (curving it to hit someone who it'd missed, and then secretly changing before being killed).

You need to be aware he can do that, or kill him before he can try, or your screwed.

The only way you could realistically beat Ginyu is to be a No-Nonsense Nemesis and don't give him the time to concentrate so he can change. The whole Babidi arc is just the Vargas being incompetent when it comes to keeping an eye on the villains.

Has the writer forgotten the Dragonballs, even the Namekian ones, have limits? They wouldn't be powerful enough to get certain people what they want, like wiping out all the Saiyans for Dr Raichi or having a multiversal range. I also believe that it was stated that the Namekian Dragonballs can't bring back people who've been dead over a year, otherwise bringing back everyone killed by Frieza would also resurrect every Saiyan. Hopefully, since they'd manifest in the vacuum of space.

No. He never really needed to so we don't know if he could.

He did try and absorb Goku in GT if I remember correctly.

Yeah, but GT doesn't count. Unless we're specifically talking about GT.

Still, Cell being able to absorb people is kinda his thing. It would be weird for him to just lose it.

This is Dragonball. People completely lose abilities all the time.

Unfortunately Cell has now totally set himself up to lose via nanites or Carbonite.

I'll admit I thought they were serious at first. When I opened the page my immediate thought was "Oh come on, that's just going too far".
