Boruto SD is also pretty cute and fun. Can't wait for that to get an anime.
Sasuke and Boruto have a really good dynamic there. Sarada is the straight man and Boruto is the Rock Lee to Sasuke's Gai in that Boruto thinks everything Sasuke does is cool even the lamest things.
They even reference the Dr. Snakes bit with Sasuke:
Should have gone all the way with it.◊

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."He loves his snakes
So do all three of the next gen trio kids have snake summons ?
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Sarada doesn't have a summon yet.
Boruto has summoned a snake before and it's been implied that his summons will be snakes in the future.
So maybe Sarada will get Slugs like her mom or Toads like Naruto/Konohomaru.
But maybe she'll get snakes too like Sasuke. Sasuke's snake, Aoda, has already shown friendliness with his daughter.
I would prefer an all-snake team though. Snakes get a bad rap already.

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."It would be nice since the OG series always depcited them as bad guys.
Plus they are the coolest of the summons IMO.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."There's a long history of hating reptiles in cultures all over the world it seems. Orochimaru was a snake-man and a substantial part of his villain creep factor was just how gross he was because he was a snake-man.
I thought it made him cooler. Snakes rule.
I always wondered what Manda was up to back when Oro was on the good guy side, though. Did he not want human sacrifices back then?
Manda died during the great snake incident with sasuke. He was cloned into a more docile form called manda 2.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."I know. I'm talking about when Oro summoned him back in Part 1 and Manda told him he wanted a lot of sacrifices.
Was he like that when Orochimaru was just another Leaf ninja?

It helps that the snakes did loads of things. They were interesting and versatile summons, unlike the Toads and Slugs which mostly did 1 thing
As always the villains get all the cool shit.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Ma and Pa Toad were different.
I got no problem with Toads
It's more that Pa and Ma are the only ones that are different, and they only appear for an arc.
Animal Magic was something that fascinated me in Naruto, but the snakes got way more and way more interesting stuff out of it.
Didn’t help that Naruto only ever used toads a handful of times.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."@Nikkolas Most likely, Orochimaru didn't use Manda but a different snake up until then.
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Didn't Manda recognize Katsuyu and Bunta? Or am I misremembering.
Either way, Orochimaru was part of Root so he could acquire people to feed to his pet snake I'm sure.
Good to see that Viz is now titling Sasuke as Sarada's dad.
Sasuke replaces Konohomaru as Team 7's captain here. It'll probably be adapted into Boruto.
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Maybe Boruto's dad and Sarada's dad were rivals in the past. A prequel focused on them would be cool.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Ahahahah Konohomaru is such a loser.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Well he always was, wasn't he? It's only recently that he became slightly less of a loser
He was supposed to be cooler when he confronted Pain I guess?
Hey guys, coming here from the TRS thread Everythings Better With Princesses. It's in the cut and dewick stage. Can anyone come up with a better laconic for Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow? It was formerly just that trope name.
Sort of? Konohamaru's problem is that he's introduced (and stays for a very long time) an annoying wimp. When you start so low, cool moments are more "he's less of a loser" moments. Post-Pain he doesn't do much until Boruto, at which point he's their sensei, except pretty much the first thing we see of him is mucking up a Rasengan demonstration.

Hes climbing up from total loser to just a loser.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."The poor dumbfuck thinks he can actually be Hokage.
He's lucky Hanabi's sweet on him or else he would have nothing in his life.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Hokage konohamaru would be nightmare. Like If someone like pain or orchimaru were to attack. The leaf would get flattened.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."
Its a really good spinoff. Plus the first half of that finale was damn good. Even if the ending pissed me off a little.
