Honestly, I'm a little surprised the UPA even has as much as was shown in yesterday's diagram. I know tactics matter and that Tagon and his crew are excellent at that, but it still seems like he's being underestimated by the first and third panels (though the second is certainly cause for alarm).

Cindy is very bitey, but she is small. She could 1v1 any of the UPA's ships, but they were a whole fleet working together. Just like the splash a couple pages ago said - synergic support is more than the sum of its parts.

I guess it does make sense solely in terms of raw firepower. That said, the UPA seems like it barely knows which end of the barrel to point towards the enemy.

It's also Tagon's one ship vs what used to be an entire battlegroup of theirs. Quanity has its own Quality at times.
I mean, Tagon would have outclassed them as shiphandler and tactician by parsecs...

@FuzzyBoots: Almost certainly deliberate. That level of mangling the name is not something you do on an open channel unless you're deliberately being belligerent for the sake of belligerency. Even if the Uuplechian couldn't wrap their brain and/or tongue around "Pethmatoko," they could have simply called the ship "approaching vessel" if they were at all concerned about being polite.
