OK, I admit it, I have completely lost track of who all these people are..
http://www.mansionofe.comThey are that systems actual armed forces.
The UPA are just a racist militia with some government support, not their actual navy.
"You can reply to this Message!"Honestly, I'm a little surprised the UPA even has as much as was shown in yesterday's diagram. I know tactics matter and that Tagon and his crew are excellent at that, but it still seems like he's being underestimated by the first and third panels (though the second is certainly cause for alarm).
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Cindy is very bitey, but she is small. She could 1v1 any of the UPA's ships, but they were a whole fleet working together. Just like the splash a couple pages ago said - synergic support is more than the sum of its parts.
I guess it does make sense solely in terms of raw firepower. That said, the UPA seems like it barely knows which end of the barrel to point towards the enemy.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. It's also Tagon's one ship vs what used to be an entire battlegroup of theirs. Quanity has its own Quality at times.
I mean, Tagon would have outclassed them as shiphandler and tactician by parsecs...
"You can reply to this Message!"A bit or expansion on who's who, and choosing sides.
I agree with Cindy, "standing way off to one side" is probably the best position to take on which side, given the situation.

All your safe space are belong to TrumpThis feels like a Maxim 29 moment - the enemy of my enemy is my enemy's enemy. No more, no less.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Hmm... the Uuplechan commander mangling the name of the ship... I can't tell if that's a deliberate slight or not.
EDIT: Completely failed to notice a link had been posted.

@FuzzyBoots: Almost certainly deliberate. That level of mangling the name is not something you do on an open channel unless you're deliberately being belligerent for the sake of belligerency. Even if the Uuplechian couldn't wrap their brain and/or tongue around "Pethmatoko," they could have simply called the ship "approaching vessel" if they were at all concerned about being polite.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Things are about to get a bit more complicated for the Puppehs.
Seems Puppeh Relations come with a Vengeance.
"You can reply to this Message!"New one, in which the people at the heart of all the big events come onstage.

Poor Sashiko.
Oh, I'm sure Gugro can find a few people within Tagon's Toughs who know how to use guns.
Your funny quote here! (Maybe)On that note, Guntherboat to the rescue.
Captaining is 90% wishing your Officers showed some brains and initiative and 10% wishing they'd remember their dear old CO in his old age.
"You can reply to this Message!"Permission to speak freely. I'm with Tagon here. It's one of those phrases like "We need to talk" or "Can you step into my office?" that triggers the primitive lizard brain that expects a fight.
Succeeding too much. Here's hoping there's no spilt milk...
