I always find myself asking... how much of this is Gil and how much of this is Klaus? evil grin

If anything Gil is getting some deserved break. If anything the Klaus part in Gil would see the case on a more positive outlook: It ain't the Heterodyne Girl, it ain't a Lucrezia clone and if anything could and would help a lot with the relations with Albia.

Then the fridge logic came to scare me with a hammer, if anything goes sourly, as noted by Klaus' tendencies to infuriate sparky women, which it seems Gil inherited, it is bound to give a major headache. Wondering if Papa Klaus would surface to stop Gil from making things worse or would do the deed himself (making the time go awry).

I think there's a grammar problem in today's strip (linked on the previous page).

I sent some notes with Sturmvoraus. With all three of us are working together on this problem with Mechanicsburg, well, we've got to get somewhere.
The bold word seems misplaced.

@AnotherBear: Technically speaking, it is precisely a theory. A hypothesis is a starting supposition based on limited evidence as a starting point. A theory is a supposition where the further gathering of evidence supports the supposition, but it has yet to be confirmed as fact. A fact is something we know to be true and beyond the point of supposition.

Higgs being The Sneaky General is not yet confirmed, so it is not a fact. The facts that we have in evidence (in particular, the comic to which you linked and the subsequent comics) certainly support the supposition that he is The Sneaky General, but there are still possibilities that are not that but are supported by what has been shown so far (for example, if Higgs is the aide-de-camp for The Sneaky General).

Thus, by definition, "Higgs is The Sneaky General" is a theory (one I happen to agree with, mind you).

@FuzzyBoots: Well, I think this is more Gil, because Klaus is all too aware of how he has to be the head of the empire at all times.

I'm one. I don't like having to scroll down to the bottom to skip to the current thread. Whose silly idea was that?

[up] Good point. Has her Undying Majesty initiated a plot? Is Trelawney on the up and up? Does she have designs on Gil for personal reasons?evil grin Anyone up for shipping?

At the very least, we know Albia considers Gil to be a "weed", so anything she can do/encourage to lure him away from Agatha will be seen as good.

Getting "logged out" every time I have to reset or go back into the same machine is a bit tedious to say the least. But it seems it is going to be the top complaint some have at this point.

Also stupid question but outside the "the works" blocking the update... how much have been without fillers? Since at this point I am feeling a "they are due" vibe in the head.

Well, it looks like nearly the entire gang is together again, which probably means a major story arc is coming. Any guesses who the principle antagonist is going to turn out to be?

Hmm... the most immediate antagonist is going to be someone connected to The Other again, I bet. But I have a feeling that, for this arc at least, Albia herself is looming as a Bigger Bad.

[up] Dunno, I'm expecting something more like there being so much trouble around Agatha that Albia decides keeping her around is just not that great of an idea after all.

Yeah, I really don't see Albia taking The Other's place as the main protagonist. If anything, I wouldn't be surprised if she's dead before Agatha departs England, and Princess Urania has assumed the throne. (Urania is mentioned here, and appeared in person in the Trelawyne Thorpe side-story that Cheyenne Wright did at one point, so her appearing in the main comic is at least a possibility.)

I'm somewhat surprised that Agatha didn't see that coming. Though let's be fair - this one is Klaus' fault, not hers.

Interesting thought- if Klaus had been warned this would happen, from a source he trusted, would he have still done it?

@Geoduck: Huh... if whatever is advancing on Mechanicsburg (which is in no way associated with the Dreen, I'm totally sure) was something Klaus had known about instead of an Outside-Context Problem... hmm... basically, would he have crossed the Godzilla Threshold to use the Take 5 bomb regardless.

Given that he thinks that Lucrezia is either in control of Agatha or very close to taking total control, I suspect he would have. Presuming Klaus had the right context (namely, that he had roughly 4-5 years from its detonation before Whatever-It-Is breaks reality), he probably would have seen "problem I have to solve soon or it destroys everything" as better than The Other controlling Mechanicsburg, which he views as "problem I have to solve RIGHT NOW or it destroys everything."

Well in any instance what I was meaning is that it seems that as an in universe law that: "If there is something that will cause even the Sparks consider it is too mad dangerous and whatnot, it is bound to have happened or happen in Mechanicsburg. "

The Heterodynes have managed to put the weirdness magnet to work enough times for that to be postulated in universe.

And our girl Agatha seems to have genuinely forgotten that Jenka told her about the situation in Mechanicsburg a few days ago.

Fortunately, her Spymaster is inbound.
